We had not initially planned on being at Colletta Beach. We chose the location at the last minute because they had available and they had AC. The hotel turned out to be a wonderful choice. The resort area had a pool, a very well equipped gym, a wonderful reastorant and a bar that is open to the public. The resort entire staff was very helpful and accommodating.
We had a wonderful week at this location.
The facilities at the hotel were of a four star standard which are required when staying in Cotillo because it is a very quiet place , so relaxing around the pool and enjoying the sunshine is perfect, it was very clean and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast choices were great , we also did dine the odd evening, which was buffet style again a good choice of food , the setting is not la a carte , but for 20 euros was worth the price . We would consider returning for another break in the future.
We had a a lovely time x ALL the staff were amazing except Camilla - she was horrible and very very rude ! Avoid her ! You can’t even ask her for towels she’ll just shout at you !
Otherwise the Place is good and we had a good time. Gregorio at reception was very nice and he couldn’t do enough for us x thank you G x
Lovely hotel, clean and well kept. Lovely pool areas. Any issues dealt with quickly. Only issue was staff needed to restock food faster to prevent having to wait
Great location very handy for supermarkets, restaurants and beach Room was lovely and clean and good size with nice bathroom and shower, had an issue one night with water pressure but didn’t last long. Had a small fridge which was handy for bottled water and couple of cans. There was a coffee machine with a few pods and sugar but we used it for hot water for tea 🫖 No noise to worry about, may be nice to have an inner door as you could hear people in the corridor as the door did have a few gaps but definitely not a concern. We did have a couple of issues with the key cards and safe card but was rectified promptly my reception and maintenance. Pool was a good size and water was a good temperature but was a bit tired, few missing tiles etc and had a life guard on duty. Good choice of sunbeds with shades but some people were saving beds which was a shame but we were able to get beds each day. We were B&B and choice of breakfast was very good and tasty. We thought it was a good deal for the week with local flights from Bournemouth and staff were friendly. Would go back to hotel and been to El Cotillo loads of time!
