The Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa Hotel is located in Campo Internacional, 2,6 km from Maspalomas beach and from the important avenue and commercial area of Meloneras. The Hotel complex have undergone a complete renovation, therefore, new buildings and rooms have been built, but most of the wide open green areas have been respected. This new product is targeted to a more demanding market and we have specialized in the “Only Adults” concept. Without a doubt, the privacy offered by each of the rooms in this horizontal hotel is one of its great attractions. Each room has a garden area where you can sunbathe and relax in hammocks for exclusive use, as well as a perfectly furnished terrace to enjoy the peace and comfort of this paradise. Having guaranteed the maximum level of comfort and relaxation for guests, we did not want to deprive them of the technological pleasures that these times offer: from a careful air conditioning and lighting, to the most advanced internet connection network installed in a hotel in the Canary Islands or the latest Smart TV Hospitality system on the market. With views over the Maspalomas Dunes and Campo Internacional, the outdoor Fitness & SPA area offers everything the body and mind need to reach a state of total relaxation. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and a complete swimming pool with hydromassage hammocks, hydrotherapy jets, steam bath, Finnish sauna, ice fountain and themed showers, as well as a wide range of treatments. The hotel has a large and complete gymnasium to meet the expectations of the most demanding of guests. The fitness area, as well as the cardiovascular equipment, will satisfy the needs of both amateur and professional sportsmen and women. During your stay you will be able to enjoy both the à la carte lunch and the buffet-style dinner, with avant-garde and modern touches that make them unique and delicious. The hotel offers its guests a free shuttle service to Maspalomas beach.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 2 outdoor swimming pools, a sauna and a fitness centre. Additional amenities at this Art Deco hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and a vending machine. Getting to the surf and sand is a breeze with the complimentary beach shuttle.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We returned to Club Maspalomas for our second wedding anniversary after visiting in 2025 for our first anniversary. On arrival the staff were as fabulous as we had remembered. We arrived earlier than check in and so left our luggage with them for storage and headed to the restaurant/poolside to enjoy the day. When arriving at our room we were thrilled to see the room decorated for our anniversary with balloons etc. Food and drinks fantastic. Staff are the best I’ve ever experienced. By the second night they remembered our preferences on seating and drinks. One of the restaurant staff, Catalina, was absolutely exceptional. She is so friendly, attentive and genuinely a pleasure to talk to. She would greet us each day even if not sitting in her area of service and would make a point of coming to say hello and ask how we were. A big highlight is that you don’t need to worry about finding all sun lounger or people being rowdy etc by the pool, it’s a very very relaxed resort. We were not disappointed by our second stay and hope to return in the future.
We arrived on Friday and was greeted with friendly reception staff and glass of prosecco. We have booked the garden room with jacuzzi and I could not recommend it enough as it's exceptional.
We are half board. Food is good but on the pricey side and there isn't anything outside the hotel to pop out quickly so if you are staying for more than a week could get pricey.
I celebrated my birthday yesterday and that was very disappointing that the hotel didn't do anything like a cake or prosecco in the room which many hotels have done and hotel of this standard I would have expected something.
The gym is large comparison to many hotels and very well equipped. Lacks air conditioning but overall is good.
I recommend the spa treatment as its reasonable price that hotel offers good discount.
Overall, it's a pleasant stay so far, and I will review further at the end.
Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa was everything we wanted and more. My boyfriend and I stayed in a Junior Suite (the most basic room category), and even that exceeded our expectations, so I can only imagine the more premium rooms maintain the same standards — if not better!
Our room was absolutely spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning kept it lovely and cool throughout our stay. It was also really well equipped, with a secure safe, rainfall and handheld showers, and everything we needed for a comfortable week.
The food was fantastic and genuinely felt like premium cuisine. With buffet hotels, there can sometimes be a trade-off between quantity and quality, but that absolutely wasn’t the case here. There was still a huge amount of choice, while the quality remained excellent. During our stay, we had fish and vegetable paella, suckling pig, cauliflower cheese, stews and curries, a Chinese-themed night and so much more. I particularly recommend trying the little bruschetta pieces with the tomato topping at dinner — I went back for these more times than I’d like to admit!
Breakfast was equally delicious, with a full English available every morning alongside plenty of other options. I also loved the chocolate Rice Krispies with chilled rice milk, and the freshly made pancakes from the live cooking station were amazing.
The pool area was another highlight. It had such a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere and was generally lovely and quiet, but there was still some soft background music playing throughout the day, which added to the ambience without ever being intrusive. It struck the perfect balance between having a bit of a holiday vibe and still feeling calm and relaxing.
I had two massages at the spa during our stay and both were fantastic. I also made plenty of use of the heated spa pool, which has built-in jacuzzi areas and fountains, as well as the sauna, steam room and poolside showers. The pool was beautifully warm — almost like getting into a bath — and extremely clean. There is also a dedicated swimming lane, which was great for getting some exercise in. My boyfriend used the fully equipped gym and was equally impressed.
The activities were another unexpected highlight. When we arrived, there was a Canary Islands food workshop where we learned about the different islands and tasted various local foods and alcoholic drinks, all included with our booking.
We also did a wine and cheese evening combined with painting, which was also included in the booking at no extra cost — you just need to pre-book your place at reception. Everyone voted for their favourite painting at the end of the evening, and the winner received a bottle of wine. Spoiler alert: I won 🙌, so we enjoyed a few glasses outside our room before dinner!
There was also aqua aerobics every other day and a paella workshop. We didn’t attend the paella workshop ourselves, but it looked brilliant.
We ventured out to the local market on Wednesday, which runs every Wednesday and Sunday. If the location of the hotel is something making you hesitant to book, I really wouldn’t let it put you off. Taxis were very inexpensive and always readily available outside the hotel. We simply asked our driver to take us to the morning market and he knew exactly where to go.
A special shoutout to Titti, who made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable during the second half of our stay — especially impressive considering she had only started waitressing at the hotel a few days earlier!
There were only a few very minor things that could be improved, none of which came remotely close to affecting how much we enjoyed our stay:
Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic stay and will definitely be returning. The value for money was exceptional, particularly considering the quality of the food, facilities, accommodation and activities.
Thank you to all the staff at Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa for making our final student holiday so memorable before we both start our adult jobs this autumn. It was the perfect way to end that chapter! ☀️

We stayed at the Club Maspalomas Suites and Spa for 9 nights in August 2026 after reading the excellent reviews and I can see why it is rated so highly. We booked a junior suite with private garden and hot tub which was lovely and well maintained. The bungalow itself is on the small side but the garden is very spacious and we used the hot tub nearly every day. Our room backed onto a road but was very quiet with very little traffic. The main swimming pool and spa were excellent and there were sun beds always available when we went there. The entertainment was very good but finished far to early at 10.00 except for one night when the Dukes band performed an Abba tribute act which finished at 11.00. The act before that didn’t turn up and we weren’t notified why. That is the only negative as from 10.00 to when the bar shuts at 11.30 there is nothing else on, just music played very low in the bar and 2 screens showing football. I think they are missing a trick here as just having something on even just some music on the big screen would have been better. A lot of people at 10.00 either just went home or went into Playa Del Ingles. I can only presume they finish so early because some of the bungalows are quite close to the stage. Other than that I have no complaints. The food was excellent. The buffet was smaller than the big hotel chains but the meat was cooked to order and the other food was always fresh and hot. You could help yourself to tea and coffee. The alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced and the Bacardi I ordered, was poured in front of me and were generous measures. The staff were lovely and always helpful and you could rent a car from the reception area but we choose to use the bus which is just outside the hotel and from there we went to Puerto Mogán, Las Palmas and Maspalomas. The hotel also offer a free bus to the beach 3 times a day going and coming back. This is shared with other hotels. We also booked the airport transfer which was 65 euros in each way but was excellent. There is a supermarket about a 10 minute walk away but you get 2 bottles of water a day in your room and they have a water station and ice machine. So if you want a very peaceful break then this hotel is definitely recommended.
