We had a great stay a couple of months ago. The hotel was spotlessly clean and in a great location. We loved the infinity pool and looking out to sea. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach, and the area is very peaceful. We found all of the staff friendly, even some of the slightly grumpier bar staff took the time to remember my order every time I went up. There are two pools, and hot tubs/beds on the roof. The food was pretty good most of the time, with a huge selection at breakfast. The cakes were some of the best all inclusive cakes I've had (they actually tasted like real cakes). The entertainment was a bit hit and miss for us, but we still had good fun. The musicians are so talented, and should be allowed to sing whatever they want rather than catering to an older British crowd (I say that as a Brit myself). The guy who comperes/life guards/generally entertains didn't seem to have a day off in the 7 days we were there, he deserves a raise! Our room was spacious and spotless, we managed to get a room that was the furthest from the bar, so we had little to no noise, and the air con was fab.
A few negatives, but nothing that deserves any major complaints. The cocktails are out of a machine and weren't for me, but my partner liked them. The sunbed issue was annoying, but by the 2nd day we managed to get by the infinity pool everyday. I agree towels should be removed an hour or two after breakfast if people aren't using them at all.
This is a very affordable 4 star hotel, so I think the complaints are massively over the top. It's also really, really close to the airport. There is a shower/luggage room, and we were allowed to use the all inclusive on the day we checked out until our evening flight.
We had a wonderful time, thank you!
We had the best holiday! A relaxed atmosphere with plenty of activities provided by the amazing Said! All food offerings were delicious and varied each day. I will definitely be returning!
never ever go here whatv a very odd hotel, not allowed to moove sun beds the entertainer was very bolshy and rude the food was dreadful and you could never get a seat around infinity pool
During my stay, I found a hard, translucent, shard-like object in my food, which I believed could have been glass. I immediately alerted staff, who took the plate away and later told me it was simply a large grain of salt.
I found this difficult to accept as the object was extremely hard, not salty at all, and had a shard-like appearance. Unfortunately, the staff dropped/disposed of the object before I could examine it myself, so I was unable to verify what it actually was.
I also reported the incident to reception, where I was simply given an apology. The experience completely put me off eating the rest of my dinner. Fortunately, it happened on my last day, as I would otherwise have felt very uncomfortable eating at the hotel again.
I feel this was a serious food-safety concern and deserved a more thorough investigation than a simple apology.
