Just returned from a 7 day half board stay via Jet2 holidays.

The food is delicious with a variety of choice at breakfast and evening meal. The restaurant staff are so friendly and work incredibly hard to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience.

The communal facilities are good and clean with the pool checked at least 3 times a day for quality and safety.

All staff that we came into contact with were friendly from cleaners, maintenance and lifeguards.

They offer activities for children 5 days a week and evening entertainment every night apart from Saturday. This is mainly tribute acts.

12 euro to hire the safe in the room with a 12 euro deposit which is reasonable along with a reasonably priced mini supermarket.

The room was clean and the cleaner attends everyday apart from Sundays and Wednesdays but didn’t always change the towels only to empty the bin. Some of the furnishing could be refreshed such as the net curtains being stained and grubby. We had 3 clean sets of towels during our stay.

Jet2 stated that a hotel is being built opposite which it is and is in the early stage of breaking the ground, drilling the rock and concrete for the foundations. The construction work is Monday to Friday and starts at about 9ish through to 6ish with a few hours break in the afternoon.

Also Jet2 should make customers aware that at evening meal drinks aren’t provided and these have to purchased. These are reasonably priced.

Check out is at 12 noon and with a night flight we were able to put our cases in a designated room at reception and use the showers in the gym.

Would I go again? definitely and also half board most definitely. Outside of the hotel restaurant options are limited and expensive along with the height of holiday season you would struggle to get a table unless booked in advance.

Definitely go!!!! from the greeting at reception was so friendly and helpful. the rooms was lush great air con regular cleaner the staff was soooo friendly and lovely Rita the animation was so much fun we won bingo & played crazy golf with her. Thankyou for your time rita such a sweetheart. & the bar staff was great the best cocktails ❤️ paying for water if your half board is a first for us but the food was lush and the service great. we was there when the world cup was on so no night time entertainment just footy we didn’t mind at all as we went out some nights it’s just a short walk down the seafront to the shops bars and restaurants and 9 euro in a taxi to the jumbo centre which is so much fun something for everyone and drinks really cheap on the second floor the food is stunning. we will definitely be back. Only used pool early doors for swim and spent rest of the time on the terrace of our Premium one bedroom apartment. View from main pool and bar area nice. Didn't use bar or eat. Check in was good. Apartment was fine and well laid out. Two beds, comfy chairs and dining table on the terrace. Dining table in kitchen. Bed settee in living room. Large TV, no remote, had BBC1/2 on. Small hob, microwave, small fridge freezer. Apart from occasional hiccup, wi-fi worked well. Apartment faced straight out onto the road which was fine and not too busy. Lacked a bit of privacy. Two biggest problems were the very noisy and dusty building work across the road (see photo). No getting away from it if you want to be at your apartment. Also what I think was a cricket somewhere in the apartment at night. I can sleep but it was so loud and echoing it woke me at least a couple of times a night. You really had to be there but it was bad. Great little supermarket on site. Big supermarket 10 minutes walk. Water cheap enough on site. Had to asked for our included coffee pod machine. Shower very powerful. Good mix of sun and shade on terrace as we each like one. Large safe deposit box 2 euros per day. I’m going 4 stars by recognising our cricket and the building work won’t affect everyone.
