Where do I start. My partner and I booked a 5 night break to relax after Christmas and enjoy some winter sun. Having read the hotel had been recently refurbished and that we could have our own private swim up pool we booked our holiday and couldn’t wait to get away. On arrival we were met by reception who weren’t the most welcoming but collected our room key and went to our room. As we walked in we were a bit disappointed as the room didn’t look as nice as the pictures and as you can see from the photographs it didn’t look like it had been refurbished! We had opted for all inclusive but this wasn’t like any other all inclusive hotel we’d stayed in. Eating and drinking times were limited. Bar snacks were non existent unless you wanted to eat a mini pork burger that had been sat in an incubator for hours! Definitely not the one if you’re a veggie like me! The drinks were served in plastic cups the size of a nursery child’s cup and any ice creams/lollies had to be purchased. It said we’d have our own mini bar but this was empty so again that was disappointing. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and it wasn’t even a double just 2 single beds that were like something out of a hostel. There was clearly water leaks in the bathroom that were close to the electrics which a huge health and safety concern and the smoke detector was heavily stained with nicotine. The food was ok but again some staff in the complex were so rude and really put a damper on the whole holiday. Our TV had a smart TV remote so we thought we’d put some Netflix on but it didn’t work, I rang reception but was then told none of the TVs were smart TVs so why have the option on the remote. The only channels that worked about 20 of them were in German! The food in the restaurant was ok but was the same every night, no burgers or the normal stuff you’d expect at an all inclusive resort, again little choice if you’re a vegetarian. All in all we will never return to this hotel spending nearly €500 a night it was not worth the money and was a huge disappointment. Save your money and go somewhere else! This is a classic case of false advertisement at its finest!

Lovely area to spend new year in and weather perfect 
The New Year’s Eve buffet and party was amazing and all staff worked so hard looked so nice in the  restaurant 
Our room was lovely and so well looked after floor 3 to the right of reception 
Check in the gentleman looked like everything was too much of an effort and looked totally bored the other ladies there were fabulous and so helpful 
Food was buffet and  all tried their best but like most was lukewarm and a bit tasteless unless you chose from the grill which we did and had the most delicious prawns and  meat and the wonderful Canaries potatoes with red sauce . Desserts and cheese were also lovely 
Was upset to find the a la carte restaurant closed and were not made aware of this once booked as 7 nights buffet too much 
Lovely walk to an amazing beach where we stopped for a drink 
All in all a lovely break but just missed that wow factor we have experienced at other hotels for new year 
Don’t dismiss though as a great relaxing break with food drink sunbeds during the day and entertainment in the evening and  around the pool during the day

New years trip

Over all a very pleasant stay. Food excellent and great choice, some of the hotel needed a bit TLC( dirty bits/ peeling paint/ toilet seat chipped) the towels needed replaced as had seen better days but on saying that the level of cleanliness in the room was very good and thorough and available every day. Staff polite and friendly. Gala dinner for New Year’s Eve was very good and the staff made it very special. 
We had a swim up room which I would definitely recommend as no sun beds available in the sunny part of the main pool in the afternoon. 
Dining hall was a bit dark and not much character but food was very good with lots of choice. 
Would return especially for new year.

New year in the sun

Well what can I say. !! Had the most best holiday here. First time visit, would return. Although it was adults only, it was full of life. Daytime entertainment which got the people up and evening entertainment was so much fun just wish it lasted longer. Staff were more than helpful and friendly, could get a sun lounger anytime of the day which was great. Great choice of food even for the fussy eaters. Met some lovely people on this holiday and we have all kept in touch, even visit each other.

Chilled

Everything exceeded our expectations, especially the food. Staff were on the whole very friendly, rooms were clean with lovely sea view. Only downsides were - tiles missing off floor of pool , sone grumpy pool bar staff and the lack of availability of the a la carte restaurant. None of this spoilt the holiday though we had an amazing time as a group of 8 adults/ 4 couples.  Food really was amazing for an all inclusive
