Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Hotel was very clean, room was basic but kept clean by staff regularly. Brunch was ok, only had one day where food wasn’t that hot but plenty of cold options and served until 1.30. If I had one complaint it would be the general noise, I would suggest felt pads on the bed legs and any chairs in the rooms, the noise from people moving furniture around was bad at time, especially with the cleaners sorting out the rooms. We were in room 0116 and the balcony view wasn’t good so we never sat out. Hotel is only a short walk into the centre as well, pool is small but we never struggled for a subbed, in fact lost days some were never used at all.
Tourist hotel... the location is good, just a ten-minute walk to the beach. Check-in was exceptional, with very friendly and helpful staff, super fast with the app opening the doors. Large, clean room with a balcony. Good breakfast. The only downside is the bed and pillows, which are horrible and old, and need to be reconsidered.
Spent five nights at the hotel from 6th-11th July in room 829 or 828?, i used the app to pre check in which saved time when we arrived, i found the reception staff very helpful with any requests. We had a room on the eighth floor with a fantastic sea view which i would recommend, its worth paying a little extra for, the beds are very comfortable, room was spotless and the bathroom was excellent, there was very little amenities in the room which did not bother us as we brought our own, we paid for use of the safe which was reasonably priced, thank you to the maid who looked after our room, she did a fantastic job. There was an excellent selection available for the brunch each day, food was very good and the orange juice was one of the best i have had in a hotel for a long time, the waiting staff were very busy but also helpful. No other food was available in the hotel after 1pm which was strange, perhaps a casual dining menu in the bar would be a good idea and would also be another revenue stream for the property. We used a great family run chinese restaurant just across the road, great food and service. We used the bar area every day and found it to be a nice relaxing atmosphere, i have to thank the amazing Sylvia who looked after us, her cocktail skills are great and always serves with a smile. Overall we enjoyed our time staying here, its not the normal type of hotel we would usually stay in but we were very impressed with every member of staff we came in contact with, i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and good luck to the trainee staff on reception they have a great future in hospitality going by what i observed.
Great hotel -great location-great-breakfast-great experience staying here-will definitely stay again 👍
Tent Hotel for a 3 star hotel is very good value for money situated a short walk to the centre of bars restaurants and shops in abundance the beach although you could walk it I wouldn’t recommend it because of the hill you would have to come back up just get a taxi 5 to 6 euros. The beach is a must plenty of sunbeds at 7 euros a day with lots of bar restaurants and shops but take care in the sea as the current can be very strong. Going back to the hotel the breakfast/brunch in my opinion is very good open till 13.30 you can have your breakfast then go back for something to eat for lunch well prepared and fresh there is something for everyone. The only downside is the pool is very small and you don’t get any sun till 12 noon to 13.00 depending where your situated also the hotel needs some security on a night because 2 young girls who stayed at the hotel were followed and harassed by two foreigners who didn’t stay at the hotel so this needs to be addressed, that’s the only things I can really say in a negative way but the bar is open 24 hours so security would be better in my opinion. Apart from that the rooms are spacious and clean beds are made everyday and towels every two days also pay for a sea view the sun rise is stunning! You can get hotel towels for 15 euros and get your money back when you hand them back there are no kettles in the rooms but you can get one at reception for 5 euros with 10 euros deposit which you also get back once you hand it back. The staff are very friendly and Slyvia works tirelessly at the bar on an evening so all in all we enjoyed our stay and would go back no problem at all.
