Great holiday with fantastic entertainment (esp. Andrew), super location and lovely food! Worth to visit!
Wr had amazing time at Don Gregory, the staff are very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome especially Andrew from animation teamThe environment is clean and fresh, the food very tasteful.
This is our second visit and we are now 16 days into our 28 day stay in this amazing hotel. It truly is like a second home and the daily pace is so relaxing with amazing attentive staff who have gone beyond the norm to look after us. Hotels can be soulless but the Don Gregory has a heart, the staff truly care from Andrew who is Head of Customer Services , Hamilton at the pool bar with Rosa, Jennifer and Laura, not forgetting Jesus the chef and his amazing food, try the garlic prawns.
At dinner we are looked after by an amazing team but special mention to Alexander, Alexandro and Aaron. I wont go on about the hotel amenities , you can check them out on the website . The rooms are spacious, did i mention we are here for almost a month😊 We have a room on the sixth floor overlooking most of the pool and bar area and with the most outstanding views out to sea. We are so fortunate to be here. Each meal is an experience with many options and plenty of themed evenings. We are on half board but have the choice to swap dinner for lunch which we enjoy.
Do we love this place? Hell yeah!! So much so we are on the way back for another months stay in May 2027.
We got a beautiful ocean view room on the 7th floor. The room and the hotel are clean, modern and the view is simply perfect. The breakfast is very plentiful, there are a lot of fresh vegetables and fresh fruits. We personally loved the representation and the taste of the daily fresh home made juices like the fruits in the small bowl shows what is inside of it. The staff here are very friendly, helpful and smiling. There is a black cat in front of the hotel, he is very cute. The hotel is close to the ocean and the bus station. Overall we had a good time in this hotel and we recommend it.
The hotel is lovely, clean and fab location right on the beach. Rooms were clean. Only downside with the rooms was the air conditioning does not get cold which affected our sleep. There is also a TV in the room which does not have any English channels and although the remote offered netflix and Disney etc this was not accessible so was unable to watch anything of an evening when the bar closed at 11.30pm. The food is very nice but the pool bar food was nicer than the restaurant. The shopping centre across from the hotel needs to be updated and needs more restaurants to update the area. The Greek restaurant across the road was lovely though and the little Irish bar. The staff are really nice especially Hamilton who works behind the bar he was very accommodating and friendly. The reason we have not given 5* is because we were extremely disappointed in the lack of evening entertainment. The atmosphere at the hotel is not very nice. We are a couple aged 46 and dont feel there was any entertainment accommodating to our age group. The average age group is 60 and over and feel the hotel should advertise this. The hotel is good value for money we went half board and was happy with 2 meals a day and food at the pool bar. Unfortunately we wouldnt stay here again but only cause of the lack of atmosphere and entertainment.
