Located right on Caleta de Fuste Beach, Barcelo Fuerteventura Castillo features 3 swimming pools, a Thalasso Spa, a daily entertainment programme and a kid's club. The Thalasso Spa includes seawater pools, hydromassage jets, a sauna, sensation showers, massages, and a gym. At the marina you can practise a wide range of water sports. There are also 2 golf courses within 10 minutes' drive. There are several restaurants at Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort offering local and international cuisine. You will also find many bars, including a poolside bar, sports bar and a theatre with evening shows.
Well where do I start this is a tale of positives and negatives I will start with the negatives Very confusing on arrival not well sign posted and we arrived at about 11pm so after a long day just want it made a bit easier we kinda got lost and a helpful member of staff helped also there seems to be too many different all inc coloured bands you are not quite sure what and where you can go also the main pool is looking a bit tired and not enough umbrellas and some of the sun loungers are knackered needs some investment the staff in the restaurant are hard working and pleasant but it can take ages to get a drink at dinner surely with all inc self service wine would be a nice touch and snacks around the pool don't exist this is bizarre for all inclusive Positive notes Rooms very clean beds very comfy slept very well and fresh bottle water every day left in the fridge by the cleaners nice touch In summary this is a decent place barcelo are a big brand and there are good standards just feel it lacks some touches and some investment especially around the pool snack times Hope this helps
Positives, clean room, good bedding Food was consistently good and plenty of choice , nice home cooked choices and salad bar. Staff always polite and friendly. Pool area is tired and dirty looking , not enough and broken parasols. Would be better if no deposit for a pool towel is required, other Barrcello don’t ask for this. There appears to be lots of issues with door locks and key fobs not working (others reported same issues). Not sure why all inclusive snacks are not advertised or guarded in the main entrance, we did not use this service because we had enough at meal time, however it should be visible and available if that’s what you have paid for . Dining room could improve on the little things like provide tea spoons and tea pots, inside and out. I feel this hotel is not 4* it’s 3 and needs some maintenance improvements and a good clean up, it could be just me but poor info provided at check in , regardless of your flight comes in late , everyone should get the same consider ice. The person that check is on could do with washing and ironing his shirt and tie. Looked like he rolled out of bed and wiped his face on his tie. To balance this review , there is some good element to this hotel and staff work teally hard. The area was quite dirty in the resort , we like to walk and found bins piled up , mattresses and discarded furniture. This resort is not fir me personally, therefore will not be returning
Lunch & evening meals in hotel restaurant, drinks are served by staff, not help yourself, would suggest ordering drinks before getting food, as at times takes a while to get served.
Myself and my partner actually stayed at the barcelo mar but were told we could also go here for drink etc. We did go there but did not stop as I found the staff unbearably rude and very unwelcoming, not at all like the staff at the mar. Maybe they could learn a thing or 2 from the staff at the mar who are all amazing
accommodation just looks dated with both cupboard doors and the drawer front ready to fall off in the kitchen and the patio doors have been repaired by dodgy dave from the pub with ugly slide bolts and damage to the frame from a crowbar.Where the nightime entertainment is situated is fine if you are directly in front of it ,otherwise you can hear it but see nothing
