Barcelo Corralejo Sands

Recently returned from here after a weeks stay half board.. we had emailed the hotel about a pool view room if possible and close to reception as the complex goes a fair way back. We didn’t expect to get room as requested but it was honoured and we got our pool view room. The hotel is well situated 5 min walk to the Main Street and all Corralejo amenities. The room was great with good air con and good WiFi. Housekeeping changed sheets and towels and room expertly cleaned each day.. our room was spotless! The food was excellent probably the best we have ever had at a hotel and we are frequent visitors to Corralejo. We have done all inclusive, b+b half board and self catering now.. we would return to this hotel but probably do just b+b next time as sometimes had to queue for evening meal and shown to table then waiter service for drinks.. we are used to just getting our own.. breakfast was not like this and you could choose where you sat and self service for drinks etc. Pool area was very clean.. the staff are all excellent here and they and the reception staff could not do enough for you and were friendly and approachable so top marks here. We wanted to cancel our transfer back to the airport on leaving and this was done for us with no issues so top marks there! Pool is salt water but didn’t really bother us. Pool not open till 9am there were small queues waiting for the life guard to open the pool area and sun beds were filled quickly but it was 1st week of school holidays so was busy it may not be like that at less busy times.. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here.

We just returned from a week staying all inclusive at the hotel. We stayed in a family suite, which was perfect for our family of two adults and a 14 year old. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The entertainment team was excellent, especially Axel (we think that was his name. He had blue hair!). The woman in the lunch restaurant who said 'hola chicos' (sorry, didn't get her name) was really lovely too. The food was always good, and we liked that there was a cabinet for all-inclusive guests to help themselves from as well as he a la carte lunch menu. We really liked that the shops are so close too.

We had a fantastic stay at Barceló Corralejo Sands as an all-inclusive family in a Family Suite. From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel so welcome. They were always friendly, approachable and happy to help with any questions, making check-in and our whole stay effortless.

Our Family Suite was spacious, comfortable and a great size for the three of us. It was well maintained and provided everything we needed for a relaxing holiday.

The food throughout our stay was excellent, with plenty of choice, but the standout for us was the à la carte lunch option. A special thank you to Fernanda and Carlos, who were incredibly friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to help both me and my 15-year-old daughter practise and improve our Spanish, which made our meals even more enjoyable and memorable.

The absolute highlight of our holiday, however, was the amazing animation team. Axxel, Lily and Safy were simply outstanding. They looked after us every single day and evening with endless enthusiasm, energy and genuine warmth. They made every activity fun and engaging, encouraged everyone to get involved, and created such a brilliant atmosphere around the hotel. They are all genuinely lovely people who clearly love what they do, and they made a huge difference to our holiday.

Thank you to everyone at Barceló Corralejo Sands for such a wonderful family holiday. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to return again in the future!
