Not one of the best hotels I have visited, I have no positives. Reception staff, bar staff unfriendly, room overlooking noisy air con generator which is pointless putting a table and chairs on balcony could not sit outside because of noise. Food same everyday no variety, desserts section poor. One choice of beer san maquel the spirits tasteless could not drink them. Overall would never stay at this hotel again. No response from manager about my feeback regarding their apologies as most feedback are saying the same.
Enjoyed my first stay in Gran Canaria. Stayed at Gran Canaria princess. Atmosphere was great. Room was ok.value was good. Only downside was that the pool bar was only for fully inclusive plus holders.
This hotel is located near bars, restaurants and shops. It has a bus stop and a taxi stance just outside the hotel. Supermarkets near by. The market is on a Wednesday and Saturday is just 10 mins walk away next to the irish centre. Staff are friendly. Rooms are spacious. They have air con which help as it was really hot when we were there. It helped having a small fridge in the room. Hotel is value you money. No extra costs for pool towels as they are supplied, also to hire the safe is free.Hotel was spotless. We were told about the work that was going on at the hotel in advance but it didn't affect us. As it was at the front of the hotel. The entertainment finishes early. Some finished at 10.30pm. There was pizzas that you could get at the snck bar at lunch time but they weren't any pizzas in the restaurant at lunchtime.
I am staying at the hotel nexdoor and The Princess Hotel has ruined evey single evening with their endless and absolutely ridiculously LOUD live music. Every night someone singing, droning on until 11.30 and the volume, frankly, is completely absurd. If we have it wrattling through our walls here, I can only imagine how horendous it is there. I am all for a good time, but the same mundane noise every night and at full volume. I will never consider booking that hotel. Complete joke and no consideration for their guests or neighbouring hotels!! Our hotel is lovely and very considerate. Get a clue! People want to relax...
Superb hotel, friendly helpful staff, rooms are spacious and clean, the food is tasty and well presented with something for everyone. Lots of room around the pool in the daytime and the entertainment at night is great. Returning in December for some winter sun. Very happy
