The family-friendly Playa Park Zensation is in the northeast of Fuerteventura - a popular destination due to its white sand beaches and typically warm weather. Set in the resort town of Corralejo, Playa Park Zensation is within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants, and it's a short walk to the nearest beach. The hotel's modern buildings are Spanish in style. They sit in tree-lined gardens surrounding the pool area.
The nearest city centre with bars, restaurants and shops can be reached in around 20 minutes walking distance (1,5 km) from Playa Park Zensation. The nearest sandy beach is approx. 800 m away. And the popular beach ”Las Dunas” can be reached in approx. 2,5 km. A shuttle service operates daily from a bus station approx. 300 m from the hotel. From Corralejo, boat trips leave for Lobos Island, where you can go snorkelling in clear waters. Down the coast from the hotel, you'll find Corralejo Natural Park, a protected coastal area with a rugged volcanic landscape in the south.
You can take a day trip to Fuerteventura's capital, Puerto del Rosario, found on the island's east coast. Here, there are shops and boutiques to browse in the pedestrianised areas, or you can admire the outdoor sculptures. At the beaches of Playa Chica or Playa Blanca you can go swimming, or relax with a drink in a bar looking out to the Atlantic while watching the surfers.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. If you're looking for recreational opportunities, you'll find an outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness centre. Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Had the best week. Staff happy helpful Food was great for all inc fresh and well cooked. The whole complex was spotless We were real happy with our room large and very clean We found everyone was happy to join in the activities and we enjoyed the evening entertainment especially the 3 boys singing they were brilliant
We had a very enjoyable time here. The hotel staff were very accommodating. Our room was very nice with a pool view . We really enjoyed the food which had an extensive range of dishes to eat . The entertainment team Gino and Jorge were great fun and had fun games for everyone to partake in . The entertainment at night was great , with quizes and bingo every night and great acts especially the Elvis tribute and the African acrobats who were amazing. We had a very memorable experience on holiday and will definitely be back .
Excellent check in, we were a late flight only snacks available after 2130, disappointed as most hotels open till 2230. Very satisfied with zensation room. Overlooking pool with aircon. Food quality was excellent with wide range of choices at every sitting. The desserts especially good. Pool clean and surroundings attentive by lifeguards. The entertainment team were excellent especially Gino who was very enthusiastic and engaged everyone, bringing children into the games. Even had a special visit from Santa. We had a leaking toilet which was repaired within the hour, and maintenance returned in evening to check too. Parking is only available on either rough ground or in surrounding streets. Just the white dotted boxes, not yellow ones. A proper car park would improve things for people with hire cars, as sometimes parking was a challenge. The hotel has an excellent gym with an Olympic weight set, but disappointing is only open 830-1330. This could be improved with a key lock. I didn’t see the point of the juice bar and saw no one use it in a fortnight. Would we stay again? Absolutely, area fine 1km to town easy access to popcorn beach. Consistent good value with great staff
Just returned this morning, we have had an amazing time, room, food, staff and location was just perfect, l would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.
Love this hotel, this is my 7th time at Playa Park Zensation. The hotel is always really clean, a wide choice of food at every meal time and snakes between meals. Staff are amazing, special shout out to Gino and Jorge for the games and night entertainment, they a good laugh. Hotel is a 10-15min walk from the high street but also has a mini shopping complex just round the corner. Already booked for my 8th visits next year
