Hesperia Apartments Bristol Player
Came here for 10 day with Jet2 from 27th July. The hotel facilities were clean and tidy, our room was only cleaned once during our stay, but I wouldn't say this was a big deal. The onsite supermarket and pool bar were reasonably priced, although, if you want to buy beer, i would suggest a little walk to the hyperdino up the road, nearly half the price.
We found a huge lack of sunbeds during our first week, and although on check in we were told " no reserva sunbeds!" Hmmm, you need to be up early and get them, otherwise, you will luck out! To be fair, on our second week the hotel seemed more chilled with a few less people, on getting up people were still hovering around the stacks of sunbeds, waiting for them to be unlocked, but you could still aquire a few later on.
Had issues with noise from the Bristol bar up till 3am on the Friday night/Saturday morning, rave music, singing, shouting. None of the hotel staff seemed to do anything about it, i can honestly say I was a bit annoyed, i would have been even more miffed if this had woke my daughter.
There is plenty to do if you fancy a walk, so you certainly not restricted to the hotel, thankfully.
Would I visit the hotel again?? Definitely not, but i would certainly go back to Correljo.

Just ok. Loud live music.
Mixed experience. The apartment had pros and cons. It was in a good location and there were plenty of facilities on the resort such as the shop and launderette. But the lack of air con was a drawback. The biggest problem for me was the live music. I get that it is within the guidelines but loud music blaring until 1am when you have a child and need to keep the windows open because there is no air con is a joke. Also we were positioned right next to the bar area so there was zero getting away from it. Even with earplugs, windows and doors closed it was so loud. It is the main reason we wouldn't go back to this resort. One night the singer was actually sat outside of the bar performing so it was even louder.

Enjoyable stay, better than expected!
We stayed for 10 days at Hesperia Bristol Playa and we had a great time, I was a bit hesitant after reading some reviews, and I had considered changing accommodation because of them but I was pleasantly surprised once we arrived.
We had a sea view apartment on the second floor (room 256), it was spacious and clean (lacking in attention to detail in minor areas such as a bit of rust on piping, and dust inside plug outlets but I’ve found that to be the case in almost every place I’ve stayed including 4 star hotels, it’s not a problem for me whatsoever), we did have a few tiny ants in the apartment too but keeping on top of cleaning and using lavender oil as a deterrent seemed to keep them at bay (I’ve also had ant issues in 5 star hotels..). I was expecting a lot worse based on the reviews that I had read and that fact that it is a 3 star accommodation.
Everything was in good working order, you can request clean linen, towels, etc from reception/cleaning staff, and the shower was amazing.
I rented a fan for my stay as there is no air con but the room was cooler than I expected and I didn’t need the fan on for the entire night (I slept on the sofa bed in the living room), the bedroom was warmer though.
The view from the room was lovely, day or night, the sky was so clear and full of stars, it was nice and peaceful to just sit out and enjoy it.
We used the apartment mainly as a base and spent most of our time enjoying Corralejo, we stayed by the pool area a couple of times and had no issues, the grounds and buildings are pretty to look at, the smoothies and cocktails from the pool bar were fab!
The staff were friendly and helpful, they all seemed to work really hard.
The location is great, close to the harbour, the old town, etc.
I also got a deep tissue massage from the on site massage parlour, I would highly recommend, it has done my back wonders, I didn’t realise how much pain I was used to being in, and I’ve been pain free ever since.
I rate it 5/5 because we couldn’t fault our stay, I expected a lot less based on the price point and some of the reviews that I had read, I usually wouldn’t of booked somewhere like this but this stay has changed my mind, I would return in the future.

Great apartment
Room was great with a balcony and sea view, we had room cleaned once in a 10 day stay but also a towel refresh and more Toilet roll on a separate occasion ( we didn't ask for that). Pool area super clean with plenty of sunbeds and with 3 pools never felt too busy. Location we found was great, for us a ten minute walk to the town either old town or new going different ways. Shop on site not that more expensive ( their morning pastries are lovely). Onsite diner was ok too though we only ate their once . All in all I would definitely recommend, personally we thought it was better than a two star plus and I would definitely return.
Family holiday
We took our 12 year old son on his first holiday abroad to Fuerteventura. We stayed at Hesperia Apartments Bristol Playa Corralejo We all had a great time. The apartment was very clean. All staff were were lovely, friendly & very helpful. The food at the pool bar was lovely served by happy friendly staff. Highly Recommend. We will be booking again for next year 🌞🏖
