This beach hotel enjoys an ideal setting on the warm, friendly island of Gran Canaria. The hotel is located just 900 metres from the beach yet is also centrally situated at the heart of the entertainment. The Aguila Roja shopping centre is a mere 100 metres from the hotel, while the Kasbah shopping centre is just 300 metres away. The property offers ease of access to the public transport network with links located just 300 metres away. The airport can be reached within a 20-minute car ride. The guest rooms are beautifully decorated featuring neutral and muted tones, offering a haven of comfort and convenience. The hotel lies peacefully amidst pleasant gardens and greets guests with an air of warmth and serenity. Guests can spend the day by the pool or having a refreshing swim.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Spent a week here with teenage son. There was no warm welcome from the reception on arrival and we were left standing whilst three staff busied themselves with something else. The pool towels are a €20 deposit to hire and then a sign says a €1 charge to change them, so take your own. The room near the adults area was spacious and pleasantly decorated with small bottles of welcome wine and one carton of water on arrival, not replaced. The adults only area is quiet and relaxing but the hot tub is the size of a bucket and a small pool would be nice. The main pool areas are very crowded, so don’t expect to be able to swim if that’s what you enjoy. The tiles are coming off in the pool, but someone popped a handy plate next to the steps to collect the broken ones. The ‘holiday pool’ has activities on from 11am and the shouting into the microphones can get quite loud, so no opportunities for a sunbed snooze. Also, don’t leave your towel and go for breakfast, as you’ll return to a warning letter…although this is not consistently applied as all the other unattended sun beds, left for hours at times never got one! The buffet has themed nights and the choice is reasonable. My tour operator (easyJet) said there is an a la carte restaurant (Mediterranean and local cuisine, reservation required). One of the reasons I chose this hotel as it’s nice to have a change from a buffet every night! When I couldn’t find this the hotel advised ‘It is located within our restaurant and must be booked 72 hours in advance; however, this service is not included and incurs an additional charge.’ Not what I expected. It’s a 10/15 minute walk to the beach and the hotel offers a bus service, there’s a couple of shopping centres nearby some are a bit more run down. Overall, a reasonable hotel just a bit crowded for my liking.
Best all inclusive, staff friendly and highly helpful, cannot fault room cleaning and so much fun for the kids would definitely return. Rooms are a bit tired but very clean
Speciale waardering naar Naserq & Carolina. The are the best! Best food best service I would recommend everybody. Love the paella
Just back from 10 nights. We got room 289 right in the corner facing the back over 18s end with trees right outside our balcony. At first we thought we always get a bad room but tbf we where glad of it as it was quiet and we where able to leave our balcony door open all the time. Rooms were very spacious beds so comfy but pillows where just too high for us. Only 1 English channel on tv(luckily movies) i know most people dont go to watch TV but my hubby enjoys a midday lie down with tv. Food was great no complaints. Drink was usual, good beer but cocktails out of machine so need extra liquor. Main pool with entertainment, never able to get a bed as not a lot of beds and all gone really early. Night entertainment hit and miss, mostly good as all inclusive goes but over way too early (10.20pm) bar closed at 11.30pm. Upstairs bar open to 1am but payable. Location good, bars just round the corner. Lovely irish bar mulligans, great food. Don't expect cheap booze or food anywhere, gran canaria mostly same price as Belfast. Definitelygo to see show sala scala, sioux city and go into puerto rico, about 25 min bus journey but worth a visit as shopping great.
Been here a few times and always a goof experience. Waaaay too many loud kids though, so be prepared, but thats not a hotels fault.
