Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort & Thalasso is located on the seafront, in the south of the island of Gran Canaria, between the Maspalomas dunes nature reserve and Pasito Blanco sports marina.
The hotel includes a total of 561 rooms, 521 of which are double rooms and five of which are adapted for guests with limited mobility. The hotel also offers 40 suites. Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort has four fantastic restaurants offering dishes of an excellent and exclusive cuisine. Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 6 outdoor swimming pools, a health club and an outdoor tennis court. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
The hotel, staff and facilities were very good. We went premium half board meaning we had access to 5 different restaurants for dinner. We tried all the restaurants and all were very good.
Not our first visit & not our last! We stayed in a junior Suite which was a high floor with a lovely view over pool area & open sea view. Room had two rooms, bed & living area. Balcony had table & four chairs but no day beds. But sun didn’t really get in so they would not have being of any use for bathing if you wanted a day away from pool area. The room comes with the Unique package. It gives you free private transfer from airport both ways. ( You need to book by e mail in advance of stay) Breakfast in plaza that is made to order. Two hour in Spa on day of choosing. Water on a daily basis. (Big Plus) Snacks & wines beer minerals in room off plaza area. ( Which offerings had improved on last year) Area cornered off pool area with day beds with cushioned tops. Daily offerings of smoothies fruit & iced coffee along with flavoured water & fruit always available. (I will say staff did police bed hogging well, no towels were allowed out & left before 10.30am which stopped the usual dawn brigade) Overall for us it is worth it! I was saddened to see the ladies boutique had closed in the plaza area & nothing had replaced its unit & that the second other two units also remained empty.? I really think a small shop with water & basic supplies could do really good here. Even a phone repair shop etc? Wi do worked perfect throughout our stay. Shops are not far but carrying large water bottles back can prove hard on hot days.
Staff all over hotel from check in to pool bars to room service staff & of course daily cleaners were all welcoming & courteous. We really had no problems at all & found hotel spotless with pools cleaner on last years visit. (They do need some repair still)
We never noticed the construction going on or heard any of it. Can’t wait to see what is to come & looking forward already to next years visit. Thank you Vill Del Conde & all the staff for another relaxing enjoyable holiday. Till next visit xx .
Stunning hotel. We first visited 8 years ago and so glad we decided to stay again. Clean rooms, beautiful breakfast, lots of pools and friendly staff. Ideal location.
I am currently on holiday at the Ville del Conde hotel and I have to say it’s been perfect. I cannot fault this hotel. Having previously stayed twice at Lopesan Melonares, I was concerned that I may be disappointed here but I can honestly say that this hotel has lived up to my expectations. Good food, great room, excellent service and enjoyable entertainment. I will be returning
After reading the reviews I sometimes feel I stayed at a different hotel. There is definitely a lack of customer service throughout my stay. On arrival, especially at the reception desk after 9pm, I feel that someone should at least escort (or offer) to take you to the room, as the resort is huge, and I spent half hour attempting to navigate the tiny map that I was handed. I chose to book B&B. Please note I am a solo traveller. I took the dinner buffet option as I had arrived late, and I feel that at 40 euros per head this is not reflective in the quality and choice (or was it due to me arriving late?) - It is far more reasonable to eat out of the resort in the many choice of restaurants. The music entertainment was great the first evening, but my taste thereafter in the entertainment presented was definitely not aligned. One afternoon, whilst in the bathroom a man walked into my room, and I shouted for him to get out - he was coming to replace tea and coffee - I hadn't been there for 24 hours - Was this my fault for not locking the door? When reported to the reception, face to face, the male thought it was funny. I reminded him that this is unacceptable and if someone comes into the room, not to attempt a conversation whilst a woman is in the bathroom ! Customer service, is far better with the ladies, and you can see they work hard, make of the rest as you wish. Whilst on the face of it, this resort is more for families and children, this is definitely not for a female solo traveller.
