Located in one of the most emblematic areas of Fuerteventura, 300 metres from the white sand beaches of Corralejo and next to the Parque Natural de las dunas de Corralejo, the H10 Ocean Suites is an exclusive hotel, completely renovated, with an elegant and modern interior. Spacious Junior Suites are available and there are extensive gardens with native vegetation, large salty and heated pools in winter and an array of restaurants and bars with terraces. There is also are a paddle tennis court, a multi-purpose sports court and a varied entertainment programme.The elegant Junior Suites of the H10 Ocean Suites have a total of 35 m2 and include a bedroom, a lounge and a balcony or terrace. Light colours and marine motifs dominate the interior decor. They can offer a double bed or twin beds and views of the garden or pool. Suites are equipped with every convenience to guarantee a pleasant stay.
On arrival it was felt the hotel was amazing. However, things soon started to go downhill. On our first day the pools were closed down by the Council because of issues with the pumps. They remained closed for 4 days because they were unfit for purpose. We were offered waterpark tickets or access to sister hotels. Our bedding was only changed after 5 days when we reported it hadn't been changed. The floors in the rooms were not clean and the patio areas were not swept or cleaned all the time of our stay. There was one customer relations manager, Glen, who serious needs to go on some customer relations courses because they way he dealt with the pool issue was rude and offensive. When asked if the pool was open his reply was "well,, there are people in them". A simple polite "yes" or "no" would have sufficed. I wouldn't touch this hotel with a barge pole!
Booked this hotel for 2 weeks. Upon arrival everything seemed great, the first week was brilliant. Pros- the staff are amazing and attentive the snack bar is delicious with plenty of options the drink choices are excellent the rooms are very spacious hotel is an amazing location Cons- the cleanliness is not 4*. there was many cockroaches that weren’t getting picked up and just left for days one morning for breakfast there was dead cockroaches on the floor that didn’t get moved and one crawling out of the oven one evening we sat outside the restaurant to eat and a small mouse was running about. this led to us eating out the rest of the week the pools were dirty. definitely weren’t cleaned even though they said they were an inspection led to the pools being closed the last few days of our holiday due to not being cleaned and a ‘mechanical’ failure the cleaners were good at changing towels and making beds however they mopped the floor with dirty water and didn’t clean the balcony no cleaning around the pool area or the paths witnessed a cleaner smash a glass bottle outside the room and didn’t clean up the broken glass so had to report it to reception came back one afternoon to find the cleaner had taken the shower door off its hinge somehow when they don’t clean the shower
Overall, I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend. The staff keep this hotel going but the cleanliness lets it down
Top hotel. All things spot on in a lovely resort. Entertainment is not great but food pools and rooms are excellent
Currently staying at H10 ocean suite Our holiday was 7 days on day 4 of our holiday both pools was taken out of use due to filter issues. No communication from either hotel or jet2 apart from text offering water park or day pass to an already crowded sister hotel. This was our 4th time at this hotel and sadly will be our last as we feel it has ruined our holiday
H10 it does what it says on the tin. We’ve been to several H10 hotels in the past and this hits the spot. Nice environment, courteous staff and consistent delivery of food and drink. Our go to hotel group. We went all inclusive and I felt we had a good value experience. We’re not one’s to stray far so it suited us. A special mention to Dario on the bar, a great asset to the H10 group.
