Partly renovated in 2007, this hotel comprises a total of 346 double rooms spread over 9 floors. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk and lifts. There are also 2 bars, a nightclub, a TV room and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a separate non-smoking area. A conference room, public Internet terminal (additional fee), room, laundry and medical services and a car park round of the hotel's facilities and guests may relax in the complex's bewitching grounds.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, 2 hot tubs and outdoor tennis courts. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge). Getting to the surf and sand is a breeze with the complimentary beach shuttle.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Our first Holiday at this Hotel. After reading some negative reviews we where a little unsure what to expect. Check in was quick and smooth. We booked a Sea View room on fourth floor. Lovely views. Room clean and spacious. Two bottles of Water on arrival and every day. Food a bit hit and miss but, you can always find something. Restaurant Staff are more than helpful. Drinks are local brand Cocktails awful. Regular entertainment. This hotel Has a great Pool and no Sun Bed Wars. We would highly recommend this Hotel. After speaking to other Guests not one person had a bad thing to say. We will be returning.
I would say that this hotel is more or less like any big hotel in any part of the world! But there is a difference: in this hotel even in your room you will never be alone. You can hear noises coming from everywhere (day and night) Noises comes from right, left, front, back, upstairs and downstairs. Probably the big chiefs here have never heard of insulation!
This was our first time at this hotel and I have to say that we will return. The hotel is in a lovely location with wonderful panoramic views. Reception staff were all very good, friendly, efficient and very professional, the rooms were very comfortable and very spacious, however I do think that the rooms could use some more storage in the way off more draws. The balcony was also very spacious with adequate drying racks on the walls. We were on All Inclusive plus basis and the food ; Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was excellent, the all inclusive wines were from bottles and not on tap and were very palatable. There is a little bit of a hill up to the hotel which we did not have a problem with however there is a free shuttle bus service to Playa Del Ingles and Maspalomas which operates twice in the morning and returns twice in the afternoon. We have stayed in San Agustin many times previously in privately owned accommodation and have spoken with people who recommend the hotel. Overall we had a lovely relaxing two weeks and we will no doubt return.
Just returned from four nights at this hotel and while it is a good, clean hotel with good facilities there were some shortcomings in the overall stay.
Overall a good hotel with potential, but improvements, and a look into efficiency, would make this a higher rating.
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Gloria! We stayed in a spacious room on the 5th floor, which offered a spectacular view of the sea. The hotel features two fairly large parking lots, which was very convenient for us since we rented a car. Location-wise, it is only a 15–20 minute drive to Maspalomas. The amenities are wonderful: they provide beach towels and have lovely, beautiful swimming pools. The nearest beach is about a 20-minute walk, but the hotel also offers a convenient shuttle transfer to a larger beach nearby. The food was highly varied and delicious every day. Housekeeping was spot-on as well—everything was kept impeccably clean throughout our entire stay. We are extremely satisfied with our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended!
