Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
First of all I will share what the hotel does well:
🇮🇨Our bedroom was lovely, the beds were probably one of the best we have stayed in. 🇮🇨The bar staff are lovely, though we have noticed Spanish guests with silver bands on (classic All Inc) accessing the gold bands drinks (for free) and having coffee made for them. 🇮🇨The inside of the hotel (reception area)is well kept. 🇮🇨The snack bar is one of the best we have seen. There’s a chef there all day and keeping it all stocked up with chips, pizzas, burgers, nuggets etc…
The hotel however on the outside, near the pool area is horrid. Cups from the night before, cig dimps and all sorts flying around. The floor is not being cleaned before people arrive down stairs in the AM and has rarely been cleaned whilst we have been here (7 days) 3 times and this happens around 11 AM, several hours after most families arrive at the pool.
Our main issue though has been the food in the restaurant. We have been here while some families have had there plates removed from the staff due to meat being RAW… I myself have had a brown piece of bacon and mouldy bread.
As well as this, as I write this there has been over 15 people have a sickness and diarrhoea. These people do not know each other and the commonality is the food. Today is Tuesday and from Friday every time I have gone to the pool toilet someone has been throwing up in there… these are always different people and are doubled over in pain.
We took our concerns of cleanliness and illness to management where Alice really did try and look after us, it’s just a shame EasyJet don’t seem that concerned. One family due to these issues left their holiday 4 days early.
The hotel is ideal if you are travelling on a budget and are willing to use it as a base for drinks and snacks but I wouldn’t eat my tea here… the night time chefs in the restaurant are rude and cannot cook - you will be poorly. We were given a meal at the à la carte restaurant as a goodwill gesture and again we appreciated Alice sorting this for us, it was however a little to late as we already suffered with an upset stomach days prior.
The pool has been used as a toilet on 2 separate occasions and was closed the rest of the day when this happened. Again this can’t be helped, but it does give you an idea of what’s happening to people’s stomach while they’re staying here.
This hotel needs new staff who are dedicated at the up keeping of the pool areas, and training on treating all nationalities the same is what food and drink they offer. The facilities for children are great and the water park is fantastic but at the evening they have 2 entertainment areas, one inside and one outside and whilst we have been here there has been no entertainment in the outside area except showing the World Cup, which makes zero sense as most of the children are out there having fun…. If you do want to sit inside and enjoy the entertainment make sure you arrive early as seats go quickly.
Other things to note : The bar beer tap outside is not the same as the beer inside, with the lager inside tasting significantly worse. Make sure your little ones have shoes on at all times as cleaning near and around the pools is minimal. Some parents are allowing their children to pick food up with the bare hands and place it back, again not helping with the spread of bugs and Illness.
I have attached photos of the outside area, these was on the floor all day and the photos was taken around 9:45 PM… the other picture is the safety floor in the park which causes more of hazard
Approach with optimism or caution…
Just back from a fantastic week at this property. Great facilities and hard working staff. Pool bar could use an extra pair of hands during peak times to ease the queues. Common areas could use a daily scrub to counteract people’s spills. Floors get sticky after people constantly spill their drinks. Just a couple small tweaks and it will be perfect.
Overall, this hotel was great. The food was good with a great variety of things to eat. There was a restaurant for everyone, then a separate restaurant for all inclusive plus. There was also a snack bar by the pool where you could get things to eat. The toilets were clean most of the time and there were lots of games to play in the arcades. However, the entertainment wasn’t great. They had plenty to do during the day around the pool, but at night the shows were not up to standard. Another negative was the amount of staff. This hotel is very understaffed with the majority of the time only having one barman at the bars, leaving long queues waiting to get drinks. Soft drinks, beer, slushies, coffee and water can be self-served, but alcoholic drinks have to be ordered. The hotel was nice and clean, with a really good waterpark and two huge pools which were never busy. Had such a great time with the family with many memories made.
Hotel staff rude, hotel guests even ruder. food awful. kids abused by Spanish holiday makers. Made to feel unwelcome. absolutely horrific week. Ate out every night after the first night. spent very little time in the hotel. wouldn't recommend at all. Had two rooms one-air con didn't work . The other tv didn't work. Balcony door didn't lock. Just not a nice place at all. reception not interested in helping in any way. abused by a Spanish family shouted at my 7 year old girl. she wouldn't go anywhere with her brother after that this happened on day 3. we booked another hotel after 5 days.
Best hotel my family have been to! Facilities, food, entertainment are great. Omar and Elisabeth were especially welcoming and alot of fun!
