We stayed 27Sep-7 Oct Double standard room 314
Check in - Dealt with straight away lady explained what was required and answered our questions,We were offered a glass of Prosecco.As we arrived at 1300 room was not available however we only had to wait 1 hour Room - 314 Standard Double ,Bedroom and balcony very nice bathroom was a bit tired and small compared to other hotel bathrooms,We had a small bath with shower ,Shower was fine did not use the bath as to small .We had a view off the sea from our balcony thank you.My wife said hairdryer was great good range of bath gel ,conditioner,shampoo etc replaced every day .House keeping was fine and turn down service every evening about 1800 with two small bottles off water given.TV channels multiple if required.Air conditioning worked well Pools - We only used the Relaxation pool ,There are rules you have to be over 14 years old no use off mobile phones to talk around pool and you must speak quietly,If you do not adhere the Pool Service guys will have a word We personally we’re happy with these rules ,There are about 120 sun beds around this pool and customers will start reserving from 0700 when Pool Service guys start ,They will bring you out towels and cushions and make up for you ,All sun beds have umbrella and side table .By 1300 most days this pool area was normally pretty full .The pool is amazing very warm with about 11 different jets best pool we have ever used .We did not use main pool but very big with more sun beds than the relaxation pool ,Also children’s pool . My only issue is smoking is permitted around the main pool and relaxation pool ,New policy comes into effect in 2027 in Spain so changes could be coming around smoking outside Gym - Used ever day from 0730 they had 3 bikes 2 treadmills 1 rower and 2 steps plus good selection off free and fixed weights ,Gym is not AC but was open at the front so felt cool at the time we went , Food - We were Half Board ,Breakfast is from 0800-1100 all table are outside however if weather poor they have big restaurant inside ,Teas Coffees Etc brought to your table eggs cooked at the egg station any way that you require overall Breakfast great experience Lunch 1300 - 1600 You can swap Dinner for a three course lunch ,We did this once and food is ala carte and lovely however only 12 tables so if full you need to eat at the pool bar We would not like that as service did not seem as good but food the same . Dinner 1830- 2200 Were do I start ,They have Three BBQ nights per week Sunday Tuesday and Thursday they are themed either Italian Spanish Asian or Mexican our favourite were the Asian and Mexico slightly disappointed in the Spanish night as the Paella when we were there at 2030 was dry and all seafood was taken off the paella by previous customers.All meat is cooked fresh and so many options if a meat lover ,fish normally four options all cooked to order superb .The other four nights is a set menu three courses that is waiter service plus dessert and cheese you serve yourself .You have to pay for water large bottle 6 euros we had a nice bottle off red wine each evening 35 euros Paco Garcia .You can view the evening meal on hotel website from 0700. each day ,The quality is excellent we eat some food with amazing tastes their chefs must be very skilled thank you.The service was always great plenty off staff helpful knowledgeable and clearly they enjoy there jobs, We are not keen on recommending staff as all were superb however Cassandra whom was at breakfast and dinner to see you to your table was always professional and helpful Overall this is a beautiful charming hotel with amazing food for dinner and great service that is not seen any more ,The hotel exceeded our expectations and we will return in 2027 Thank you Edward and Christine
Excellent location, very close to beach, bars, shops and restaurants. Large clean room with balcony. Lovely surrounds! Food excellent and very easy to relax beside quiet pool area. Staff unbelieveable!!!! Cannot single out anyone as all will go extra mile to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday!! Entertainment was average and found artists at evening meal were better than evening acts.
Excelent allocation and perfect professional services. I have been coming to this hotel since 2011 every year and I hope to come back in future.
My wife and I had once again, a wonderful weeks holiday in Palm Beach. We have enjoyed many holidays in this hotel and it just simply gets better each time and we cannot wait to go back again in 2027. The hotel is located beside the gorgeous Maspalomas beach and sand dunes. Every aspect of the hotel excels and certainly meets and exceeds everything one would expect in a five star hotel. From the initial welcome on arrival to the restaurants and the quality of the food, bars, entertainment, leisure facilities, accommodation etc, one feels just at home from the moment one arrives. It is an understatement to say that absolutely every member of staff just cannot do enough for you in order to ensure that you have a holiday that you will never forget.
Lovely hotel,on the whole staff were friendly & helpful, especially the pool guys & the staff at the bar Africa, especially Leo! Check in was quick but sadly no upgrade was offered & no welcome drinks even though we had to wait a couple of hours for our room to be ready! The food was good, especially the breakfast. On the 2nd week there was quite a wait to be seated for the evening meal but there seemed to be more guests there. The dress code for the men is long trousers & closed in shoes, a bit much in the heat,maybe smart shorts could be worn! Our room was ok,the bathroom was a bit small & the view was of the roof of the childrens club,however we did feel that we were very tucked away,it felt like it was where some of the staff slept! Itwas cleaned every day, plenty of water supplied & chocolate in the evenings. The entertainment was ok, the saxophonist & the lovely quirky lady who played the violin were very good! The service at the African bar & round the pool areas could be improved, we did find that particular guests seemed to have preferential treatment! There were a few children at the hotel but it is more of an adults hotel. It's a great location with the dunes & the beach close by, there are plenty of bars & restaurants within walking distance. We had a lovely holiday, with great weather but didn't offer the 5 star experience which we were hoping for!
