We stayed at Cordial Biarritz in May of 2026 for 9 nights and had a wonderful stay!
The staff are super friendly and welcoming, bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. We didn’t have a proper meal but other travelers did and it always looked really nice. Chips were fab! Our room was a lot bigger than we expected, great kitchen well stocked for a self catering holiday with all you’ll need. Bonus was the drying area outside the kitchen door. Lovely patio with your own loungers if you don’t fancy the pool. There’s a safe in the bedroom (no extra charge) and TV in both bedroom and living area. Rooms are cleaned to a high standard and fresh towels and bed linen every day. Reception staff are helpful if you need any extra towels/toilet roll, etc. We had a later flight home but there is a changing room facility by the gym with showers and reception supplied us with fresh towels so we could freshen up after a pool day before our transfer arrived. I think our only negative and reasoning for lack of 5 stars would be the pool - there’s so many loungers and no need to reserve them, the pool itself is a great size and not just a deep end, perfect for families with small kids. However, I’m unsure if it was cleaned during our stay and had lots of leaves particularly at one end of the pool. Apart from that, we had a fantastic time for our first stay in Playa de Ingles. It’s a great location, just a 5 min walk from The Yumbo and around 15 mins from the beach - definitely worth a visit and only 7,50€ for 2 loungers and an umbrella. Lots of good bars down the beach too. Thank you for having us, we’d love to return again!
Tips: We upgraded our room during booking to ensure we had air con - definitely a must even in May the room got very hot with highs of 28 degrees. The SuperDino supermarket is literally a 2 min walk and supplies you with anything you may need for a self catering holiday at decent prices. The Yumbo may get a bad rap but honestly made our holiday - there’s so many lovely restaurants decently priced with friendly servers, and Sparkles is a must visit for a night of entertainment. Do not attempt a dinner at Wapa Tapa - the marketing and good reviews drew us in but the food is poor and extortionate, and made one of us sick. But do try Namaste - best Indian we’ve ever had! Tropical is cheap and cheerful, friendly staff and does a mean (and very cheap) breakfast. And Gio’s does lovely food and a great sangria, it’s also the prime spot for people watching.
Location great. Central for everything. Even the bus service is a one minute walk. Staff are all so friendly and helpful. We couldn’t fault our bungalow. Air con was fantastic and very welcoming to come back to after a day out. I would definitely stay here again
We were a couple booked a superior 1 bedroom this is essential for free WiFi and great air-conditioning.ground are full of trees.no need for parasols jacuzzi was fab.loungers available all the time.all in all a great stay clean rooms every day.if they were not cleaning on say a saturday they leave you a note the dat before.veey clean everywere.well done cleaning staff.wr would go back again.easy walk to beach.easy everywere.
We stayed here for 2 weeks early July and had the most amazing fantastic time. Clean gorgeous beautiful place. The pool is lovely the food is lovely the staff are so helpful the rooms are so clean. I would like to mention how nice kind and helpful the lady called Cecilia who checked us in when we arrived and was so helpful throughout our stay. The reception are so kind and helpful but Cecilia really made our holiday better for all the family.
This was our second holiday here.... we came last August and we never go to the same place twice, that's how much we love it! It's a beautiful site with lush grass, trees, beautiful plants and flowers. It's peaceful yet so close to the beach, a 10 min leisurely walk, the restaurants and the Yumbo. Superdino supermarket round the corner, bus stops outside to go all over the place (we went to Aqualand, Las Palmas and Mogan via the bus, easy!). The breakfast buffet is great, the bar serves all the drinks and snacks we needed during the day, all with lovely staff. The reception staff were always helpful (just ask if you need something...eg, the beds are initially made up as singles, they very quickly make them up to be a double if that's what you need. We wanted to be closer to the other group of our family so they moved us as soon as they could. Don't moan, just ask!). The reception area and communal facilities feel very new. There's a great gym and a kids playground. Everywhere is super clean. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is brilliant. We have stayed in 3 different bungalows and they're all identical.... same comfy beds, perfect showers, plus everything you need in the kitchen to cook (no oven though, just hobs and microwave), an area outside the kitchen to wash off and hang your swimwear, a little terrace and lawn to sit with table, chairs and sunbeds. There's an easy to use laundry on site if you're staying a while, detergent provided! The pool is gorgeous. Lots of little areas as it winds around the complex, so you never feel on top of each other. Always enough sunbeds, lots of space, shade under the trees if you need it. I can't understand why this beautiful place is listed as only 3 star. Maybe it's because the bungalows aren't super swish but honestly, they are lovely, very clean, have wifi, 2 TVs inc one in the bedroom, many extras in the bathroom such as shower gel, and you don't spend lots of time in them anyway! If I had the time and money I think I'd come here every year as long as I could go to new places too! Gran Canaria has a lovely feel about it and lots to explore.... trips to the mountains, Sunday markets in San Mateo and Teror, other towns as mentioned above, the dunes, the glorious beaches. Playa del Ingles was a great base to explore from and I will be eternally grateful we discovered Cordial Biarritz Bungalows! 🙏
