DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Hotel basic and run down dirty carpet on balcony view was a brick wall selection of alcoholic drinks 0/10 food 0/10 staff very rude not helpful! No entertainment at all around the pool and evening entertainment was a lady singing from her phn! (One night out of 7!)

Rooms were basic, was a struggle to get them cleaned- had to ask at reception atleast twice to get towels changed atleast. Snack bar?? Got refused everytime we went to snack bar for hotdogs/burgers/toasties even though they advertised them- everytime we went they said not possible. Using plastic reusable cups was rubbish, and then at the bar inside getting given a paper cup with a beer in. Not enough staff or glasses for the amount of people who go. Moving glasses from one bar to another all the time. No entertainment on at all, sometimes on for an hour like every other night at a push. Was shown on door that entertainment started 9pm however never even started. Bar on 4th floor with entertainment always boiling hot no aircon or windows open. The ceiling in there was leaking and flooding the floor and they weren’t even bothered. No music allowed around the pool, only allowed an inflatable in one pool. Food was bland and same-y the whole time no variety, all meat was dry. One coffee/drinks machine so huge queue every meal time waiting for a drink. Restaurant was also boiling with no air conditioning. Had to get taxi/walk everywhere as was in middle of nowhere, didn’t mind that really as taxi was cheap and atmosphere was better out of the hotel people we met was nice enough and provided entertainment. overall would not go back.
Location is about an hour from airport and pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Which I wouldn’t mind if this hotel was actually a nice 4 star hotel as advertised.
I agree with a lot of other reviews in that the food wasn’t great, normally cold even if you got there when it opened . Every thing lacked flavour and a real lack of choice . Choice of drinks was really limited if you could get it served in a glass that’s a bonus . The pool side snack bar served watered down limited cocktails which actually weren’t very nice. If you wanted food/ snack I between meals you were out of luck . On offer was a selection on dried up cheese and ham and muffins . I heard other people mentioned something about toasties but I never saw anyone eating one or saw anything advertised . The hotel shop took full advantage of this and needed to take out another mortgage to buy anything . Also the sewage smell outside the shop was awful . One night they closed the lobby bar and made every one go to the bar up stairs for the entertainment. Where we queued for drinks in paper cups all while being tortured by someone screaming in a microphone. The toilets up there had no soap or toilet tissue and there were piles of paper towels all over the floor . The cleaning rota had not been signed since June . To put in to context I have been to the island a number of times and stayed in many places , and this is my true review of my stay . If you are thinking out staying here just make sure you do your research!
Worst excuse of a hotel you could ever imagine from the maximum of 5 rude staff per day to the cleaner that does not clean the hotel deserves no more than 1 star and that is being generous
The smell of raw sewage on every floor is overwhelming
3 bars but maximum 1 open at any time due to only being 1 bar staff
The food is dreadful and is also cold there is about 3 Bowles a 22 second recording of a saxophone playing on repeat and many many miserable faces sat eating nothing we would be better off staying in a high security prison for a stretch than staying here
Absolutely disgusting place I will never return
By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Location is awful, it is at least 30-35 mins walk to nearest beach. Nowhere within walking distance to go out to eat so you are stuck with the awful food at the AI buffet (overcooked, dry). Alcohol is dire, watered down spirits and the wine is undrinkable! The absolute worst incident was approaching a bar for a drink on 2nd night (unaware that AI guests will not be served after 11pm) to be screamed at by an extremely aggressive & abusive member of staff (name of Sellami) whilst smilingly serving a couple at the bar who weren't AI and therefore paying for their drinks. I felt extremely embarrassed and under attack and left in tears. Friend reported this to reception team but guess what? - NOTHING was done & there he was again at the bar on my last evening there. It appeared that English AI guests were considered inferior in some way and looked down on. Also a large number of very odd single travelling men there with lots of talk of dubious goings on!
