The Abora Continental by Lopesan Hotels is highly recommended for those who want the sea close-by and a comfortable setting. Of particular note are the panoramic views of the mountain, of the garden and of the swimming pool. The 383 rooms offer customers a functional and pleasant environment. It has everything parents need to rest and to entertain young children. During the warmer months of the year, guests can use the outdoor swimming pools.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Had such an amazing stay at Abora Continental Hotel with friends! From start to finish, we had a brilliant time. The hotel had a great atmosphere, the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Samuele, Andrea and Lucka who made us feel so welcome, and everything was clean and well looked after.
There was a great choice of food and drinks, and we especially loved the pool and entertainment. It was the perfect place to relax during the day and have fun with friends in the evenings.
The location was also great, with plenty of things to do nearby and easy access to the beach.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would definitely come back! Highly recommend Abora Continental for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing holiday with friends. 💕☀️🍹
Wasn’t told about hotel refurbishment construction only found out when we got there. Asked to change rooms. You would have thought I had asked for their back teeth. Food ok. And yes I know the star rating. For this hotel but I got better treatment for the same star last year. Pools look really big. There not. Flood damage on 7th floor ceiling. And now the lights do not work. The cleaning team are amazing from the rooms to the window cleaners. They make the holiday more so than the reception staff. So very clean but walls carpets need love. But the cleaners and house keeping never stopped working.
Why people would put a negative review for this hotel is beyond me. All staff work very hard, they are polite and friendly . Hotel is kept clean and the cleaning of our room was a high standard Overall our first time experience of this hotel was excellent. As a smoker I understand there has to be a designated area but we would suggest that the main entrance is not the best place for people to congregate. Does not give a good first impression walking through a cloud of smoke. Perhaps an area in the hotel carpark would be better suited.
Second time at this hotel which we did enjoy. The location is great, short taxi ride to Yumbo centre at night. Staff were pleasant, room cleaned regularly. Good size pool. We did have a couple of negatives this year, the food was a bit repetitive, we were a bit fed up of pork or chicken after 10 days so we ate out a few times. If we weren't lucky enough to get a seat outside for entertainment in the evening you had to stand somewhere or basically miss out. Not enough seating to cater for all the guests. If you couldn't get a sunbed not enough seating outside the pool bar either. Last moan having to walk past everyone smoking at the entrance of the hotel is disgusting for a non smoker that can not stand the smell. Having said that we had a good holiday but will probably try somewhere else next year.
