This was my 4th visit and 2nd this year.. great hotel, super staff with smiles all round.. super handy for the Yumbo (nice walk to ease the potential hangover) and the crown ow like a beacon..
Third year at this hotel and it is excellent value. Clean, nice rooms, good choice of food and drinks, entertainment good. Maybe not all four star. But for what you pay it’s good. And being adults only is a major plus. Reception staff, housekeeping staff, pool staff, majority of restaurant staff friendly, polite and pleasant. Main bar staff varied - young ones and women lovely, older men grumpy, rude, no customer service and appear homophobic. Really let the hotel down. And it’s been the same every year. Lots of other guests agreed with us about the shortcomings of the bar staff. But we didn’t let it spoil our stay. Highly recommend this hotel!!!
The hotel was amazing from the start! Brilliant atmosphere with amazing service. The reception, bar and general hotel staff were helpful and talkative, will definatley come again.
This was our first holiday to Gran Canaria and the hotel Gran Canaria Princess. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Our room was on the fifth floor, facing the opposite hotel/pool area. Our holiday was booked with easyJet holidays, everything was seemless. All inclusive is definitely the easiest option. The location is ideal with only a 15 minute walk to the beach. The facilities at the hotel are excellent. The Blue Bar was well attended and the staff handled the busy times very well. Everything very clean and tidy. The staff are constantly keeping on the go. We enjoyed the evening entertainment. A good variety of acts which many people enjoyed the evenings. The room was spacious, clean and tidy which contained the expected items, TV, mini fridge, kettle, tea/coffee etc. A generous sliding wardrobe with a safe are also catered for. The tiled bathroom was very good. A nice walk-in shower, hand basin and toilet. A hairdrier was also available to use. Clean towels daily. During our stay there was some maintainance taking place, this went on mainly un-noticed. The main restaurant is big well catered for all, even the fussiest of eaters! There's also a nice outside dining area too. Outside, there's lovely pools, a wellness centre and smaller restaurant/bar/dining area. I can only write praise to the hotel and staff as we enjoyed our stay. I would also like to stay in the other Princess hotels in other locations. Go on, give it a try!
