H10 Ocean Dreams Boutique Hotel

This was our second visit to this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. On arrival we asked if we could upgrade our room to a pool view deluxe room, which they had no problem in arranging. It did cost 70 euros, but was well worth the money. The hotel is in a quiet location, but just a couple of minutes stroll from all the bars, restaurants and shops. Will be returning and would certainly recommend.

My husband and I booked this hotel as a package with ‘Loveholidays’ quite late. We booked a pool view room We emailed the hotel to ask for a higher floor and they obliged. Thank you. We arrived at night and never got the “glass of champagne”! Our room was lovely. Large entrance hall with wardrobes and free safe. No door into the bedroom. Huge comfortable bed and pillows. Amazing! Wall mounted tv. Huge heavy hanging bedside lamps. Fridge. Coffee maker, kettle and cups. Chair and soft stool. Brilliant air con but WiFi dodgy. Bathroom with two sinks and walk in shower. Shower was very good but the base leaked onto the floor and we kept having to mop up. Very heavy sliding bathroom door. The balcony had a lovely view of the pool but overlooked the downstairs room’s balconies but not a problem. We found the balcony table too low. Pull out clothes drier which was handy. Our Cleaner ( JLO.. she reminded us of Jennifer Lopez) was brilliant. Came every day and obliged if we were in the room and just gave us clean towels and toilet roll etc. We found a big problem with the bottle glass tiles in the outer wall of the entrance hall letting light in very early. We solved this by buying a roll of black bags from the supermarket and wedging one in each tile. Perfect! The pool was large and spotless and plenty of sun beds with brollies and tables. Entertainment by singers on the poolside stage a couple of times a week and water based work outs in the pool. Must mention that there is a very slippery area from the pool shower to the pool. There is a “ Slippery Floor” sign but please be careful. There wasn’t a poolside bar, just a bar in the reception area with indoor and outdoor tables. Entertainment by singers in there on an evening but too early for us. Bar staff were lovely and helpful. The reception area smelled lovely ( we went across to the Ocean Suites opposite and the reception area reeked of sewage! 😫… so glad we didn’t book there).

Breakfast was downstairs but we didn’t rate it much. Even though it was “all in “we preferred the English breakfast across the road at the Chinese street bar . We never used the Thalasso Centre. The hotel is very near to everything and a short walk to the beaches and the Music Square. Would highly recommmend. Oh how I long to still be there!

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we found it amazing could not fault it. The location is great as you are right near the main street. The atmosphere was fantastic it is very relaxing and and very laid back. Our room was really nice could not fault it. It was clean and very comfortable. I found it really relaxing after coming back from a walk and into an air conditioned room it was great. Me and the wife found it worth every penny and for the service you get from such amazing staff even though we were only bed and breakfast it was worth it. Noise levels we did not hear anything even when we were here the first time. We loved the pool found it very refreshing after we had been for walks along the main street. It was well maintained and always clean i never wanted to leave. We hope to come back as we have signed up for the new H10 rewards loyalty program
