Our stay here with our two grandchildren and other family was very enjoyable. Can’t fault the hotel on much at all other than the air conditioning wasn’t on in bar area or restaurant and as Calima ( very hot weather caused by dust ) was with us we could have done with it on . The middle size pool was very slippery to get into if you didn’t go round to the steps to get in , saw many people slip either into the water or around the edge of the pool . There was always plenty of choice for food in the restaurant, some days better than others , typical of all inclusive. Jet 2 advertised the all inclusive as local and branded drinks however you had to pay extra for branded drinks . These are only little niggles as all in all the hotel was lovely and we had a brilliant time . P s you must watch the lion king show it was amazing , our granddaughter now wants to see the show in the west end
As a couple, we absolutely love Fuerteventura, but this was our first time staying in Caleta de Fuste — and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of the Elba Sara.
We booked 7 nights all-inclusive and absolutely loved our stay.
Getting to the hotel from the airport was super easy, with a taxi costing around €16. Check-in was lovely and welcoming, and the lady on reception gave us some really useful information about the hotel and surrounding area.
We were initially wondering if we should have upgraded to a priority sea view, but honestly, our standard sea view room was more than good enough. We stayed in room 432, which had an amazing view. The room itself was a really good size, with a big bathroom, and we were very happy with it. A special thanks to the cleaners who do a great job. The only major negative for us was the Wi-Fi, which was pretty awful and had a very weak signal.
The pool area was great, and despite the hotel being quite busy, there were always sun loungers available. There were, of course, the typical morning sunbed hoggers, but it never really caused us a problem.
The food was probably one of the biggest highlights for us. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all really good, and honestly, it was probably some of the best all-inclusive food we’ve had at a hotel.
The location was also fantastic. There’s a beach just a 2-minute walk away, while the main beach is around a 10-minute walk. We actually preferred the smaller, closer beach as it was quieter and really lovely. There’s also a nice little shopping centre right next to the hotel, which was really convenient.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay at the Elba Sara and would definitely come back to Fuerteventura and Caleta de Fuste again. The only thing I would say is that the hotel definitely feels more geared towards families than couples, so that’s something to keep in mind when booking.

From the moment of arrival the reception team make you feel so welcome and provide all necessary information to facilitate your stay. Our room was so nice, clean and ready for us. A big thankyou to the housekeeping team throughout our stay for their daily care. The food provided in the restaurants was outstanding. High quality chefs cooking and providing us guests with such variety, colour and exceptional presentation. The staff in all these areas of the restaurants are so helpful. They work tirelessly to fulfill all the guests requirements and expectations. These members of the team have our utmost respect. We thank them, without them the smooth operations would not be possible. The bar areas are very friendly spaces to enjoy conversations with other guests from other countries. These staff are very experienced, we thank them. The Animation team are 100% committed to us guests! Each member adds individuality and qualities to enhance the team. Very high praise indeed to each one of them, the atmosphere they create is unique! They are able to adapt their behaviour to each activity /age demographic/event. What a team! The a la carte restaurants were so enjoyable. Experienced staff, very romantic atmosphere and beautiful food. We were delighted and very appreciative to have enjoyed both Italian and Tex Mex during our stay. We based our stay in the Relax Area/Adult Only. This lovely garden is such an asset at Elba Sara. It allows a quieter space away from the children to unwind. We feel this is the unique selling point for the Elba Sara. Well done to Quayer and Magnolia for the care they provide maintaining this area. There is no doubt that the staff at Elba Sara make your stay wonderful. We always say "its not the bricks and mortar that make your holiday- its the people"

Had another brilliant holiday at the Elba Sara. Every member of staff was friendly and polite and the food and drinks were excellent . I had a junior suite with a large sun terrace and unspoilt views.No problems getting a sun lounger and parasol. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Enjoyed my stay so much that I’ve already booked for next year.
The location is great right by the beach shops and golf. Our room was ok lots of space and large shower and comfortable beds.the pillow was a let down. We also had an ironing board and iron room 606. The sheets were only changed twice on our 14 nights stay. We have stayed here back in 2019 and have noticed it needs updating.the family pool had loose linings and the floor was slippy. We noticed how hard the staff work. The receptionist were lovely and the bar staff. 1 lad was always smiling in the restaurant at breakfast. The food was a let down sometimes it was cold and not enough plates or spoons. Nice stay just a few moans
