This beach hotel is situated in the tourist centre, around 1.5 km from the local sandy beach, Playa del Inglés. Gran Canaria Airport is approximately 30 minutes by car. Within walking distance, guests will find a great shopping centre with entertainment opportunities. The nearest public transport stop is in the near vicinity. There is also a big range of bars, pubs and restaurants in the near surroundings. This holiday hotel complex, housed in a 9-storey main building and an 8-storey annexed block offering modern rooms, fully equipped to ensure a pleasant stay with maximum comfort. This is a great place to spend a few days with the family as it counts with two children's pools and an entertainment programme for adults and children.
Dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools or enjoy other recreational amenities, which include a fitness centre. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge). Getting to the surf and sand is a breeze with the complimentary beach shuttle.
Food rubbish same thing every day music to loud entertainment staff could start early not at 11 am cushions on chairs in bar
Arrival experience was super friendly and nice. The look of the hotel on the outside is well maintained and pleasant. This is where it stops.
Room The aircon did not cool the room despite mentioning this twice is was not fixed and we were not offered alternate. The shower pressure was terrible and not a great shower pressure experience Beds were comfortable. However one dirty pillow case was not replaced after cleaning. Bar and Pool The bar area is lovely and the drink selection is great. However did not use the pool as used the free bus service to beach Breakfast Budget level food. Not bad but no comparable to other hotels in this hotel class
It really needs some maintenance
Lovely holiday! There were some big positives with this hotel such as the cleanliness in some areas and lovely staff! Lovely time of the year to visit this, no sun bed wars! However, we did spot cockroaches around the family pool, one during the day and then a few in the evening and the upstairs pool floor is starting to come off and some of it was actually floating in the pool!
Everything is great except for the SOS men who consistently walk around your sun beds when you are trying to relax. One in particular was very intimidating looking over on to girls laying on their beds and at one point was seen videoing girls in the pool. You were made to feel like you were under surveillance when you are supposed to be relaxing on your holiday. He was purposefully looking at the younger people and instead of paying attention to pool safety, they march around the sunbeds all day trying their hardest to find people vaping on their sun bed - coming up behind people, looking over their beds etc.
Just returned from a 9 night stay at this hotel and I wanted to give a honest review. The hotel overall is very nice clean and the grounds are well maintained. Rooms are modern and always kept clean and very comfortable beds. Entertainment in the evening is located up the stairs by the family pool if you want it or you can stay by the bar at the below pool area but it gets very busy later in the evening. Breakfast is fine and always plenty to eat but hot food can be cold as with alot of buffet food. Snacks in the snack bar is also fine. However evening dinner not great and food at times cold and undercooked so be mindful of checking. Also with themed nights every night unfortunately we chose to eat out as lots of fish and meat hard and like I said at times undercooked and not very warm. Overall a lovely hotel but updating is needed in hallways and new carpet as looks tired and working on food is a must and the family pool needs attention as the flooring is coming away as its concrete and can cause minor injuries due to rough uneven surfaces
