Barcelo Fuerteventura Mar

We had a lovely stay at this hotel overall. The hotel was nice, and our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The entertainment was also really good, with plenty to enjoy throughout our stay. Another big positive was the easy access to the beach, which was really convenient.

However, there was one situation around the pool that was quite disappointing. I noticed what appeared to be sick in the pool. I assumed this may have been because the pool is quite salty and children could potentially get the salt water in their mouths. My dad and I went over to the lifeguard straight away to make him aware of the situation.

The lifeguard immediately told us that there was no sick in the pool and that it was just sun cream, without initially even coming over to look at it. We explained again that we believed it was sick, and eventually he came over to inspect it. Even after looking, he continued to insist that it was sun cream, despite my dad still explaining that it appeared to be sick.

Unfortunately, it was never cleaned up and was left in the pool. Regardless of whether it was sick or sun cream, we feel that it should have been removed and the pool properly checked, especially as people were continuing to swim in it. The main issue for us was that our concern wasn’t taken seriously and nothing was done about it.

Aside from this incident, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel, room, entertainment and location were all great, and the easy access to the beach was definitely a highlight

Here we had a very relaxing holiday. Just the two of us, my son and I. Our room was nice and modern and superclean. The pools were nice, the beach behind the resort is lovely with clear water if you like to go snorkling. The staff is super super friendly, bith at the receptions as well as the bars and restaurants. There are shops and bars and restaurants around the resort as well. We had everything we needed for a very relaxing holiday. My son has good allergies, staff made sure he had the right options as well. I will definitely come back again and take more family with me.

A great location on the seat front fabulous large rooms well maintained a fantastic atmosphere at the staff are so welcoming professional and helpful, I've just been to there Brazilian restaurant I'm a healthy eater but I struggled I've never had so much, wonderful friendly staff. They worked their socks off.
