In the spectacular dunes in the north of Fuerteventura, Spain, stands the Hotel Riu Palace Tres Islas. A beautiful hotel in a stunning location
As a frequent guest at RIU properties, I had slight reservations about the decor after reading a few online comments, especially ahead of the upcoming late-2026/early-2027 refurb. I needn't have worried. The furnishings are classic, impeccably maintained, and solid quality throughout.
The hotel's setting is phenomenal—peaceful, scenic, and easily one of the most relaxing places I’ve visited. If you want to head out, Corralejo town centre is a quick, inexpensive taxi ride (under €10) packed with shops and restaurants.
Food and drinks were top-tier with plenty of choice. Interestingly, we found the main restaurant even better than the à la carte Kristal. We will definitely be booking another stay.

Wonderful stay
Everythink was perfekt except lift I was working more than 50 years in the hotel business and I have to com,e with the compliment to your staff

Still very good after the years
We visited the hotel before renovation after 15 years where we first discovered Fuerteventura. The hotel is in years and needs renovation. But for us it was great experience. Staff was extremely welcome and it was pleasure to be there. Room (167) was absolutely OK, only the beds on wheels did some trouble. But room is clean and with great view to Lobos. As in the first floor we were not forced to use elevators all the time, what is good. But no problem. We were not visiting the pool, were on the beach or on trips, so we can not rate pool area. All inclusive is good, we had no problem with variety - to have the canary potatos twice a day was wonderful. As vegetarian/vegen we had issue with the description of the food. Why the hell are champignons in the morning vegetarian and in the evening the same champignons just with garlic vegan? What was not vegan on wok tofu? Why was plain pasta only vegetarian? And green mojo not vegan? These questions came each day and were not answered by the staff, this is the reason for 4 stars. After the first meal where vegan had no chance to survive according to their descriptions we were forced to use only our own deduction if the meal is for us OK or not. Everything else was absolutely OK and for our last visit for a long time it was great adieu with this hotel.

Fabulous stay
We had a great time at Tres Islas. Food was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Not too busy so if you have teens you may want somewhere livelier. However Correlejo is only 10 minutes away for some nightlife. Beaches are gorgeous. Rooms area little dated and run down in places but it really didn't matter to us. There are far more important aspects to a holiday than a few broken tiles in a pool. a lovely relaxing stay.

Happy stay
We as a family had a lovely time, staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel it's self, was spotless, the rooms are very dated, we understand that the hotel is being renovated in October, but that does not take away how warm and welcoming the hotel feels, one thing I would suggest using that perhaps there should be more activities to do during the day
