Caybeach Caleta is located in a 2 minutes walk from the beach and 150 metres from Castillo centre. This appartments with one or two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, sofa bed in the living room and a large terrace with chairs and sunloungers ready to enjoy are the best option to discover Fuerteventura. Family fun awaits at the hotel's multisport and playground areas where have a mini golf match, discover the tennis court or have a bath in the swimming pool is a must.
Dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools or enjoy other recreational amenities including a sauna and a fitness centre. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access and an arcade/games room.
Superb little resort if you are here to work remotely. There are some lovely cafes around for breakfast etc. 6 of us stayed here and we would all stay again.
Stayed 7 nights late August-early September, family of four with grandmother and 2 teenagers. Pros: Bungalows are very spacious (stayed in 2 bed close to pool), clean and quiet and ours was very private. Veranda is great and enjoyed sun loungers and table and chairs out there. Generally staff friendly and helpful. Gentleman looking after breakfast told us off for going into breakfast 9.50am one morning maybe he was just having a bad day! Breakfast was really good, plenty of hot and cold choices and really nice omlettes made be lovely friendly ladies. Location is good, 5-10 mins to bars, restaurants and beach and family enjoyed local market on Tues and Saturdays with fake hats, bags, football shirts etc!
Cons: Literally just the sunbed situation needs some investment. Sunbed wars at this establishment take it to another level than the early risers bagging them all. Sunbeds are stacked at 6pm and locked up until 10am (11.30 on one day whereby lady lifeguard got stuck on the bus apparently, not sure why the keys are taken off the premises - I think eventually they found a spare set and after trying every key got them unlocked). Some guests start from about 9-9.30am guarding umbrellas and surrounding the sunbeds until they are unlocked. Some families with large numbers ensured they got front row at the pool daily by putting towels where they would then put their sunbed. This is an area that needs some investment, many of the umbrellas and beds are broken, one day our umbrella flew out of it's stand and landed on the family behind, thankfully no-one was injured.
Went mid Aug. good weather. Caleta is a great resort with amazing restaurants - so best booking SC and paying to eat out. Lots of choice. Stayed 2wks and ate out every night. Still cheaper than AI around resort. Full English around 4e.
Beach great and close by. Different spots you can settle on depending how far you want to walk.
Caybeach… we was in room 256. Problem with crawling insects and everywhere… kettle, clothes, table tops, floor, kitchen area, bathroom, sinks, etc Disgusting smell that is so vile it literally woke us up in the night. Seems common and reception not concerned. Advised to close toilet then when we had the smell to flush it and run water in sink for a while. Not good experience.
Bosch air con mouldy, grossed out as blowing mould spores all over and not in chns sleep area.
81 sunbeds which only catered for around 1/3 of the hotel. Queues in morning. Sunbeds and pool only available 10-6 which was very disappointing.
Kids club shut when we were there. Was then told by another family there was a room you could use with some basic things in but had to accompany chn and no staff there. Mini disco disgrace… half hour twice week if asked for it. 5 chns songs and danced amongst the poolside plastic chairs and tables. No dance area. Eve entertainment no atmosphere… bingo and awful karaoke most nights so we avoided.
Witnessed another customer who had just arrived bring their bin down to reception saying it had not been emptied from last guests and had stunk their room out. Reception not helpful and told lady to take it back until next day for the cleaners. But the next day was the cleaners day off!!!
Cleaning was sporadic. We were missed a few times and we had cleaners asking us to sign off their sheet to say we didn’t want a clean, when we had said nothing of the sort. Often left without enough towels for 1 per person. Towels very thin and old and didn’t really dry that well. Chns beds rarely made, pile of sheets just dumped on top.
Mini golf past sell by date long ago and needs ripping out. Arcade equipment regularly broke.
Bungalows reasonable, we liked having the 2 sunbeds on the balcony.
Last year we stayed across the road at the broncemar. Caleta is a really nice area but if we were to return, we definitely wouldn’t stay at caybeach and probably not at broncemar either tbh. Seemed some great evening entertainment at the San Jose/ San Antonio (can’t remember which one but they had a fountain with a stage next to it and the hotel built up around it 360 degrees) hotel and lots of holiday makers watching.
Caleta is on a flight path so expect noise and planes every 5mins or so from very early to late.
Give Caleta a try, but not caybeach.
My boyfriend and myself stayed here for 10 days. The apartments are clean, basic,but not in them all day. Does need alittle tlc BUT air-conditioning WORKS... which was a massive bonus, sunbeds on balcony.
We didnt have breakfast here. Had lunch at the pool bar once. Was ok.
One of the biggest down sides is the sun beds. I have seen it in over reviews and yes they are a pain. People will stand by umbrellas before sunbeds unlocked. And people will put towels on bed and go off for hours. Be prepared to not get one.
I would return again Caybeach location is great good for price. Staff were helpful. Nice atmosphere at pool bar.
But... please sort sunbeds out.
Myself and husband stayed at Caybeach from the 7th to 17th Sept 2026. Unlike some of the bad reviews who mention sunbed wars, this situation is not unique to Caybeach, it happens everywhere. Over the 10 days, my husband went for a swim at 10am everyday and only on 2 occasions after fetching the towels from the room at 10.30 we could not get a bed. If u can’t get a bed it’s a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach where there’s loads of beds. As Caybeach has open plan apartments, it’s always going to be accessible to opportunists that try doors hoping to find one open. You wouldn’t leave your door unlocked at home while u went out so don’t do it at Caybeach and you’ll be ok. Cleaning of the rooms was punctual apart from the Thursdays and Sundays which they are not cleaned and this is stated on the paperwork. If u don’t wish your room to be cleaned, you are asked to sign a form which covers the cleaners. As for the cleaners, they are always about and do a great job. Rooms are adequate for self catering, large living area, shower room, bedroom with air con and a large patio with table and chairs and sun loungers. One review mentioned there was no gym or sauna, this is actually located behind room 501 but u have to get the key from reception. As for the team at Caybeach from the bar staff, cleaners, maintenance and receptionists we can’t fault their hard work. A special mention to Kate in reception who is an absolute credit to Caybeach, polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. We have just had our 3rd visit to Caybeach in 12 months and have already booked for June and September next year bringing our family and also meeting up with holiday makers whom we’ve met at Caybeach on previous visits. So, in a nut shell, Caybeach is not as bad as some of the reviews. While in Caleta, Do what you do at home and remember it’s a holiday destination and there’s always someone to want to take advantage.
