This wonderful hotel is located in Torremolinos, the perfect place for a holiday trip. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes to visit and taste new flavours while creating new unforgettable moments. Visitors may also be pleased to spend a day at the beach, sunbathing in front of the Mediterranean Sea or having a refreshing dive in it. The complex has a bright look and is decorated with sophisticated furniture to make the guests stay the most comfortable and pleasant one. They may enjoy a lovely meal at the restaurant tasting delicious local specialities and international dishes or a refreshing drink by the pool at the poolside snack bar. Guests will be delighted by the nice, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms where they can have the rest they deserve after having a fun day full of activities.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Just five minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants but 20 min walk away from the busier centre of Torremolinos. Hotel is spotlessly clean, staff friendly and helpful. Room cleaned every day to a high standard. Food was ok, usually warm instead of hot. Not much choice for vegetarians and more labelling would be been appreciated but what we expect from an all inclusive buffet. Food was cooked very well and salads very tasty, tho a lot were finished with meat/fush meaning unsuitable for us.
The hotel is generally nice, and the rooms pretty good quality. If you’re lucky enough to get a balcony pool side of the hotel it’s great, but half the hotel rooms face a busy road and are noisy.
The hotel is in a good location to walk to the beach (around 15 mins), but if you’re looking for a quiet get away this isn’t for you. The hotel has a very busy school next door and the sound of children(as lovely as it is) is very noisy as there is lots of shouting and squealing all day long)
The hotel is very very geared towards French and German guests and the activities are mainly in french. (No problem if you grasp a bit of French but something to be aware of)
Food and drinks - where do I start ….. drinks are ok ….. the spirits are local spirits and not nearly the same as branded ones, and the mixers ie coke, orange juice etc are hit and miss and often taste horrible.
The food is repetitive, pretty much the same at lunch time and night time and not very nice, everything is just warm or room temperature which always concerns me after a bout of tummy troubles on a holiday especially as there’s rice sat there all the time.
If you have a fussy eater, you’d struggle.
Weather is great, plenty of sunbeds and reserving with towels is managed by chucking them off if no one’s been for an hour …..
Would I come back - yes, but I wouldn’t go all inclusive, it’s not a patch on other all inclusives we’ve been to …….
Staff work incredibly hard and should be rewarded x
Location was great 10 mins max to old town shops & Carihuela beach were you will find beach clubs and bars. Gorgeous resort clean tidy and the prom is beautiful. The room was great few issues with the air con but fixed once reported, but noy that we go to watch TV but not 1 English channel but plenty French etc. The cleaners were in daily and very polite, noise levels were ok and you were fine in the room at night with a comfortable sleep. Service reception fabulous, ents team outgoing & friendly, restaurant staff very polite. Day bar service was fine buuuuuuut evening bar staff in the main bar area very rude and disgusted when we just asked for soft drinks and got a rude when they apparently didn't hear us!!!!!! Food was very repetitive as in pork lunch & dinner but breakfast was plentiful along with 4pm crepes. Thanks for a lovely stay not sure if we will return due to catered hotel for French, Deutsch & German.
Arrived at hotel and paid for the safe in my room only to find when I got to the room no safe went to reception and they sent the maintenance man with my safe so when he was there could he fix my toilet seat as it was hanging off put my valuables in the safe to find about 1hour later ready to take some money the safe wouldn't open got maintenance man again to find batterys in the safe flat fixed next day went on to the balcony where I was on ground floor next to pool level to find my door wasn't locked because it was broken couldn't fix it was given a piece of pipe to jam the door shut pipe still there when I left 4star service not obviously room not checked not acceptable when I left the hotel nobody wanted to say anything same man at desk when I had these problems this hotel does have some good points you may benefit if your not English as very French and Spanish orientated a shame good location
We stayed here for a week as part of a Jet2 Holiday.
We were a little hesitant following the slightly mixed reviews but we had nothing to worry about.
We arrived about midday on our transfer (which sits just outside the hotel on the main road as the hotel sits on a hill). The reception is very open and airy, and we were welcomed by friendly staff. There was a small wait for check-in due to only one member of staff on the desk, but this was partly due to a big group checking in before us. We were too early for the room but we were given our wristbands and the locations of the bar and restaurant were explained to us and there was a place to leave the luggage.
We paid a little extra for a balcony and although we didn’t pay for a sea view, we had a small sea view to the side. We were based on the 7th floor (top floor) at the front of the hotel. The street below was a little busy, but we were never disturbed and we were blessed with the sun in the afternoon which was wonderful for sitting on the balcony and for drying our towels and clothes. There was also a clothes airer on the wall of the balcony.
The room was extremely spacious with a huge super king bed. There were plenty of outlets in the room and lots of wardrobe and storage spaces. The bathroom was extremely spacious and we were given plenty of towels. The only extras we would have liked to have seen in a little shelf to place shower bits so they didn’t have to go on the floor and a proper hand soap so we didn’t have to fight with a bar of soap. There was a safe available at a cost which we opted for just in case (€1,500 insurance included with the safe) and there was also a mini fridge with a complimentary bottle of water provided.
The pool area was fantastic with an abundance of beds available at any point in the day. There are two pools available, the main pool which was both shallow and deep, and a second new pool which seemed more family friendly so we opted for the main pool. There was bar beside both pools too serving plenty of drink varieties. There were also snacks throughout the day at the bar, which included burgers and hot dogs in the early afternoon, sweet treats later on and sandwiches about 6pm. There was also cold meats and cheese available most of the afternoon. There is a large freezer with ice creams too which you can help yourself to.
The restaurant is extremely spacious with an abundance of food options to suit all tastes. We never went hungry here at all & they are quick to clear and clean tables and will take all your used plates to leave you with a clear spread again. They also replenish all the food very quickly. You get to help yourself to drinks in the restaurant too.
The location of this hotel is excellent. It is across the road from a shop and only about a 5 minute walk down to the beachfront with plenty of shops, bars & restaurants along the way. It is also only about a 15 minute walk from Torremolinos town centre with plenty of other shops and bars available.
All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and welcoming, including reception, lifeguards, entertainment, bar, restaurants, cleaning and maintenance. The Jet2 rep who visits the hotel was also extremely helpful when needed.
There is plenty of entertainment on offer in the hotel, with plenty of activities throughout the day. We didn’t partake in many of these but did play a game of darts. There was also different evening entertainment on. We’re not late night people and this tended to start at 10pm, so we didn’t stay for much but we enjoyed the Flamenco dancing we did watch.
All in all, we would definitely return and we look forward to seeing what the hotel looks like after all the ongoing renovations are finished.
