Worst bed I have ever lay in (I wont say slept because I barely slept) Rooms were nicely decorated and adequately refreshed (not using the word cleaned) Located along a beautiful beach promenade with lovely restaurants in walking distance. Close to airport. Cocktails were horrible. Long queues at bar however coffee/water/soft drink self service which was good. Although too high up for kids to use themselves. Buffet food was bad. Snack bar food was good. Those guys work incredibly hard, i imagine because the buffet is so bad the snack bar is so so busy. Sunbed wars is real! Sunbeds are disgustingly dirty. Beds are easier found st the smaller pool but thats not were the kids want to be. Pool nice and not freezing. Floats allowed which is good. Animation team work hard. Include everyone. General consensus is "you get what you pay for".
This for us was just a cheap 5 night break, e wanted something close the airport so this ticked all the boxes. Well I will say 5 nights was enough I am so glad we didn’t do longer. The hotel itself was ok clean and tidy & our room was fine. We didn’t have a problem with the food to be honest eat, always plenty of choice and I can’t complain it was definitely edible, however on one occasion my daughter got the bolognaise from the children’s section and it had big lumps of raw mince! The que to getting into the restaurant at times was ridiculous I can honestly say I have never had to que like that at any hotels we have been to, the que for the pool snack back was also ridiculous and drinks if you didn’t use the self serve. The hotel cannot cope with the amount of people, the pool is far too small for the size of the hotel, the sun beds are dated and you are crammed in like sardines, that’s if you happen to get a bed, if you want a laugh, get up and watch them all queuing up and running for their beds 🫣 we used the smaller pool a couple of days, not the cleanest of pools either! It’s a good location if you like the beach! It did the job for five nights, would I go back, definitely not! It’s so much nicer up in Benalmadena. The water park is worth a trip. I feel like this is the catfish of Jet2 🤣🫣
After booking we were a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but was a great holiday. Family holiday ages ranging from 3 to 80. Had a great time. Good location, only 8 euros by taxi in to centre. Opposite club Aruba, loud disco but all done by 11.30 so no problems with late night noise. Busy, lively, but what a slick operation catering for so many guests. Very well organised. Animation team work very hard as do all other staff. Foam party, water slide, pool magic carpet, aquarobics, sports activities. Plenty to do. Our room was modern, clean and well kept. Good value for money. The food was very varied, plenty of it and catering for all nationalities, not all to Uk taste, but we always found something tasty to eat. Yes, there are queues for bar and dining but if you time things right they can be avoided. We all had a great time.
I’m really disappointed to be writing this review as I really wanted it to be a great holiday. What I will say is the staff are great especially the dining staff, very hard working. Me and my mum both came down with D&V. I was first and I’ve NEVER been that sick in my entire life, I felt exhausted and so unwell. My mum the next day ended up the same and we both wasted a day in bed due to the food!! My mum said the scrambled eggs tasted odd at Breakfast. I had the mince from the kids section and it was raw!!!!!!! Please be careful if you book here, maybe we were just unlucky 😔
It’s such a shame as we had a good day on the second day and things toke its turn for the worse! Please be careful if you book here for the food. We found the staff very friendly it’s just the food!
Booked here as we could only manage 4 nights away due to other commitments and this was close to the airport and near the beach. We upgraded to gold which in our opinion was worth it, the lines for bar and restaurant were massive and with the gold you get to skip the lines and have your own bar with better drinks also a lovely outdoor patio over looking the beach in the restaurant, you also get to use the onsite restaurants which included a bbq night and Italian both of which are lovely. On to sunbed wars, it’s really not an issue yes people do get up and wait before the pool opens for specific spots but we went down at 10 ish and plenty of beds still to choose from. We opted for a junior suit as with two teen boys having the separate bedroom was a must, the snack bar by the pool is brilliant freshly cooked chicken kebabs and burgers etc. Entertainment seemed good but we don’t really take part or watch the evening shows. Overall it’s great for a few nights away not too far to fly from the UK and 10 mins from the airport, there’s nothing really standout that would make me want to return it’s an average all inclusive resort in Spain but it was just what we wanted for a short break and a bit of sun to end the summer x
