Partly renovated in 2007, this hotel comprises a total of 346 double rooms spread over 9 floors. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk and lifts. There are also 2 bars, a nightclub, a TV room and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a separate non-smoking area. A conference room, public Internet terminal (additional fee), room, laundry and medical services and a car park round of the hotel's facilities and guests may relax in the complex's bewitching grounds.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, 2 hot tubs and outdoor tennis courts. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge). Getting to the surf and sand is a breeze with the complimentary beach shuttle.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Lovely clean hotel, rooms very comfortable and fabulous selection of food. This was my 4th visit here, I did find it a bit busier as I am usually here in November, but it was still a lovely place to be. Julia was very entertaining, she seemed to organise all the activities from aqua gym to bingo and all other classes and even performed in the evening and has a beautiful singing voice. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were all so pleasant. The beach was within walking distance and this wasnt a problem to us but someone with limited mobility might find it a problem, but there is a courtesy bus from the hotel to playa del ingles and maspaloma. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.
Just returned from a 12 day trip. The hotel is lovely and clean and the rooms are spacious and modern. The staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of sunbeds so no sunbed wars (out of peak holiday season I must say!), we got to the pool at 10ish everyday and never struggled. Pools are deep, I’m 5ft 7 and was on my tip toes the whole time, but a lovely temp and a good size. They are salty but didn’t really matter. We were half board and I must say I’m very grateful for that. I wouldn’t say me and my husband are fussy eaters at all but we really struggled with the food. My husband lived like a child on burgers, chips and pizza whilst I attempted to eat a little better. Don’t get me wrong we never left without eating something but it was just bland and boring. Luckily we ate out every night barring one so could get some relief. I am genuinely shocked to see such positive reviews of the food tbh. The one night we did eat in the hotel we ended up getting uber eats delivered a few hours later as we were still hungry
The shopping centre is down the hill about 5/10 min walk and was great, we spent every evening there. The food choice's are great and all of our meals were amazing. We then got a taxi back up each night costing 3.85euros, so not expensive at all. The walk back is easy doable we just couldn’t be bothered
The beds were comfortable but I hated them being twins as I like to cuddle my husband! The bathrooms were lovely and spacious. Air con is TERRIBLE. One thing I care about on holiday is being cool whilst relaxing and that never happened. It’s wasn’t broken as we could hear it on, it was just diabolical. The main reason for me never returning ever again is that. Plus every single other area in the hotel has no air con, not in the reception, spa, restaurant so you are just hot all the time!
We got a good deal on a couples massage and the spa was nice, would recommend that.
Gorbea restaurant we never tried as we thought it was pricy when you can have lovely food just down the road, but setting is nice. We tried the rooftop pool one day aswell, which is nice that it’s adults only but far too quiet for us so we went back downstairs after an hour. The nudist area was interesting and I think quite refreshing to have somewhere like this! But it is separated from the pool area so if you don’t want to see naked people you don’t have too

This was our 5th visit to this hotel in recent times, which obviously shows how we enjoy our stays here. Mostly our experience is good. however we did notice some things that have changed over the time. The only bar which appears to be open for all day is the one in Snack Bar, we did miss the large bar behind the reception which has not been open the last couple of times we have stayed. It was nice to be able to sit in a bit of comfort and hear the entertainment from a distance. Talking of which, at times it is impossible to get a table to sit at in the snack bar at night. Also the Lobby bar does not appear to be open for very long hours now. The food is good with plenty of choice The hotel is clean, and usually the rooms are cleaned regularly, again we did have some issues of our room and shower not being cleaned and the room being left open all day. These issues were dealt with quickly when we reported them. The staff are friendly and helpful, a special shout out to Kamal in the restaurant, who has attended to us on all our visits. The reception staff are all very helpful, check in and check out was very easy and pain free! The Thalasso is lovely and with our booking we had a session every day in the Spa pools, which was really good. We also booked a massage which was also very relaxing. We had a room on the 8th floor with a view of the pool and the sea which was lovely. The rooms are well sound proofed and very comfortable. The chill out area on the roof is also very enjoyable, and relaxing, and the Gorbea restaurant is a delight, we treated ourselves to a meal there on night. Everyone ( guests) appeared to be relaxed and enjoying their stay. It did get a bit busy in the dining room especially at breakfast, but we found if we were there a bit earlier it was not quite as busy. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Being older and a little bit compromised mobility wise, The walk back from San Augustin in the heat can be a bit hard after a day on the beach, or from the bus stop after a day out, it is the only thing that would make us change where we stay, We went out several times and got quite knowledgeable on the buses and routes, we enjoyed a day in Las Palmas, a day in Meloneras, a day in Teror, last year we were there for the Fiesta which was lovely with all the decorated floats, this year we were there and saw a military parade.We also took the ferry to Puerta Mogan. With the beach days, and days round the pool we packed plenty into our holiday.
STAFF - ALL NEED SACKED (Bar the lovely lady on the roof top bar) Well, what can I say. The staff at this hotel are the WORST I have ever come across in my 30 years of existence. Don’t order a drink it’s a crime in this hotel.. If you try and order more than 2 drinks they mutter under there breath to eachother, slam drinks on the side, walk off while your trying to order.. I could write an essay. Rude isn’t the word….We were astonished at how rude these people are. Even the cleaner was so rude, he’d ’cleaned the lift’ so me and my 2 young children got shouted at for trying to get to our room… ‘NOT POSSIBLE’ and put his arm across our faces. He was lucky I had my kids with me…
ENTERTAINMENT- If you can call it that, oh my lord I have never ever stayed in a hotel with entertainment as bad as this- they advertised michale jackson tribute one night, us a family of 16 all sat down ready buzzing for it! To sit and then watch ‘ A magician’ and when I say magician he was blowing baloons up, this was meant to be adults entertainment and my 4 year old actually turned to me and said ‘daddy what’s he meant to be doing? Every single person there were looking at eachother as if to say what on earth is this. Then another night flamenco dancers, a man in his 70’s jumping up and down on the stage with them clicking things in his hands for an hour. 60% of the people watching got up and left. Absolutley abysmal. Really poor atmosphere every night. No buzz what so ever. I have no idea where the entertainment team was ( there wasn’t one) Done one thing in the week I was there ‘ a pool party’ again we thought wow this might actually be half decent. Went round the pool and it was a women stood there and did a music quiz for 30 mins. That was the pool party. I’m not expecting Ibiza rocks, but holy moly I felt like I was staying in a 1 star hotel.
All in all DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!
All pretty good other than the gym smelling like faeces. Literally worse than toilets.
