Exceptional padel coach at Hotel Monte Feliz.
Laurent is an exceptional padel coach and deserves the highest possible rating. He is friendly, approachable, and has a great sense of humor, creating a fun and motivating atmosphere on court. Most importantly, he is an outstanding teacher who can adapt his coaching to players of every level, from beginners to advanced competitors. Every session is well-structured, engaging, and full of valuable insights.
Our warmest recommendations to Laurent. Thank you for making padel even more enjoyable!

This is a brilliant hotel if you have older teenagers who love sports. There is an app to book all your sports- padel, tennis, yoga, fitness classes. The hotel is very clean and well organised, if anything is missing in your room you can request on the app. Padel coaching (included) is great. It's not the hotel for you if you want to drink all day, most guests are very healthy and sporty. We have really enjoyed it and would book again 👍🏻 Breakfast is delicious, something for everyone. The only negative is there is nothing to do in the evenings, maybe a movie night or pool competition would be good. But it's been an amazing holiday, perfect for our family (boys aged 15+18)
I stayed at Monte Feliz with my 11 year old son. I chose the hotel as it’s in a quieter area of Gran Canaria. We had a two bedroom apartment which was spacious and clean. I had a couple of minor issues which I reported on their website you can login to once you’re there. The issues were fixed quickly. The website shows you all the times for fitness classes etc and you can book excursions through there, which I did. The pool is a good size, didn’t ever feel too busy. Always managed to find a sun lounger without having to be there super early. Onsite Spar shop which is handy. Didn’t use the sports facilities so can’t comment on them. Splash park was good and hardly ever anyone using it. Staff were pleasant and helped with any queries. I’ve rated 4 rather than 5 due to the food. I only paid for bed and breakfast. Breakfast was great, lots of options. I paid for dinner one evening and it was average, quite a lot of choices but it tasted quite bland and some of it was overcooked. We ate out at other restaurants the other nights. There is beach access from the hotel (lots of steps) and a plaza with good restaurants and some souvenir shops, less than a ten minute walk away. Also, one of the photos when I booked showed a games room with arcade machines, this isn’t there, it’s just a room with a few board games, which is fine but was son was disappointed. I had read some reviews mentioning noise from the race track but we didn’t hear it at all. We were the other side of the hotel though.
The hotel looks lovely and we were having a lovely holiday until I found mice in our room. We were offered a new room and when we entered the balcony door was open making things feel unsafe. While at reception complaining another family were at the desk stating someone, a stranger, had been entering their room. I feel completely unsafe and there has been no offer of a new hotel. Staff are extremely unhelpful, as a lone female with a child I don’t feel this is good service.
We have just come back from a week staying at Monte Feliz, and I can say we have a had a wonderful time! From the moment we arrived which was quite late on but we able to get into the restaurant to eat which was a nice touch. There are so many activities available here but with no pressure to do anything, if you want to spend the whole time laying by the pool then you can, we made use of the gym daily, stretch classes in the morning and yoga in the late afternoon. Had a sports massage from Yolanda, which got rid of so many knots in my back. We also hired a coupe of Kayaks which for 10 euros an hour per kayak I thought was very well priced. The food available is very varied and we didn't have to queue at anytime we went to eat. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and the hotel itself is one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in. I feel the biggest shout has to go to David the lifeguard who is super friendly and makes time to have conversations with everyone and is always on hand to help with parasols and loungers.. he is a massive credit to the hotel!
