I’ve Been to this hotel 6 times and Never get bored of it, Amazing Service, Rooms and Very Friendly employees, I love how clean everything is and how Respectfull staff is, i want to put out there that I REALLY recomend this Hotell, If you need foot there always is, if you need drinks Grab when/what you want. When you enter your hotellrom You never get disapointed in your view. The atmosphere is also amazing, cozy, beautifull and relaxing. Amazing Location on top of hill and also That there isn’t Hotels Way to close to you. Eventhough its not a Cheap hotell, its deffently worth it as you’re gonna have the time of your life, also For the price You get allinclusive, no need to worry about buying drinks/food.

We have just returned from the most fantastic week at the RIU Vistamar (24th Sept to 1st October). Thank you to all the wonderful friendly staff and management for making our stay so enjoyable. The hotel views are fabulous, and it was a bonus to have a room overlooking Amadores beach. The hotel itself is well looked after and very clean, the food was plentiful and of a very good standard. We and many people we spoke to had no issues with any sickness, so I am surprised to see some reviews saying there is an issue, in my opinion I believe its more peoples lack of personal hygiene and/or picking up illness outside of the hotel. The Asian restaurant was a highlight, although still a buffet offering, its a lovely setting with a different selection of food with lovely friendly staff seating you and serving drinks. The pools are lovely, yes sometimes these areas get busy but we never had an issue finding a sunbed when we wanted one. The free bus down to the beach and back up is great, we used this many times and then often walked round to Puerto Rico on the costal path and back. The RIU party was also a highlight, a fun night out at a different hotel, again with free transport, all very well organised. We have no complaints at all and we will certainly return.
We have just returned from a stay here for 1 week. I was very anxious about this holiday after reading all the reviews so went prepared and armed with hand sanitizer and hand washing advise to my partner. I was very paranoid i was not going to get ill.
Day 2 of my holiday I started with D&V for a good 24 hours which I reported to reception and TUI who opened up a case. TUI sent me a copy and paste letter advising me that it was probably a change in weather mixed with alcohol. The weather for our first weekend was cool and showers and we hadn’t drunk a drop of alcohol!!! So explain that one??
We missed trips that we had paid for as I was unable to leave the room for 48 hours which was fine as I still felt awful.
When we did get out and about the hotel they had great staff who always greeted you when walking past. Entertainment looked great in the pool area.
The views are the best thing about this hotel. Wherever you are you always get a great outlook.
Would i return…. No!
It’s such a shame as they have clearly got a big problem in this hotel with cleanliness and hygiene but the hotel and surroundings were amazing.
Very disappointed… I should have trusted these reviews and tried to book somewhere else.
Beautiful hotel, staff are fantastic, from the moment you arrive, nothing to much trouble. Hotel is beautiful and in fantasic location with views that are awesome, rooms are extremely clean as is all parts of the hotel, beds are comfortable and there's plenty of storage but balcony is a little small but that's a minor issue. We stayed in room 507 which had stunning ocean views. Food Is plentiful and varied, you could always find something to eat. Pool areas are large and have an abundance of sunbeds (I did missed the infinity pool). The animation team worked very hard, daytime and evening entertainment were of the better standards. we didn't suffer from the alleged bug, but in the hotels defence, they are extremely on top of the cleanliness unfortunately its the hygiene of some of the guests who seem to have forgot the basic hygiene practices as the amount of adult who don't wash their hands after going to the WC is staggering and my wife said the women are as bad, astonishing, but they then blame the hotel it beggars belief. We will be returning as the hotel is one of the best we have stayed.
Fantastic location with beautiful sea views Very unusual to have reception on level 8 which is ground level then all rooms are situated below with the swimming pools on the upper floors Plenty of choice for meals with a main restaurant on level 8 and a smaller one by the pools Very friendly staff at all levels Rooms cleaned every day with a free safe in every room Would definitely recommend and return
