This beach hotel enjoys an ideal setting on the warm, friendly island of Gran Canaria. The hotel is located just 900 metres from the beach yet is also centrally situated at the heart of the entertainment. The Aguila Roja shopping centre is a mere 100 metres from the hotel, while the Kasbah shopping centre is just 300 metres away. The property offers ease of access to the public transport network with links located just 300 metres away. The airport can be reached within a 20-minute car ride. The guest rooms are beautifully decorated featuring neutral and muted tones, offering a haven of comfort and convenience. The hotel lies peacefully amidst pleasant gardens and greets guests with an air of warmth and serenity. Guests can spend the day by the pool or having a refreshing swim.
Take in the views from a terrace and a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless Internet access. This hotel also features an arcade/games room, a banquet hall and a vending machine.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The Abora Buenaventura is a lovely hotel had a great time the staff were all very friendly & always happy to help. The Animation team for both Adults & Children were excellent so energetic and engaging. Would absolutely recommend this Hotel and will return myself.
Just returned home after a week at this hotel. Massive hotel, location is quite central close to the bars and about 20 minute to the beach. If you struggle with walking ask for a room close to the main entrance. We were in room 504 low numbers at the far end of the hotel quite a bit of walking. Food is edible, but repetitive every day, if you like chips, pork and beef you will be fine. Staff pleasant not many staff can speak english especially in the restaurant. No problem getting a sunbed. Entertainment not very good and not much english. Be aware in the bar you will get accused of jumping the queue by one male member of staff. We saw this staff on Saturday and Sunday. Would not rate it as a 4 star hotel.
I haven't flown in 17 years and I had the best time on my trip with my family the only thing I would say I would like to spend longer for the same price just an extra day on my next visit i will bring my whole family. I can't wait to come back. Absolutely fabulous.
Overall, a good hotel with spacious rooms and very good food with lots of variety. The hotel is extremely large and easy to get lost in. We were travelling with elderly family members whose room was initially very far from reception, so we had to request a closer room. After a lot of persuasion, they were moved two days later.
Most staff were very helpful, although unfortunately two members of staff in the bar were quite rude and spoilt the last day of our holiday.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but better consideration of room locations for elderly guests would have made the experience much better.
Meant to be a 4* hotel was more like a 2 or 3 food was terrible cold most days and nearly the same each day the kids were upset as they didn’t like the food. Had to pay extra for some things even though we were all inclusive didn’t see anyone clean the pools and they looked murky, iv had a few holidays and this one was definitely the worst out of them which is a shame they just don’t seem to care about their customers especially their health. Book somewhere cleaner with better food and don’t waste your money here.
