Set in the prime spot next to the white sands and turquoise waters, the Hotel Fuerteventura Princess is a charming hotel superbly situated on Esquinzo beach. Soak up the sun in one of the hotel's many freshwater outdoor swimming pools, with three adult pools and one children's pool you are spoilt for choice. Live music and entertainment can be found in the evenings for those who want to unwind with a delicious cocktail; and if you have little ones with you, relax, the entertainment team are on hand to look after the children.
Dining highlights include The Principal restaurant where breakfast and dinner is served with an open kitchen, it also has themed dinners, Spanish cuisine and international specialties. For the late risers there is the Restaurante La Choza where you can dine whilst enjoying the view from the terrace. Also available is a Pizzeria, which is adjacent to the main pool for those looking for a hamburger or pizza at mid-day.
This hotel offers an array of excellent amenities including, free sauna and Turkish bath, evening entertainment, live music and a variety of sporting activities from a fully equipped gym to tennis courts and volleyball.

The rooms at the Hotel Fuerteventura Princess have a warm and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break. They also have their own private balcony or terrace, perfect for soaking up the evening atmosphere. All rooms are air-conditioned and have an en suite bathroom with a bath. They are also equipped with a range of amenities including cable TV, fridge, telephone, hairdryer and safe (at a fee).
The glorious beach is not the only thing that Esquinzo has to offer, just a short walk away from the hotel you will find a selection of restaurants and shops. But if you fancy a wider choice then why not explore the popular town of Jandia, this southern peninsula accommodates a wide variety of restaurants and bars for even the most adventurous of appetites.

Disappointing stay at Princes Fuerteventura Hotel
Unfortunately, our stay at Princes Fuerteventura Hotel was extremely disappointing, especially as this was our first holiday with our 10-month-old baby.
To begin with, I paid extra to stay in the upgraded Essencia area, only to later find out that all guests had access to this area. This made the additional cost feel completely unjustified and misleading.
The cleanliness throughout the hotel was also very poor. On our first night, after my baby had been crawling around the room, her knees and hands were completely black from the floor. This was very concerning, particularly when travelling with a young baby.
The situation in the restaurant was no better. Plates, cutlery, salt shakers and other items were often dirty, sticky and clearly not cleaned properly. I also had to clean the high chair myself every time before putting my baby in it because it was so filthy. This is completely unacceptable in a family-friendly hotel.
Another major issue was the lift in our block, which was out of order for three days. As I had a pram and a 10-month-old baby, I had no choice but to carry the pram and my daughter up and down the stairs for three days. What was particularly disappointing was that staff would walk past without even offering to help. When I raised the issue with reception, I was simply told that they were waiting for someone to come and fix it and that there was nothing else they could do. There was no real attempt to provide any alternative assistance.
The air conditioning in the room was also extremely poor, making it very difficult to sleep comfortably at night for me and my baby. There was also no effective air conditioning in the restaurant, which made meals very uncomfortable due to the heat and often put us off eating there.
The entertainment was another disappointment. There was very little happening around the pools during the day, and the daytime entertainment was poor. In the evenings, the main entertainment started around 9pm and finished at 10:30pm, with nothing happening afterwards. The children’s entertainment started at 8:45pm and finished at 9:30pm, which also felt quite limited, especially for families with young children.
Overall, I found many of the staff to be rude, unhelpful and uninterested when concerns were raised. Unfortunately, the combination of poor cleanliness, inadequate facilities, lack of assistance and limited entertainment made what should have been a special first holiday with our baby a very unpleasant experience.
For the price we paid, and especially considering the additional money spent on the Essencia upgrade, I expected a much higher standard. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Great hotel, lovely facilities and, unfortunately, a rather impressive “every man for himself” approach to the sun loungers.
The hotel’s website clearly states: “No reservation with towels before 10am,” and the rule is prominently displayed around the pool areas. Sadly, this appears to be more of a suggestion than an actual policy, as guests are routinely reserving sun loungers from as early as 6–7am.
We’ve raised this issue several times with both the hotel and the tour operator, but so far, nothing has changed. The result is that anyone who actually follows the rules is left at a significant disadvantage, while those prepared to ignore them get the best spots.
It’s particularly disappointing because the hotel itself is very good. We’re only four days into our stay, with another ten days to go, but this completely avoidable issue has already taken some of the shine off the holiday.
So, if your idea of a relaxing holiday is setting your alarm for 6am, sneaking down to the pool with a towel and staking your claim before breakfast, then congratulations — you’ve found the perfect hotel.
A lovely stay in a beautiful hotel!
We have just returned from a lovely 10-day holiday at the Fuerteventura Princess.
From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful décor and atmosphere of the hotel. The complex is very large, with plenty of areas to relax, explore and have fun. Although we arrived late at night and were greeted by a pleasant member of staff, we were disappointed that, despite having two young children and four suitcases, we were left to find our room ourselves in such a large resort.
Unfortunately, this reflected our overall experience with many of the staff. While there were certainly some friendly and helpful employees, we generally found the customer service to be lacking, with some staff coming across as unhelpful and quite rude. This was a real shame, as it was the only significant negative during an otherwise wonderful holiday. On the other hand, the entertainment team worked incredibly hard every day and were fantastic. The hotel photographers were also lovely—we had a complimentary photo shoot and ended up purchasing some beautiful family photographs that we're so pleased with.
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Being right on the beach meant we could enjoy breathtaking views every day, and the beach itself is stunning. The huge waves kept our children entertained for hours and made for some wonderful family memories.
The food was good for a buffet-style all-inclusive hotel, with plenty of choice, although after 10 days it did become a little repetitive. A couple more themed evenings would have added some variety.
One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness of the hotel. Both the hotel itself and the grounds were spotless throughout our stay, and it was clear that the housekeeping and maintenance teams took great pride in keeping everything looking immaculate.
Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday and created some amazing memories. While improving the customer service from some members of staff would make a big difference, it certainly didn't overshadow everything else the hotel has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future for the beautiful setting, excellent facilities, relaxing atmosphere, and wonderful beachfront location.

We stayed at the Fuerteventura Princess in July 2026 for 2 weeks. This was our third holiday at this resort since 2022 and our experience was very nice as always!
The property is in a good location surrounded by turquoise waters. The resort was tidy, clean and the staff welcoming. Food was excellent with plenty of variety and live cooking!
Special thanks goes to Nicholas and rest of the BRAVO club, they were top-notch, friendly, fantastic and attentive!
BRAVO / animation organised various day time activities like shooting, sjoelan, beach volleyball, French balls, darts, archery etc. and evening shows. Truly high-level entertainment!

Fantastic holidays
Location: The location is great. There are plenty of shopping opportunities nearby, and the beach is beautiful, clean, and just a short walk from the hotel.
Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms were cleaned every day, but our room was a bit small for a family of four. I think that's quite common in many hotels. Unfortunately, we couldn't choose a larger room, but that's not the hotel's fault—it was due to the package we booked through our travel provider.
The Hotel & Atmosphere: The hotel itself feels like a small village, with many buildings and little streets. It has a wonderful atmosphere, and we absolutely loved it! Even though there was music every evening, it didn't disturb us at night when we wanted to sleep.
The Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and only about 100 meters from the hotel. We loved spending time there. If you have a car, Jandía Playa (in Morro Jable) is only about five minutes away, and it's an absolute must-see! That said, the hotel's beach is also fantastic—less crowded, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing.
Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars! There was an incredible variety of food, and I honestly can't imagine anyone complaining about it. There was something for everyone, and everything we tried was delicious.
There was just one thing we didn't like: the snack bar.
You're enjoying the pool, and then you want to grab something to eat between lunch and dinner (especially since kids are always hungry). Well, you can't just walk into the snack bar. You have to change into "normal" clothes because swimsuits aren't allowed. On top of that, you're not allowed to take the food out of the snack bar.
So every time we wanted a snack, we had to leave the pool, get changed, go to the snack bar, eat there, get changed again, and return to the pool. We've never experienced this at any other hotel, so we ended up not using the snack bar at all.
I completely understand not allowing guests to take food outside, but requiring everyone to change out of their swimsuits just to have a quick snack seems unnecessary.
Anyway, we had fantastic holidays!!!
