The 4 star all inclusive hotel Club Jandía Princess in the south of Fuerteventura is a paradise for adults and children alike. Located directly at Playa Esquinzo, this all inclusive hotel has two separate areas, one for adults (as of 18 years) and one for families.
The family area is tailored to the needs of children. The smallest guests just love the “Farm Princess” with its goats, rabbits, chicken and sheep and the vegetable patch, where they can plant and harvest to their heart's delight. The colourful, comic-style painted walls of the mini club describe the adventures of the “Principito”, the mascot of the mini club. It's the perfect place for the daily fun activities with the entertainment team.
The adults-only section is focused on privacy, relaxation and tranquillity. The wellness area offers relax pools, swim-up bar, whirlpools and a spacious fitness centre. A special Body & Mind sports program brings harmony to body and mind. Below the zen-area with its sauna and massage options, steps lead directly to Playa Esquinzo beach. For a small fee, guests of the family section may enjoy the facilities and services of the wellness area in the adults-only area of the hotel.
The core of the 10 building, bright-white complex is the shared pool landscape with its bars, and the main building with its buffet-style restaurants.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
It was our first time in Fuerteventura and found an all inclusive trip there for 4 nights as a short summer holiday. The location is beautiful, the beach is one of the nicest I've been to and is a 5 minute walk down steps and the views from the hotel over looking the beach are fantastic. Our room was fine, with a comfortable and large bed and what you would typically expect with a good balcony but the aircon wasn't too cold. The rooms were cleaned and refreshed each day we were there. There were activities on daily, both in the evenings and in the days and the staff were absolutely fine. There's a gym, good amount of pools and we loved the swim up bar. The food was always absolutely fine, everything included as you would expect of an all inclusive with a snack bar available for most of the day too. We were incredibly impressed for the money we paid and what the facilities, cleanliness and overall expectation of it was. The negative, it was slightly dated and in desperate need of some updating all over but this is due to be done over the coming 18 months. I cannot wait to go back once it's refurbished
Where to start
So yes the sports bar toilets were blocked for over 24 hrs . These were reported but the following day were still blocked why people kept using them and adding to the issue is beyond me .
Our room the air con was rubbish and we had seen this in reviews so we brought our own fan.
Room cleaning good accept for dirty stained bedding put on . We removed this and left it daily for housekeeping to see. But we still had it put back on
Food faultless good choice good quality.
Pools yes cold but hey after lay in the hot sun it was a treat.
Pools need some updating. Cards for the doors a nightmare sometimes taking many attepts to get in.
Sadly my main grumble the snack bar one member of staff thought it was exceptble to kick a cat that was sat by the door. This was appalling and let everything good down about the hotel. You've some beautiful cat but please educate your staff on compassion and respect. I as a guest wouldn't have dreamed of kicking her . The poor cat clearly heavily pregnant . If you cant look after the cats please contact a rescue that can . We didnt se 1 rat or mouse so clearly doing their job. . Please make feeding and hydration stations for these beautiful animals. Ive travelled the world and seen many cats and as a cat owner I bring them food and try to offer drinks. This really made me sad and others that witnessed it too.
Fabulous , rooms were clean and modern,the resort is seperated with families one side and couples the other. Same in the huge food area,the food was full of variety and replenished often and delicious. Multiple pools inc. one for the naked sunbather but fenced off. Straight onto the beach be aware there will also be naked people but worth a walk ,go right for all the chip monks but take supplies as there are lots and v friendly.
Disgusting toilets in the sports bar women’s. I complained last night and it’s still the same today. And nothing has been done about it every single one blocked and they don’t seem to care in the bar , I have asked at reception and they said they will do something about it we will see as you have to go in a lift 3 floors up to use the reception ones everything else at the hotel brilliant and reception staff lovely. Need more air con lovely food and pools
I had a lovely time, the pool was lovely and the views and our room were amazing. However, I got food poisoning from the sea food and I know of other guests who also suffered!
