- Las Marismas De Corralejo

Las property opened in 2003 and welcomes you with a very special architectural design. Enjoy the luminous rooms, with spacious terraces and balconies, as well as the Canarian and international food the establishment offers in its restaurants. You will also enjoy the spectacular pools, all surrounded by beautiful gardens that imitate different elements of the special landscape of Fuerteventura. Have a walk in the sunny days and rest under the fauna. You can find olive trees, palm trees, cactus and the native landscape called “Malpaís”. Take a relaxing walk and surprise yourself with the unexpected places and exotic plants you will find.
This was our second visit. The hotel grounds are lovely and everywhere is clean. We were bed and breakfast, there is a very good selection of food available. The breakfast restaurant manager is quite rude. We had diner one night and for me it was the worst meal of the holiday. The rooms are hot at night as only a ceiling fan. The lounge beds are very uncomfortable.
But it’s a great location and a good price.
Another Great stay at Las Marismas with my 14 year old daughter. Bed & Breakfast for 12 nights. Good points Spacious apartment, cleaned and beds re made at least every other day, sometimes everyday. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Good on site shop with freshly baked goods, drinkks and snacks. Pools were great, nice temperature. Grounds and gardens are well kept. No shortage of places to eat in the town, didnt have a bad meal. Grandes playa beach is brilliant and far superior to the town beach, 8 euro in a taxi. Bad points: none ive stayed here multiple times over the years and can never fault it, the staff are always helpful and friendly.
Hotel overall was great. Room: we were self catering and had a room right by reception. It was a bit dated but big and spotless with an excellent shower , no air con but we knew that and there were ceiling fans and a lockable screen which meant you could let the cool air in and keep the bugs out so we were fine (and I hate being too hot!). We had a terrace and it was big, it wouldn’t have suited those that like a view (we had one of the car park) but we didn’t care - it was also a bit noisy but again it was okay. Cleaned most days. Pool: 3 pools (one is a splash one for the little ones) all clean. One of the best things was that there were no mega early dash to reserve sunbeds- we used to go down around 9am and there was always a good choice, less choice after around 10am but could usually find at least one. Food and drink : we only had lunch and it was average but edible. Drinks in the evening were okay, bar service was okay, one annoying thing was that any food and drink was added to your room so make sure you keep track. Other hotel facilities: onsite shop was good value and handy but shuts at 7.30pm. Entertainment was what you would expect, above average singers - we usually only caught the end of it. Mini golf was free and really good and the grounds were immaculate with lots of well maintained planting. Location : a little further out than some hotels but still only a 5 minute walk to the top of the strip and 10 minutes down to the centre (taxis were 6-7 euros and reception were happy to order them). There is a few bars & restaurants a little closer going the other way - shout out to PJs bar who did great and cheap pasta dishes. Water park is on the doorstep (we walked it in 10 mins). Around a great holiday and I would return.
Just returned from a week stay. We had a great time location is perfect grounds amazing. Mini mart on site with lovely staff. Not overly busy sunbeds everyday no reserving. (This did make us feel we all couldn’t go into the pool at the same time) so maybe a warning card before just removing towels. I found around the pool lovely and relaxing some guests did mention the lack of music but I had no issue with it. Room cleaning schedule could be made clearer no as we never knew if the room was going to be done and often when we had enough of the sun and wanted to return late in the day the cleaners were just arriving. NOTE all purchases at the hotel get charged to your room to be paid on departure. The room itself was spacious a little dated but clean. (We did have some unpleasant residue in the bath I assume from a previous guest not the cleaners fault as I even tried to remove) We didn’t go to the hotel entertainment in the evenings but recommend McChartys Irish bar cocktail in Waikiki gamers family revenge bar music square. Now a few negatives/tips 1.) If you’re arriving early make sure to be prepared to wait until 5pm for your room. We were early and although we were told check in was 5 and have got previous hotel rooms before check in it was very close to 5 made our first day feel wasted. (Partly are fault as we didn’t expect to wait so long) but feel the hotel could improve on the preparation for arrivals by having vacant rooms a priority to be ready. 2.) No aircon ceiling fans just didn’t cut it and I’m not one for feeling the heat. We hired a fan (better but not enough) used locked fly screen door however a few story’s didn’t make me comfortable using this option! Some guests told us about an aircon machine from an outside company wish I knew this earlier. 3.) as I mentioned we had no room so when we went to the pool bar we went up ordered and paid with card. Later in the day fed up waiting on the room and been up since 2am we went to get lunch as we approached the bar I seen a pizza menu earlier I had seen snacks the staff member asked were we ok I said about menu she pointed at the pizza menu I asked was that all she then snapped about only having two hands (yes she had glasses I was only asking was pizza the only option a simple il just put these away and get you one or tell me where I would see it) then when we went to order she said no from the table assuming they must have qr codes and not seeing any we said how she said sit at table it’s like restaurant bearing in mind we ordered at the bar earlier had not checked in so didn’t know the set up. We sat down for over 10mins no drinks or anything so as this was our first impression it wasn’t a good one!!!! (However we never went to the bar again normally we would use the pool bar during the day but this put us off) we did have lunch each day outside the pool bar.
SPECIAL MENTION Every lunch time we were served by Netty I think was her name (blond lady) and after the experience in the pool bar on the first day she was a pleasure very busy lady but a great worker and lovely service.
Family of 5 and part of a larger group of 16. Kids ages between 10 to 21, 6 parents. We were self catering apartments only. The hotel its self is a little dated but I would describe it as well maintained, clean and tidy considering its age. The grounds are simple to navigate and the overall design is good. We did not use the buffet restaurant at all based on previous reviews but we did eat everyday at the pool snack bar, which to be honest was much better than we were expecting, it was extremely well priced, fresh and the portions were a good size. For €6 you could get scrambled eggs 4 bits of bacon, toast, side salad and a tea or coffee. This was excellent value considering it was fresh and the portion size. The pool bar drinks were also reasonably priced and off a good quality. We spent 7 nights and had breakfast everyday and lunch snacks, drank in the afternoon with friends and the bill was €630, which I believe is fantastic value for money. There are lots of vending machines around the grounds for chocolates, crisps and drinks also, one even had 1.5lt bottles of water. The supermarket was very good, lots drinks and snacks, a fresh bakery and hardware items for beach and pool, again this was well priced. Next door to the supermarket is the gym which was the biggest surprise! The gym was large and had plenty of equipment to cover all exercise needs, free weights, cables, resistance, benches, plates, smith machine...very good considering we have stayed in much higher rated hotels and the gyms and equipment did not come close to what was on offer here. The only downside is...the heat, there is no air conditioning and you will perspire a great deal! My tip is make sure you take a towel to lay on the benches, there is cleaning equipment but it does get slippy! The rooms are large and there is lots of storage but not enough hangers, we had 6. The TV's did not work but we did not come on holiday to watch TV and it it is placed in the lounge area opposed to bedroom. The beds were comfy, 2 pillows each, but no plug sockets near bedside tables for phones, I would bring a multi USB adapter charger as there was only one plug socket in the bedroom. Now you will of probably read that there is no air conditioning in the rooms but there are ceiling fans, I have to say this was the biggest let down in the hotel. The rooms were very warm and it was difficult to sleep, we had the doors open through the night and the mosquito shutters closed, not sure how I would feel if on a ground floor leaving doors open to try and get some air circulating. The bathrooms were large and water pressure in shower was excellent, there are some shower gel and shampoos provided in little plastic bottles but no hand soap which we got from supermarket. In the bathroom is a hairdryer and large mirror but no make up/shaving mirror and the sink vanity is quite deep. In the bedrooms the wardrobes are mirrored to check out your outfit for the night or do your make up. Maid service, they will come and change your bathroom towels but not pool towels. They do a basic service and do not make the beds, we were laying on top of sheets anyway. The kitchen area we did not use, but you have a fridge/freezer, hob, sink and kitchen utensils. Service, upon arrival at reception was friendly, the pool bar was hit and miss sometimes friendly sometimes we felt like an inconvenience, but found if you empathised with the bar staff about how hard they were working they appreciated it and in turn treated you nicer. In general you do not see many hotel colleagues at all and seemed to run on minimal staff, I did not see any management walking the grounds checking on guests or directing the team. In my view the pool bar was understaffed, and one person extra would of made a huge difference to the service and the pressure placed upon the one member serving. Sometimes we would take our used plates up when we were done to make her feel valued and appreciated. Sun beds, we had no issues, they are wooden ones and you add a padded topper to them, these are removed nightly and cleaned. Tips: Gym is a definite plus point and should be featured more, multi USB plug for phone chargers, make up mirror, buy or bring hand soap, pool bar food could not be faulted, supermarket is useful, use the pool bar for food/snacks, ask for additional fans at reception if your room is to warm. External to hotel across the road is a Padel court complex (1 minute) and mini golf (2 minutes) and the waterpark (10 minutes, as entrance is on other side. When walking outside of the hotel you have to watch out for electric scooters, they are everywhere with little or no regard for pedestrians, they are meant to stick to 5mph but 25+ seemed the norm and you don't hear them coming, if with younger kids keep an eye on where they are walking. The main strip is 10 minutes away and will take 30 mins to walk to the end and the marina. Restaurants at the marina end or old town we found to be better quality than the ones at the start of the strip. The bars and restaurants on the sea front did nice drinks but food let them down, more about location we found for these. I hope this helps...
