Gloria Palace San Agustin Thalasso and Hotel

Good Hotel, Rooms absolutely ok and clean. Buffet restaurant has very friendly personal. Food could vary a bit more and not return after 3 Days. A lot of unnormal loud shouting and crying kids. But if parents are not able To manage it, how shall kids learn. Parking lot always full. Pool with saltwater is not the biggest but all in good shape and clean

Currently here but bit disappointed the main pool is salt water with no shallow end for the kids to play in. Also when we were in the pool getting told off by lifeguard for playing catch with a ball. For gods sake we are on holiday! Hotel ok but spoiling the kids fun. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to have a good time round the pool

We just returned from a visit to Gloria Palace and had a wonderful week. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, food was great and location.

Rooms: We had a two bedroom family room which was spacious each room had a balcony and a large bathroom was located between the two bedrooms. Plenty of wardrobe space, TV in each room, large sunny terrace, tea/coffee facilities in a quiet area. Only downside needed big or any mirror in the main double bedroom.

Restaurant: We couldn't fault the food there was always something to eat and different everyday, the lady in the mornings make a great omelette, waiting staff are friendly and bring drinks to your table and clear the tables were promptly. There is lots of selection, lots of fresh fruit and ice creams.

Facilities: The Gym is located opposite the family rooms, the swimming pool is salt water a good size but not massive, there is a separate children's pool with slides and water stuff which is helpful as meant it was mainly adults in the main pool. The are three/four bar areas but in the restaurant and bar near the restaurant there is waiter service to your table. The Pool and beds didn't open until 9.30am each morning so there was queueing and I would imagine in height of summer there are not enough beds, but we managed every day to find beds or a cabana. There is a swimming pool on the roof but that and the beds up there are not included in the AI, you have to pay each day.

Location: Walking distance to the beach and a small shopping centre, there is a supermarket right opposite the hotel if you need any essentials although a cheaper option "Spar" if you walk down to San Augustin Shops. We took an Uber into Playa Des Ingles and then walked back along the promenade took about 50 mins, Uber cost about 10 euros for the three of us. The hotel offers a free bus service each morning at 10.30am and 11.30am to Playa Des Ingles or Maspalomas.

Airport: We take an Uber from the airport cost 45-50 euros each way but only took 20 mins which was the upside rather than waiting for transfer bus, i believe there is a public bus but that needed more investigation.

Overall we would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again.
