The Servatur Casablanca Suites & Spa (Adults Only) Hotel is located in the town of Puerto Rico, in the south of Gran Canaria. It has 97 Junior Suites, a lobby, 24-hour reception, lift and a supermarket. It also offers a pool bar, a chill-out terrace on the roof, a restaurant, a laundry service and a limited parking space free of charge for guests. Guests staying here can use the gym and Spa at no additional cost. The rooms have a bathroom, satellite/cable TV, a fully equipped kitchenette, tea/coffee making facilities and a balcony or terrace. The superior Junior Suites have a hot tub on the terrace. *The hotel may charge a tourist tax at check-in per person per night and will be applied to all people staying in tourist accommodation in the municipality of Mogan, regardless of age or place of residence.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Good location, not far of Commercial Centre where most of the restaurants/ pubs are. If you struggle to walk down the steps the taxis are cheap enough. Rooms are massive and has everything in you need. The balcony has plenty of space for 2 sunbeds and a jacuzzi. Cleaners did a great deal cleaning the room everyday. The safe in the room is free. There is enough at breakfast for you to choose from. No issue with sunbeds round the pool. Plenty to use. All staff at the pool bar are friendly and helpful. The roof top terrace where you can go up for a drink at night is great. No problem in coming back to this place. Thank you.
Stayed at CASABLANCA for a week in early September, me and my partner (30s), B&B with a junior suite and whirl poor on a very large balcony.
So location is ideal for most things, bars, restaurants and shops all nearby within a 5/10 min walk - there is shop at the hotel entrance and also another 1 min walk. Beach is around 20 min walk. Hotel balconies all face towards the centre of puerto rico so the views are amazing but the sun doesn't reach the balconies until 1/2pm (depending what size) & the noise from the bars are quite loud in the late night. Only thing to note is the stairs between hotel and amenities, could be a struggle if you have some health issues etc but taxi up or down will cost you roughly €4.
Atmosphere of the hotel is very chilled, little entertainment but they do yoga, pilaties in the mornings around 10am on the terrace. No music around the pool or terrace but again just a quiet, chilled vibe all day. Beds on the terrace were plenty and you get the sun from morning to night - beds around the pool get snapped up quite quick but there is an extra space the other side with more beds however we found ourselves on the balcony bathing most days. Breakfast was good, good selection and good quality nothing too fancy but something for everyone, never tried lunch or dinner as we ate out. My partner made use of the spa discount and got a massage and said it was very good.
Room was a junior suite with large balcony - whirlpool also, so our balcony was great, plenty of space for 2 beds to move around and follow the sun, umbrella also. Table and chairs are provided and the whirl pool tucked in the corner out of sight from rooms above however the smaller balconies below and the whirlpools are in view if you want privacy choose large balcony. Room itself was great, comfy beds, nice bathroom, kitchenette and air-con was a lifesaver but did get a sore throat during the week so would advise turning it off before sleeping. Had robes and slippers on arrival. TV with a few english channels but we never used it. Room was spotless, very clean after maid visit also however did get a few pigeons on the balcony each day/night.
Staff were friendly, maids were good nothing was too much trouble but again they just carry on with there duties unless you need them.
Value of this hotel is very good, all in for 2 we were £935 for the hotel so if you are looking for a week away in a chilled, decent adults only hotel and dont mind climbing stairs or paying for the taxis id highly recommend this one 100%.

All the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. A special mention to Cathy and Aiona who were extremely helpful to us. The rooms were clean and we had a fantastic view. We would highly recommend the hotel. We have stayed there 2 years on the trot.
I just wanted to start off by saying this hotel is beautiful, clean and staff are all lovely.
I feel as though there are some improvements that could be made throughout the hotel:
We booked the Junior Suite Superior room on a high floor which had its own jacuzzi bath. It would be lovely to make it more superior by replacing the two single mattress for a double mattress. As a couple we felt as though this would have made the room more ‘superior’. We also couldn’t use the jets on the jacuzzi bath as it had not been cleaned out and it started throwing out dirt and all kinds of things which was a disappointment.
We felt as though the pool was lacking a little bit of music. It was very boring. Even to play a bit of relaxing music would have been lovely! And my god those sunbeds by the pool was so uncomfortable.
The spa added a nice touch onto the hotel we enjoyed this 3 times on our stay.
We were bed and breakfast and only went down twice as we felt like the food was not at all. Even under the hot lamp but we enjoyed making our own omelette.
Overall I would say this was an average stay due to some parts I would personally of liked. It’s very close to the centre (if you can handle stairs) which is was perfect for us on the evenings.
