This magnificent hotel enjoys an enviable location in Maspalomas on the southern tip of the picturesque island of Gran Canaria, just 150 metres from a seemingly endless beach. The restaurants serve delights from several cultures and local food. Guests may indulge in treatments on the spa, tone at the gym or have a plunge in one of the sparkling pools or have a drink from the bar, while children may romp for hours at the wading pool.

You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 2 outdoor swimming pools, an outdoor tennis court and a sauna. Have just returned from a weeks stay in this hotel after seeing it on television. It didn’t disappoint the hotel is lovely and we thought the 70s decor was great. Bedroom was really comfortable, well stocked mini bar and turn down service most nights. Our air con wasn’t great but it might just be that the weather was exceptionally hot. The food is incredible, it’s definitely worth going to the two al a carte restaurants, the waiters are very passionate about the food they are serving and what you are eating The main restaurant was also very good in the evening and at lunchtime. If there’s a negative it’s that the bar service was a bit slow at time during the day and in the evening. This hotel is definitely one that we hope to revisit.
We were here last year quite by chance : our haunt for 25+ years, Seaside Los Jameos, let us down at the last minute, but offered us an alternative in Seaside Palm Beach. We were so well looked after that we decided to return here for 15 nights, August/September 2026, and once again enjoyed great hospitality!
This Hotel has just over 300 Rooms (about 200 less than Los Jameos) and as a result, has a considerably more intimate feel to it - with a slightly quirky architectural & interior decor style.
We availed of the (extra charge) transfer option from the Airport, and were warmly and competently welcomed @ Recepcion by Raquel. Our Room on the 4th Floor (overlooking the Main Pool) was comfortable, and I - as someone with a walking disability - welcomed the fact that it had a Walk-in Shower.
On the following 14 days (on a "Todo Incluido" Package) we greatly enjoyed the wonderful Breakfasts, Lunches & Dinners (including 2 nights at the Italian-style "Il Giardino") served by staff who, even with English language difficulties (happily, I've a bit of Espanol & my Wife speaks German fluently) did their best to look after us. [It's only fair to point out that the predominant clientele here is German, followed by Spaniards - those from the UK or Ireland are a definite minority]
A word about the treatment of those with disabilities In general there's a sensitivity, but during our stay, there was one particular ageing Couple with special needs (she in a Wheelchair, he on a walking aid) who, in our eyes, got very mixed treatment : managers were exemplary in giving direct, practical support, as were Porters, Waiters/Waitresses & "Pool People", but a number of those responsible for "Guest Welcoming/Relations" in the Restaurant area were, disgracefully, negligent - and they didn't take kindly to our calling on them to be more supportive.
Our thanks to the staff of Seaside Palm Beach : in particular, we want to applaud my Wife's Fitness Instructor, Stephan, as well as the superb Elizabet in the Restaurant, her colleague Crina + the highly capable Macias in the Lunch area. And Veronica, in her new role, was also very supportive to us.
The Hotel's dedicated General Manager, Nicole, was on holidays for almost all our stay : in her absence, her Deputy, Lelliane, was absolutely superb in looking after us, day-by-day, warmly, patiently & competently : a very warm "Thank-You" Lelliane!

We went half board and stayed in a standard room
Pro’s Quick check in Wonderful staff Breakfast til 11. Half board great -which can swap if you don’t like the dinner menu which is displayed at breakfast Food was fabulous and no canteen vibe at all. BBQ 3 times a week was superb. Adult pool so peaceful (except for the parrots!) Comfy sun beds and although still people “staking their claims”, never had a problem getting a place by the pool Delicious Sangria and reasonably priced Great WiFi that didn’t need logging in every 5 mins
Cons: Rooms are very dated Balcony was small and the view was a tarmac roof😳 No USB’s by bed and limited plugs in awkward places Beds very uncomfortable- even after I asked for a topper. Pillows were flat and useless. Nowhere to hang swimming costumes to dry (except bathroom where they don’t dry!) and told not to put wet items on balcony?! Bathroom very small but functional and the maids kept everything replenished and spotlessly clean. Aircon was brilliant though! Didn’t appreciate the “no talking in the pool” rule- man in red constantly telling people to shush- felt like schoolchildren! But loud water aerobics was fine?!
Would I come back? Sadly not , as waking up to a bad back and having to be a contortionist to plug in an iPad isn’t my idea of fun! Little tweaks could make this hotel my go- to and I have never had food so good in a hotel!
Special mention ( although most of the staff were fantastic) : Malian and Crina served us for lunch and dinner with a smile on their faces and at all times - despite their obviously long hours.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It was last minute and not our first choice as it looked quite high rise in the photos but once you get there it's completely different - definitely not high rise! The location, next to the sand dunes, is perfect. Close enough to the beach and close enough to all the bars and restaurants as well. The rooms are wonderful, we had the coral one. Exceptionally clean, lovely balcony and turn down service. The only problem is the air con, it's not great. The pool areas are really lovely. Big bonus for me was no inflatables! We used the adults only pool and the pool service was excellent, the staff couldn't do enough for you. On one particularly hot day the gentleman working made sure everyone was fully shaded with umbrellas. We also used the outdoor spa which was heavenly. A couple of saunas, a sanrium, salt room and plunge pool. It was well maintained and stocked. The restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast is one of the best. The choice and availability felt unlimited. We were on a half board basis and in the evening it was either a BBQ which, again, the choice and availability matched the quality of the food or à la carte. The à la carte was also had a good selection to choose from. The hotel said we can swap dinner for lunch and so we did this on one day and had pasta at the African Bar. Again, nothing to fault. We also drank far too many cocktails as they were so delicious - particularly the pina coladas! Lastly, the staff. Every person we interacted with were friendly, polite and couldn't do enough for us. I'm not sure if you can tell but we REALLY loved this hotel and will be going back again next year.
The Seaside Palm Beach in Meloneras was brilliant again. Returning guests, now eager to rebook again for our next visit.
