This apartment complex enjoys a peaceful location surrounded by tropical gardens, just 500 metres from Corralejo Beach. 500 m away, guests will find Baku Water Park, the village centre, the traditional market and 2 shopping centres. The spectacular sand dunes can be found within 2 km, as well as a ferry port, from which ferries depart for Lobos and Lanzarote. This hotel is ideal for couples, groups and families.

Grand Kids Loved It
Great time away. Came here last year as a Couple this year brought Grand Children Boys 7&9. Mentioned last year a Cheap & Cheerful place. Well Situated for Shops, Restaurants & Beach. Staff in Cafe work tirelessly and Poolside. No trouble getting beds and Food was really well presented. Boys loved the Pancakes, Nutella & Fruit. The negative or honest feedback is €150 deposit required on arrival. Can’t get my head around that? You do get it back last day depending on flight time. What if you have budgeted for each day and you can’t give the €150? If it’s just in case there is damage to room well that’s fair enough but the rooms are very dated so damage would not be that obvious to be honest. Paying for Safety Deposit Box €12 is understandable but add that to the cost of holiday when paying for it and having to pay for Kettle, Remote Control for Television is not really fair although we did not use either but if used would have to pay. Would recommend if you wanted a Competitively Priced Holiday.
Pleasant stay
We stayed here for 11 nights. The apartments are traditional and basic. The bed was comfortable although I think they should do away with the sofa bed in the living room and make it a proper second bedroom as it a family suite we had booked.
We knew we would be requested to pay a 150€ deposit on arrival as we booked with Jet2Holidays and it said at time of booking, it was no issue as we got it back when we checked out.
The apartment was well maintained and cleaned everyday expect a Sunday. We did have to request a towel change as they weren’t changed the first week but after speaking to the receptionist it was done right away.
We hired two fans as there is no air conditioning. It was 2€ per day for each fan to hire and we left all the windows and doors open at night as we were in an upstairs apartment.
The pool area is pretty chill and you can get sun loungers anytime throughout the day. No need to be down reserving them. If you do reserve them you are only given 15 mins to return and they will remove your towels. The cafe bar at the pool is good, it serves lovely food and drinks until 5pm.
The Maxorata is next to everything the resort has to offer. Only a few minutes walk to the beach including popcorn beach,shops and bars and everything else Corralejo has to offer. We went on the ferry to Lanzarote for the day which was really good.
We only used our apartment to sleep, shower and get changed in. We had breakfast on the balcony a few times which was nice. We ate out every night so we weren’t using the apartment to cook in. We had no issues with cockroaches.
We had a really pleasant stay.

The location
Maxorata has a very Nice location and everything u need. The interior is a bit outdated but overall very decent hotel
Sadly gone down hill
Stayed here many time before and loved it. However after this year I will not be staying again or recommending. Firstly the reception staff ( Isis) was very rude and unprofessional. We had an early flight home before reception opened. I was advised I needed to collect the £150 the night before between 6pm.and 10pm. I explained to Isis, that as it was our last night we had made plans to go out. I was happy for her to inspect our room that we could go out as planned, and spend the (my) £150 euros on some last minute goodies. Isis was so rude in the way she told us this was not possible. We had to cut our night short and leave our friends in the restaurant to go and collect my money, only for Isis to be stood with a smirk on her face and say "chop chop" hurry up. Absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend this pace again Secondly there is the cockroach issue with bottom floor rooms. Thirdly, the pool bar has been taken over by a new family, who bring family and friends round each weekend, I have no problem with this, it nice to spend time with family and friends. The problem I had were their children were diving in the pool and slash g the paying guests, to the point people were getti g up and going. The lift guard asked them to stop and this was totally ignored. We love Corralejo as a resort and will return, however not here. I can't believe the difference in 12 months.
Better places to stop
Disappointed with this apartment , no kettle for 3 days after asking , handy man kept saying use pan on stove , Cockroaches in room asked cleaner for more toilet roll she said not on list manager was more helpful , then been asking to keep room on daily for late check out was told each time ask on last day. Asked on last day cannot have yet neighbour next door got it free because she Complained , receptionist said we can sit in pool bar for 4 hours with are cases if we buy food drink , got extra list and photos to report once home
