General view

Stayed 3 nights Dec '24. The location is overlooking one of the best beaches, Butihonda, with white soft sand and gentler waters which makes it safer to swim. Swimming pools were well heated. Beautiful mature planting throughout the complex. The hotel is spacious and bright with large polished tiles, sculptures and large artwork pieces giving it a refined modern elegance.  Bedroom was large with super large balcony, English TV channels, room safe, bath robes, slippers and beach towels. Buffet breakfast and dinner offered a wide range of dishes and new choices added each day. Just wonderful! Special touch complimentary Canva on checking in and in the buffet. Free amble  parking. Staff attentive and polite.  Quite secluded area to chill out. Entertainment was a fantastic singer in the bar and violinist in the buffet. Other night was a guitar and piano player.  Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful luxury hotel, stunning location

The staff here are amazing. They really make your stay feel welcomed from your first hello. The grounds of this hotel are so lovely there’s three pools dotted around the place which lead to the beach view. The food is lovely with such a large selection and fresh. The breakfast is our favourite there is such a large selection and really good quality. We came here after leaving another hotel abruptly and glad we did. The view from the room is outstanding we have a partial sea view. The hotel is huge I can imagine in peak season this would be a huge benefit giving the feeling of space. We are still currently enjoying the facility and will be sad to leave. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Lovely hotel & staff :)

The good...
Excellent beach location, spacious and comfortable room, lots of space for sunbathing and dining even when hotel busy, generally friendly and helpful staff, good entertainment and very comfortable surroundings. Great swimming outdoors and indoors. Service in bars and main restaurant was excellent and quality of drinks was very good.

The not so good....
Food is adequate but not a great selection for a hotel of this calibre (eg no bananas, no papaya, limited salad and cold fish selection,  Cava served very seldom for breakfast). Shame no All Inclusive offered and lunch snacks are very limited although there is a restaurant you can go to ( I did not,  so no feedback there!)
 
Cleanliness of room leaved a lot to be desired, as not cleaned every day and when reported to Reception twice on one day, nothing was done. Irregular restocking of items such as tissues, tea bags, etc. Request for drinks for mini bar was ignored.

On the whole, a good hotel but I  have had better food in a three star hotel on Fuerteventura, and the lack of cleaning in the room was a let down.

Generally a good hotel... but needs to do better

The hotel its self is really large & clean with a lovely setting. Rooms are big & the toiletries are really high quality. The place is lacking in atmosphere there is nothing much to do at night with the highlight being dinner which is pretty poor quality, the range is not desirable a lot of red meat options, boned fish with very little poultry. There’s a lot of red meat stews, the odd vegetable curry and some pastas but all very high in salt. The breakfast is decent. Everything else is chargeable. We took a bottle of water which was purchased at the hotel lobby to dinner in the evening one night as I was feeling a little unwell and was shouted at by the waiter. The waiter then came back for seconds to what I assume was another telling off in Spanish. There is a restaurant open at lunch time with nice pizza for around €12 a meal would be typically anything from €12-€20. Some salads, pastas, pizza. The staff are polite enough at the front desk and in the paid restaurant. The buffet staff are a little highly strung and a little bit no thrills. The rooms can get noisy at high traffic times as the doors don’t seem to close quietly. They are heavy doors which  only slam shut so you might want to bring some ear buds as this echo’s in the corridors and can be heard each time. I would recommend to take a car at the airport there are plenty of options for this. There is nothing surrounding this hotel apart from another hotel. The local shop is about 45 minutes walking one way and it is not a easy level walk. There is no local restaurants or coffee shops nearby. A car is a necessity.

Mediocre

We last stayed at this spacious hotel shortly after it opened and we enjoyed our stay back then. So upon return we were keen to see if it had maintained its initial standards? In general it had.
The hotel is clean, minimalist and generally well maintained with helpful staff who are as attentive as required. Our selected room was reasonably equipped, uncluttered and breakfasts offered a decent selection of food to suit all tastes.
Overall, we think the hotel still offered good value for money and we will return.

Good value for money

This cosy hotel is set in Playa de Esquinzo. Moreover, there is a wireless Internet connection at hand in communal areas. The reception desk is open all day long.
