The family-friendly Playa Park Zensation is in the northeast of Fuerteventura - a popular destination due to its white sand beaches and typically warm weather. Set in the resort town of Corralejo, Playa Park Zensation is within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants, and it's a short walk to the nearest beach. The hotel's modern buildings are Spanish in style. They sit in tree-lined gardens surrounding the pool area.
The nearest city centre with bars, restaurants and shops can be reached in around 20 minutes walking distance (1,5 km) from Playa Park Zensation. The nearest sandy beach is approx. 800 m away. And the popular beach ”Las Dunas” can be reached in approx. 2,5 km. A shuttle service operates daily from a bus station approx. 300 m from the hotel. From Corralejo, boat trips leave for Lobos Island, where you can go snorkelling in clear waters. Down the coast from the hotel, you'll find Corralejo Natural Park, a protected coastal area with a rugged volcanic landscape in the south.
You can take a day trip to Fuerteventura's capital, Puerto del Rosario, found on the island's east coast. Here, there are shops and boutiques to browse in the pedestrianised areas, or you can admire the outdoor sculptures. At the beaches of Playa Chica or Playa Blanca you can go swimming, or relax with a drink in a bar looking out to the Atlantic while watching the surfers.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. If you're looking for recreational opportunities, you'll find an outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness centre. Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel was excellent. Had a real modern feel to it. We had a room with a garden/pool view and it was a lovely size. We had a view of the outdoor seating area and pool which was lovely to listen to the music. Only minor critique would be to have air con but the fans were modern stylish wooden fans and it did cool down after some time.
The food was amazing. The variety of food for a European hotel I was so impressed. They have come on leap and bounds. It was similar to long haul 5 star ones I’ve done with an excellent variety and quality of the food was delicious. We didn’t feel disappointed when we didn’t go out for dinner and ate at the hotel, it was actually a welcomed changed.
The receptionist were polite and we got friendly with a few of them. The safari centre rep the young lad was incredibly helpful for our excursions. The animation guys were not forceful like you get in the cheap restaurants they were so kind and respectful and really fun. The entertainment people had great fun and we did a couple of bingo and quiz nights which were a great laugh.
Would 100% recommend and return. Would say it’s one of the best hotels in Corralejo!
Whole experience of our holiday was amazing, could not fault anything. The only issue I had throughout my stay was the wifi, it would go in and out of connection so I was unable to use my phone round the pool area and bar. All the staff at the complex for each department were amazing, and made our stay enjoyable. Would recommend this place to anyone.
This was our 4th visit to Playa Park and it certainly won't be the last. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A special mention to Bob, Sergio, Samba, Amadoo, Karen, Milan and Gino for always making us feel welcome. Very spacious room with pool view and cleaned daily to a high standard. As before, the entertainment, food and drinks were to the usual high standard of this hotel. We can't wait to return ! Eric and Maragaret
Animation team really great, Jorge & Gino made our days very enjoyable. Food exceeded our expectations and restaurant staff were so good. Unfortunately our room had no air con and was very hot. The drinks in the evening bar were made with around x6 measures of spirits in each glass and were too strong to drink. Town was a 20 minute walk. All in all we had a lovely time.
George and Gino were amazing for the activities. Wish there was more activies at night. And an all day snack bar would be nice to have instead of a small selection of foods for a couple of hours. Otherwise really nice drinks The food is ok
