Another amazing holiday!!
This is the 4th time staying!
It's so chilled, this year there was sun bed and umbrella wars. Waiting from 8.30 for pool to open at about 9.30. Didn't bother us because we just got up when we wanted and used the chairs/bed on terrace if we even stayed by the pool as there are beautiful beaches within walking distance or bus ride away. Was amusing to watch the rush for the same beds though 😆
Just to note if it does become an issue reception are more than happy to remove towels and sent notes to each room after the gates were breached one morning 😄
Apartments are clean and basic with everything you need.
Perfect location and value if you want a chilled relaxed atmosphere.
Same staff all the times we have been who are wonderful and helpful, cannot stress how much they make a difference to the general chilled and family vibe.
I don't care about any of the reviews saying dated or needs anything, for us it's perfect. The bathrooms have however been updated, I love them! The staff work exceptionally hard from reception, maintenance, housekeeping, bar and pool staff and its always clean.
Top tips El Cotillo is definitely worth a visit. Check the weather before heading to the flag beach. If its too windy you can't go in the sea and you get sandblasted.
Dune buggies are fantastic trip as is catamaran to lobos.

Enjoyable family holiday
Location of apartments is great, just set back off strip and close to beach. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had two apartments close together which was great. Pool is lovely, I agree with comments could do with more sunbeds but to be fair lots of people guilty of leaving towels on sunbeds and not there for hours. We went to use pool but didn't stay long as we enjoy being out and about. The pool bar food was good and happy hour was an added bonus 3-4pm. Apartments are dated but are clean and have everything you need and are comfortable. We would return here in the future. As we were a late flight and apartments fully booked you can book a slot at reception to use shower which was helpful.
Good location, great pool and gardens, not so good on the sun bed rush!
Positives - Staff on the front desk very polite and helped us with ironing board, extra pillows and hangers. Gardens are lovely with mature trees and plants. Location is great just off the main strip so good access to beach and shops. Pool is a great size.
Negatives - Rooms are dated, sofa bed in front room was not comfortable at all. Bathroom was very dated. Sunbeds - Well for me I don't like a morning rush for beds, people were resorting to jumping the gates just to get a sunbed in the morning. (There are locked gates that are opened 1 by 1 to give access to the pool at 9.20/9.30). I can't do this on a holiday, its not relaxing at all. More beds could sort this problem, also not enough umbrellas. It was dog eat dog at 9.30 but then settled down 'if' you got a bed.

Comfortable accommodation in a great location
Stayed for 12 nights. Excellent location - easy access to shops, bars, restaurant and beach. Apartments very clean with new bathrooms. Very friendly staff. Pool bar open during the day with happy hour 3 - 4 (beer and Sangria 2 for 1). Issue with sunbed reservation where people then don’t turn up for hours.

Another Fab visit
Another fantastic stay! 2nd time here and once again a fab holiday, took my mum (73) and two 16 yr olds and these apartments are perfectly located for everybody. Very central to the main strip, the girls were happy enough making their own way around, mum felt very safe if she wanted to return earlier than us on an evening. The whole team of staff at Fuentepark work so hard both inside and outside keeping everywhere clean and tidy. Pia on reception couldn't do enough for us on arrival and we were given two rooms together on the ground floor which I had requested. The apartments were spotlessly clean and so well equipped, yes still a little dated but our apartments had the new bathrooms which were a huge improvement. The pool refurb was great and a big difference. a little annoying about how many people queued to reserve sunbeds on a morning and then didn't appear until much later but we still managed to always get a bed. the first half of our 10 day stay the pool area was lovely and quiet but by the time we were nearing the end it was getting very busy with smaller kids and was quite noisy, no reflection on the apartments I just know now to maybe go a little earlier.... First time hiring a car this time and will defo do it again, took a day trip around nearly the whole island and there are so many lovely places to visit. We also did a 4 hour catamaran trip with Lobos In Catamaran which I would highly recommend and not forgetting the many lovely meals we had all over town!
Roll on November till we are back! :)
