This hotel was excellent!
We stayed in 2 shared pool rooms positioned next to one another as a result of the helpful management team. The rooms (4203 and 4204) had fantastic sunshine through until half 2 ish when we would head to the beautiful beach. Swimming in the sea was fun as the waves were amazing.
The hotel food and drinks were wonderful. The quality of each neal never wavered and the waiting staff were all incredibly hard working.
I stayed awake until midnight to achieve a booking with the Japanese restaurant…this was worth booking, it really was a holiday highlight!
I would rate this hotel as the best we have stayed at, and we have stayed in some wonderful places!
Thank you to your staff team for helping us to have the most perfect holiday. ❤️
Myself and husband stayed at the Iberostar palace for our honeymoon. The hotel is absolutely amazing! The first day was slightly tricky to navigate but after a few times round you quickly got the hang of it. They had different around the world foods each night which was fun as we got to try so many new dishes, drinks were fantastic including the AI range, so many drinks included. The walk down to the beach was lovely with the private walk way and taps to wash your feet before re-entering the hotel. Our room was stunning and spacious and quite close to all the main points of the hotel. Staff were incredible, always so friendly and welcoming. Especially Amin who mainly did entertainment/activities. He was an absolute ray of sunshine, always smiling, very bubbly and encouraged people to get involved. He is a credit to the hotel!
Our only negative points about our stay and the hotel was the sunbed situation, there is no allocated time you can put towels on the beds so if you want to secure a bed you need to be up and down early to put your towels on. If you want a lie in and to stroll down at 10am all beds will be gone and people leave their towels down for the entire day so there's not much chance atall of getting one even in the afternoon. We had 2 pool days and i had to get up at 7am each day to make sure we got a bed (which isn't particularly what i want to be doing on my honeymoon). Our other negative point is the request service. My husband requested flowers to be delivered to our room after a day out we had as a special gift for myself to celebrate our honeymoon. He requested them multiple times that they kept cancelling. He opened the live chat multiple times with the hotel reception on the app and no one responded to him. Which we think is quite poor, he was quite upset as he really wanted to make it as special as possible.
Overall we did have a lovely stay and would recommend. X
We never write reviews and have visited hotels across the world. However, on returning home yesterday I really wanted to add our review on the hotel. We agree with all the previous comments about the standard of the food, the range of branded AI drinks (huge measures of Disoronno/Baileys etc), and general facilities. However I wanted to add a few extras…
All in all I would really recommend this hotel especially for families with teens.
Wow, a fantastic holiday from start to finish. The hotel is approx an hour from the airport, (we hired a car) parking was a bit tricky but once checked in there are spaces behind hotel barriers. Arriving late wasn’t a problem and there was still food/snacks available in the cafe in the lobby. Our room was in a great location in the hotel and Reception had ensured our daughter was located in close proximity to us. The quality of the food and drink across the hotel is fabulous, with a huge range available at all times. The Teppanyaki restaurant is a must, although it isn’t easy to get a reservation, but worth it. The staff make the hotel and are all super friendly and always willing to help. The animation team are fabulous and so relaxed and friendly, making everyone feel welcome but not pushing activities on you. The evening entertainment was varied with something for everyone, we especially enjoyed the saxophonist by the pool, absolutely brilliant.
A special shoutout to Nicole for the Pilates classes and for Amin for the impromptu Spanish lessons and keeping us entertained.
What an amazing stay at this stunning hotel!!! Everything is fantastic from the staff, to the food and drinks, and the gorgeous airy rooms! Not to mention the cleanliness being second to none! It’s very rare to be able to tick every box but the Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura has nailed it!! What a delightful and relaxing holiday we had. Thank you to everyone who made it such a memorable time for us! We’ll certainly be back soon to enjoy more of the wonderful hospitality on offer! Until next time ….
