Large and comfortable bungalows where the family can enjoy all the amenities of an excellent resting place, tree-lined gardens for long walks, as well as the outdoor pool area that adapts to the winter season, so guests never stop enjoying a dip. The spa center is conditioned for relaxation and well-being, with trained staff and adequate equipment, in addition to sports areas where exercise can be done outdoors or in the gym. Near the hotel is conveniently the Shopping Center less than a kilometer away, where it is posible to access to the restaurants of typical or international food, enjoy bars and nightclubs to live lovely nights in Gran Canaria.
We had a wonderful time at HD Parque Cristobal in Gran Canaria. We stayed here for 10 nights. The bungalow was spacious and cosy, and cleaned daily apart from Sunday ( rightly so!) even on days when we didn't need cleaning. The food was great, as in any all inclusive holidays some dishes were nicer than others, but that is down to individual preference. I read a comment in which someone complained how they hated Mexican night - it was our favourite night actually and we thought the food was delicious. There was always something we enjoyed to eat, massive selection in salad bar, cheese board, desserts were a bit disappointing but we don't have a sweet tooth anyway. All staff works very hard and everyone was super friendly - reception, animation team, cleaners, bar tenders, waiters, lifeguards. Cocktails on all inclusive option were not he most exciting, but pina colada was worth extra 8 euros. Wine and beer on tap and never had to queue. Any issues were sorted promptly ( we had a blocked shower drain and it was fixed within ours). Overall the hotel is lovely, spacious, the kids loved kids pool. People reserve deckchairs by putting their towels on, which is not supposed to be done, but it wasn't real issue as there were enough deckchairs every day even in the afternoon - you just had to sit further away from the pool. We had lovely time, and would like to thank all staff for all their hard work. Hopefully we will get to go back one day.
Overall, a gorgeous hotel with many amazing facilities and things to do. The hotel itself is location in a quieter area of Gran Canaria but with only a couple of nightlife options nearby. The beach itself is around a 30 minute walk, however the hotel had multiple buses that pick you up at the hotel for free and drop you off at the beach at many different times of the day, which was amazing.
The bungalows were just perfect and always cleaned thoroughly. It was very spacious with a large bedroom, bathroom, living room and joint kitchen - it was just like a mini apartment. The aircon within the bungalows was brilliant and controlled with a mini remote. The bungalows also had a mini terrance with sun beds, a table and deckchairs which was a nice add on. I would definitely recommend upgrading / choosing the bun
All the staff were very polite and helpful, particularly the restaurant staff. The food was nice (especially breakfast) and there were always many different options each night.
All the facilities in the hotel were great! The main pool was huge and always had many sunbeds available (and there were no “sunbed wars” thankfully). There were many added touches like a mini garden, a zip line and many things / activities for children.
However, our only issue was all the screaming children. I understand that this is a family hotel and that this is not the hotels fault, but the amount of children (even older children) who were running around the buffet alone and knocking into people, screaming and throwing tantrums, and crying all the time, while parents did absolutely nothing was insane.
My family and I stayed here for 7 nights from the 3rd to the 10th. We stayed by the kids pool area which was a lovely touch as my child is 8. The walk down from the reception to the kids pool is magical and is what we’re thinking about and missing the most. The grounds around the hotel are immaculately kept. As is everywhere around the hotel. The 2 bed bungalow we were in was spacious and had excellent aircon. We received a warm welcome upon arrival. We initially went self catering but soon realised and advised by staff that it would be best for us to upgrade to all inclusive which we did, and we are so glad that we did the food was beautiful couldn’t fault anything about it during our stay. The entertainment staff are simply fantastic and have really special and caring personalities, they really put their all in to the entertainment and all of us loved it including my 8 year old. This is a real family oriented hotel and we’re so happy to have found it, so much so that we have already booked again to go back next year but for 10 nights and we’ll be counting down the months. Plenty of space by the pool. A very nice, large bungalow. No queues at the bar. Very friendly and pleasant staff—especially Erika. Good food. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, and there are many families with small children. But overall, we are happy because there is a Superdino on the hotel grounds.
We had a great holiday at this hotel. The bungalows are located in lovely, well kept grounds and everything feels easily accessible. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and clean. The rooms are well spaced giving good privacy. There are two very fussy eaters in our family and they managed to find something to eat every day, I thought the food was good.👍 I loved the pool, it was a great temperature for walking straight into when its hot. My only suggestion for an improvement would be more seating in the evening at the outdoor bar. There is insufficient seats and no option to sit away from the music to talk, play cards with older kids. The hotel suggested the downstairs bar, however drinks are not included and we don't want to sit indoors on holiday. We also travelled with a younger child and she loved the entertainment day and night.
