The Hotel Riu Calypso is located in the vicinity of Morro Jable in Fuerteventura, Spain, and offers excellent views of the crystal clear water and golden sand. It includes a gym, table tennis, pool, a tennis court and in the surrounding area you can also try out water sports, horse riding, squash and cycling to explore the region. During the week the hotel offers shows and live music, and we also recommend a trip to the city centre where you'll find bars, restaurants and clubs where you can spend the evenings dancing to the best beats.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages. If you're looking for recreational opportunities, you'll find an outdoor pool and a fitness centre. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, gift shops/newsstands and a hair salon.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Really enjoyed out recent stay at this fabulous Hotel from 29th August through to the 9th of September. Everything about the hotel was excellent from our spacious room the food and service at the restaurants would highly recommend.
Great Rui palace hotel in great location right by beach front . Beach and sea far better than any Caribbean holiday destination we have been to . Hotel staff excellent. Food selection & quality excellent. Town , boutiques , cafes all within easy walking distance . Downside 2 hour transfer with drops from airport . Can cope with it to end up in this prime location. Have booked a return so it must have ticked the right boxes for us .
In general very good service. However I do not consider the evening entertainment area being open to the elements, such as high winds and high temperatures, as being suitable for a relaxing evening to enjoy the music and drinks. The area should be properly controlled and airconditioned!. The restaurant and the food were very good
Only stayed at this hotel for four nights but would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely stunning wirg friendly reception staff. The hotel is finished in exceptional standards with beautiful decor throughout. Well located with fabulous rooms and the best air conditioning. Restaurant was superb and food was outstanding. Just a few steps down from the hotel and you are on the beach walkway so you can access the beach which is absolutely beautiful. You can also walk up into Morro Jable old town with lovely bars/cafes looking out to the sea absolutely blissful. There is a lively vibe during the day and at night it comes alive with a spanish guitarit playing while you enjoy listening to the sound on the waves plus beautiful music. Terrific bar called Janet's where people who couldn't get in were singing and dancing in the street definitely worth a visit. One tiny thing I would mention is maybe some music during the day around the pool areas as it gives a good vibe. Lovely staff but never got enough time to get to chat much or even tip.( Maybe next time) Victor was extremely helpful to us when we arrived so huge thank you .
Second visit to this amazing hotel this year and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish Could not have been happier from the moment we arrived Reception staff very efficient and friendly Arrived rather later than planned due to a transfer issue Missed dinner but the ding room had prepared a cold plate for us which was delicious and very welcome Room was well prepared with the most perfect view The whole stay was as we expected Staff are so friendly and helpful Everywhere is spotlessly clean Our room was serviced daily by a very hard working lady and everything was spotless Pool are was well maintained with plenty of sunbeds and parasols Daily pool towel change if required Restaurant service and food variety was excellent What makes this hotel perfect is the staff and management. They al, respect their guests and go out of their way to offer a happy smiling greeting We love this hotel and are going back again in February 27 to celebrate a big birthday for my husband
