Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel was about a 7-minute drive from El Tablero Centro Comercial. We took a taxi from the hotel, and there was a taxi stand right outside the shopping centre, which made it easy to get back.
The staff during our stay were okay. Some were very nice and welcoming, while others did not always bother to say hello.
Unfortunately, the check-in experience was not the best. When I arrived, one staff member was checking in another guest, another was assisting other customers, and the third was exchanging money while talking to a colleague. I waited patiently for my turn and did not want to interrupt, as they all seemed to be busy. However, once they appeared to be finished with the other customers, no one acknowledged me or indicated that they would be helping me next. They still seemed occupied with other things. Then another guest arrived after me, went straight to the desk, and was helped without the staff checking who had been waiting first. I found this a little disappointing. Once I was finally helped, however, the staff member who assisted me was quite friendly and helpful.
The cleanliness was okay during our stay. Our room was not cleaned every day because the cleaners were not available when we happened to be out of the room, but this did not bother us as long as we got fresh towels.
There were different activities and shows every day, which was nice, and food was also available by the swimming pool. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant.
We rented a car for one day and drove to Las Palmas, which was easy to do from the hotel.
We had actually booked the hotel several months in advance and later realised that we had paid more through the website we used compared with another booking website, where a better room was also available. Unfortunately, by the time we noticed this, it was too late to change our booking. However, we were given an upgrade to a larger room, which made us feel that we ended up getting a similar deal after all. The upgraded room was a great surprise and had plenty of space for our family of four.
We did not notice much noise from outside either. Our room was not facing the show area, but rather the swimming pool, which may have helped.
The hotel itself was big and nice, with good facilities for different age groups. There was a shallow swimming area for small children, a swimming pool that was not too deep for older children, and a separate adults-only area.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel, especially for families, as there is something for people of all ages.
We came to the hotel as a family of 5 and had an amazing stay! We would 100% return for a future holiday! The staff and entertainment team do an outstanding job and the hotel was clean and well presented.
The food was always varied every night which was great, the two alternative restaurants are really nice too and a nice break from the main restaurant. Snack bars are decent for quick food and drink if you want to stay close to the pools.
Few things that could be improved that we didn’t like that much.
Genuinely don’t understand some of the really negative reviews of this hotel, really thought overall it was perfect for what we wanted! Wish we had stayed longer!
After a deeply enlightening chat with TUI, we learned that this is totally normal for this hotel—meaning the AC isn't broken, it's just decorative!
Naturally, the TUI rep believes a sizzling 33°C outside constitutes an unprecedented 'heatwave' for Maspalomas. You know, despite the historical August average being 29.9°C... a whole 3 degrees lower. Mind-blowing stuff.
In short: The TUI rep sees absolutely zero issue with an 'air-conditioned' restaurant mirroring the thermal luxury of a literal heatwave. Stunning service.
AC in the room is only marginally better - the best it can deliver is 26 C (79 F) during the day.
2 stars only for the very nice pools!
I just got back from our hoilday, the hotel is beautiful and you can’t fault it but over all the price we paid and what we got was very merrr
I would defo say it’s a family hoilday more for younger children. In my opinion if I brought a teenager they would have been bored there nothing really for them.
As a couple hotel yes is looks lovley but the all C is not worth it compare to places in Mexico and the drinks you would get plus entertainment.
Food was lovley and a good choice when it comes different styles at night.
But again I think it’s the drinks that let this place down sooo much. I’ve been on a couple of All c personal I think it is very cheap.
Rooms are ok nothing special
Staff are nice and friendly in my opinion.
Over all nice hotel but not really worth the £2600 we paid.
Hotel was fabulous. I haven't got a single bad thing to say about the hotel. Staff were friendly, food was great, pool areas beautiful and no problem at all for sunbeds. Entertainment was excellent. Loved the Michael Jackson show so much. Best hotel I've stayed in and will definitely go back
