We had a one week holiday at Santa Monica Suites with our 2 + 1 family (a 14 y old boy with us). The hotel is situated beautifully  just at the dunes, close to the sea and still close to a shopping centre and restaurants. The hotel is very tidy and rooms are reasonably big allowing a decent extra bed to be made from the sofa. We had a 3rd floor room which gives a beautiful sea view from the balcony. The 1-2 floors have a garden view. I can recommend the seaview because it gives a stunning view over the dunes. Breakfast is very good, a lot of high quality ingredients available incl. fresh real orange juice, cava, Actimel yoghurt, omelette chef station etc. We used the dinner buffet also many times and found out it being very good with a reasonable price of 22 eur / person. They varied the dinner theme every day (BBQ, Mexican, Asian, Italian...). All the staff were very friendly and professional. Housekeeping did an excellent work keeping all places 100% clean despite of the sandstorm we faced on one day. The pool is large and good for real swimming. Sunbeds were always available and reservation was not needed. There was live music in the evenings at the pool side restaurant. The customers were mostly from middle age to elderly people. This hotel is not the best choice for families with small children. I was so happy to see that ball games and inflatable toys were not allowed in the pool. We want to go back - this might be the best hotel in Playa del Ingles!

Amazing hotel at the dunes

Same procedure like any year, I could copy paste the same review each year. Best hotel, best staff, best location. There is absolutely nothing to complain about except the WiFi - really - drives me nuts. However, since I am on vacations I can handle that one, but some room for improvement for sure. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beds really cozy, the room-cleaning perfect and fast and the staff in General absolutely friendly. Already at check-in you get a very warm Welcome with a glas of Cava - perfect investment to make this hotel special. The breakfast is outstanding. A broad choice of everything you expect. I ate much worse at five star rated luxury hotels for more money! The buffet in the evening for dinner ist okay, exactly what you can expect for buffet I would rate. That hotel is simply perfect. See you next year again!

We love this hotel!

Just returned from a perfect weeks stay at Santa Monica suites, it was just perfect, we arrived before our check in time and received a very warm welcome, was so surprised with an upgrade to a room on floor 5 which was just breathtaking, it was like looking at a picture of the sea and dunes. The room was clean, fresh and so big, bathroom was also amazing with the best shower I’d ever used. We used the gates on the corners of terrace to access bars and restaurants also to get to the beach. Despite the hotel being full the pool area was also tranquil and sun loungers readily available. Staff were friendly, attentive and the breakfast catered for everyone’s needs. We enjoyed this hotel so much we are going back next year, excellent value for money.

Just perfect

It was our first stay at this hotel and it was just perfect. The hotel is located at the edge of the dunes and a 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants. We had a garden terrace room on the ground floor. The room was large, modern and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also large and fully equipped with a robe, slippers and toiletries. The room had a separate lounge area with large tv showing the main UK channels, plus coffee and tea making facilities, fridge and a safe. The pool area was spacious with plenty of available sunbeds and complimentary pool towels. The breakfast covered all tastes with plenty of fresh produce. We used the bar most nights. It was quite a small area and the seats were often occupied. The outside bar was not open in the winter. The pricing was reasonable for a hotel bar. The hotel itself was just perfect, however the staff, whether they be housekeeping, restaurant, bar or reception staff were excellent. The only small issue we encountered was a hit and miss wifi signal. We will definitely be returning.

Hotel Just Perfect

Great hotel, very quite, friendly staff. Cleaning can be a bit better because there where many hairs on the floor.

Lovely pool with more then enough sunbeds. 
Breakfast wow what a lovely beginning off the day. Even a sparkling wine is presented.

We will come back!
