Great location and been refurbished very nicely. Lovely swimming pool and sunbathing area. Always plenty of sunbeds available. Nice ambience with background music playing all day. Great bar area with shaded area too if required. Staff very friendly and hard working. Don't waste money on having a cocktail though!! Ingredients totally wrong!! Worse pina colada ever.!! Bit overpriced too. Rooms very nicely decorated but some things missing which were bit irritating. No net curtain over door to balcony so u either in pitch black with blackout curtain drawn or exposed to surrounding neighbours looking in. Also no hooks or shelves in bathroom 🤔. Storage lacking in room too. Plenty room for chest of drawers! Our cleaner wasn't great. Cd see floor hadn't been mopped or mirrors cleaned. Soap wasn't replaced and we had to ask at reception for towels as not left us any one morning. Breakfast was very nice. Lots of choice and waitresses bringing round cava, pancakes and churros. We did enjoy stay here. Dropped one point purely for points mentioned Recommend though
Stayed there for 11 nights in August. Staff were so amazing, every single one of them. So friendly, helpful and attentive. Never encountered staff like them before. Nothing was a problem to them! Great facilities there. Had a massage by the pool side which was lovely. Would highly reccomend having one! The breakfast was unreal. Great choices. Bar prices very reasonable! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend.
Everyone of the staff were incredible friendly polite and so helpful, beautiful hotel lovely pool area and no hassle getting sun beds any day of our stay ,our room was spotlessly cleaned everyday , overall a really pleasant stay would highly recommend this hotel
I travelled with my husband for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary and like another review we also got the ‘love package’ with the balloons, petals, chocs, processo etc which was a lovely start to our holiday. We also upgraded to a junior suite (708) which was worth it. Room was always clean and spotless.
We did notice a smell when the air conditioning unit was on and reported this to reception who did get their maintenance guy to come and clean it however this didn’t stop the smell so thankfully we had a large fan with us so very rarely used the air conditioning due to the smell.
After reading the reviews was looking forward to the breakfast that people raved about and was actually really disappointed as everything is cold. None of their hot items (bacon, sausage, eggs etc) all need to be pinged in the microwave provided. You do get a great selection of other items such as bread, cereals, meat, cheese, sweet treats etc.
The pool and pool area are small but thankfully we were always able to get a sunbed but would hate to see what this was like at the height of summer. We always ate here at lunchtime for a toastie, hamburger, chips etc which was reasonable.
Location is great as you are 5/10 mins walk from the promenade with lots of shops/restaurants and a Uber of approx €7/8 to the Marina at Benalmadena for more choice.
The staff are fantastic here and everyone is lovely that you deal with.
Check out is 12pm and due to us not being picked up until 4.30pm we asked if there was a way of still enjoying the pool and freshening up before our flight. They offer a service for €15 with fresh towels and toiletries which we thought was great. The showers are located in the gym and clearly labelled as separate men’s and women’s areas. When ready we got the towels and a key card from reception and went to use the showers. Once there my husband entered the male showers and I entered the females to realise there was no lock on the door and was slightly apprehensive as some men had been knocking on the gym windows just a few mins prior but as you need a key card quickly jumped in the shower and within mins could hear a large group of men outside my shower door. Not going to lie this was a really distressing experience for me as a female knowing that the door was unlockable and I was in the room naked. I swiftly got out the shower and tried to dress while wet to hear my husband outside telling one of the men that this room was occupied (even though clearly labelled as women’s).
While this is a great service that they offer to all their occupants it needs to be managed differently as the 8 men were given a key card and told to wait outside until me and my husband were done but didn’t and just let themselves in. We reported this to reception who apologised but again my fears could have been elevated purely by having locks on these doors in the first place.
Ultimately we had a really lovely few days at a great hotel but that last experience has made me reconsider whether I would return.
Great hotel, Reuben and his colleagues on reception very friendly and extremely helpful, as was Milena and the team at the pool bar. The pool area was always clean and plenty of sunbeds, discovered the sun terrace on 4th floor which had a dozen sunbeds and we always had it all to ourselves, great for a snooze in the sun!! The room cleaning was not of a great standard and the breakfast disappointing- although a great selection the “hot” food was lukewarm. Hotel was in a handy area for getting around - bus stop outside front door and easy 5/10 min walk to shops, restaurants, bars and beach. Despite the slight niggles had a lovely holiday and would definitely return.
