Nice hotel, lovely position , rooms big and well maintained. However I would recommend you to only go bed and breakfast , we went half board and unfortunately the lunch or evening buffet meals and not the best we've had. There is a lot of choice , but our main concern was around the hot food this could have been of a better quality and prepared with a little more professionalism . Yes we would maybe stay again but only bed and breakfast.
Loved the hotel and the surroundings. The only rough spot was Adrian, the barman, who was extremely rude. He does not belong in the hotel as he make guests feel unwelcome.
Booked the hotel with Melia but it is now Grupotel. Thought long and hard about how to rate the hotel, so generally good with some room for improvement. Was told we would be allocated a room near the lift due to my walking difficulties. Allocated room 2908, end of the corridor, top floor. If there was a need to evacuate I would be struggling. Most of the staff were really nice but there were two ladies in the dining room who looked as though they didn’t enjoy their job and they would take food from the table without even asking if was finished. Breakfast was the big let down. Yes lots of choice except if you wanted an English breakfast - there was no variety daily, the fried eggs were awful. It was very busy. Evening meals were good but not much choice for children. Bar staff very good, prices very much hotel prices. Entertainment very good. Lots of stairs and steps but there are lifts and a ramp to the sea front. In summary good hotel, well positioned, generally nice staff.
The hotel is in the ideal position, east access to the Marina and also the carihuela beach area. The room was spotless, shower nice and clean. Breakfast was very good, lots of fruit and healthy options. If you enjoy running and walking perfect. So many restaurants. Staff were very professional and polite and smartly dressed . I actually don’t think you could fault this hotel and the staff.
Everything about this hotel was first class. From the reception staff, to the bar staff, the restaurant staff each and everyone of them were so pleasant and most accommodating. The standard of cleaniness was of the highest both inside and outside. The breakfast didn't dissapoint and what an array of choice all beautifully presented. The rooms were spacious with a little sofa and a speaker which was great for blasting out the tunes on the evening. The hotel is in a most central location with gate access directly onto the promenade. Overall we were delighted with this hotel and have not hesitation in recommending it as a place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it.
