In a priviliged beachfront location, bordering Corralejo's natural sand dunes and just 1.7km from the centre of Corralejo, the elegant Gran Hotel Bahia Real 5* Grand Luxe enjoy spectacular views of the tiny island of Lobos and neigbouring Lanzarote. The hotel features tropical gardens, palatial reception rooms and currently boasts the best spa on the island. Situated in an independent wing of the hotel The Bahia Vital Spa provides the perfect balance between mind and body and guests have no choice but to relax. Further relaxation may be enjoyed on the golden sand beach where there are loungers and parasols for guests'use. The hotel offers six restaurants including speciality a la carte restaurants open on alternative evenings, as well as a main buffet style restaurant and the Coco Bahia Lounge & Club located directly on the beach. Young guests are well catered for with a mini club, playground, wii games area (7-14 years) .

Happy Honeymoon
My husband and I had a wonderful romantic honeymoon, we were all inclusive and enjoyed all the amenities. Food and drinks were divine, staff friendly, the cleaning service was amazing. Thank you for our champagne and chocolates left in our room 😋 Room was huge, with a lovely aspect overlooking the beach with a stunning view of Lanzarote and Lobos. Didn't try the spa but it looked lovely, pool area had a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, towels provided. A short beach walk leads you to some beautiful beach bars with a shopping vibe behind them and a sandy beach to enjoy where you could enter the sea.
Downside : Beach not accessible only from a pier with slippery steps. I could only book.one restaurant as the others were either closed or fully booked, didn't realise you would be better booking before travel. The outdoor bar overlooking the sea was closed as was the nightclub/bar.
And for this I'm rating this a 4* although everything else was 5*

Nearly there but not quite
A very nice hotel and some very friendly staff. The hotel looked good and the food in market cafe was always very tasty if sometimes a bit cold. Himitsu was an excellent experience, food and staff were incredible. I gave 4 stars as we went preferred and this experience was not as good as we have experienced in other secrets. The lounge was poorly stocked and felt like a cupboard, the room was lovely and the additional options at breakfast were good but no dedicated check in or pool area or bar, 1st world problems I know but definitely not worth the extra. Overall very good experience though.
One of the best holidays
Great hotel. Friendly staff, beach location, excellent service. We would return. Some areas of the hotel could do with a refurbishment but nothing major.
Disappointing Room and Poor Follow-Up for a Hotel of This Standard
Disappointing room and poor follow-up from a hotel of this standard.
We are currently staying at Secrets Bahía Real and, unfortunately, the room has been a real disappointment.
We booked a Deluxe Junior Suite with Balcony/Terrace and Garden View. In reality, our room faces towards the road, with a wicker-style fence directly in front of the balcony screening it off. There is effectively no view at all, and certainly not what we reasonably expected when booking something described as a “Garden View”.
My biggest issue is that this was not made clear at the time of booking. Had we known exactly what the outlook from some of these rooms was like, we could have made an informed choice — either chosen another hotel, selected a different room category or paid to upgrade before travelling. I think the hotel needs to be much clearer about this.
We did raise the issue with reception and were later shown another room, but by then we had unpacked and the alternative was only a few doors away with a slightly better outlook, so it didn't seem worth moving everything.
What has surprised us most is the lack of follow-up. Despite raising our disappointment, there has been no apology and no contact at all from senior management or guest relations. For a hotel of this quality and price point, I would have expected somebody to acknowledge the complaint and at least check that we were happy with how it had been handled. Instead, there has simply been silence.
There are certainly good aspects to the hotel, but the room description and the way our complaint has been handled have taken the shine off what should have been a special stay.
At the moment, based on our experience, I can only give it 2 out of 5.

great holiday
this hotel was lovely! the rooms were always clean and the bed was very comfortable, the staff were super friendly and helpful! the pools were good too and always able to get a sunbed, overall it was an amazing hotel and we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again
