This hotel is located directly in the tourist centre of Torremolinos and is separated from the sandy beach by just a road. An array of shops and entertainment attractions are located within 3 kilometres of the hotel. The closest airport is just 7 km from the hotel. Public transport departs from stops located directly in front of the hotel.
This attractive apartment hotel was built in 1975 and renovated in 1997. The hotel offers a total of 326 guestrooms spread over 4 floors of which 12 are singles, 128 doubles and 186 are apartments. The facilities include a spacious lobby with a lift, a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a conference room and a games room. In addition, it has a cosy café, bar, shops and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for younger guests. Medical assistance is also on offer for should it be necessary. The hotel offers younger guests a playground and kids' club.
The rooms and apartments are tastefully decorated and include an en suite bathroom. In addition, they are fitted with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, central heating and a safe.
Guests are offered a swimming pool, a pool bar, sun loungers, parasols, a hot tub, water aerobics, a solarium and massage service as well as a diversified entertainment programme.
Guests may choose their breakfast, lunch or dinner from the respective buffets. Guests may also book all-inclusive stays.

What a great hotel great food great rooms and beautiful location just a little too far out for bars and restaurants for us as we like to venture out at night great being near train station
All inclusive but you have to pay for snack bar , beach bar or other restaurant. Why call it all inclusive if it is only 1 restaurant you can eat free .No branded drinks ,only exist on the menu not in reality when asked the staff replied “talk to a boss not me “ . Insect bugs infested room in junior suite We asked to move reception said no room available,we had a cleaning lady who sprayed the bugs chemical smell everywhere. Asked repeatedly to move and Finally we managed to move to another room in the middle of the night.no compensation no interest of our wellbeing . Not a 4 star hotel . Barcelo levels not mean anything there . We would not return .
Nice hotel for relaxing at the pool as well as at the sea. All-inclusive program is valuable, range variety of tasty food and drinks available all the day.

We had a pleasant 4 night stay as a couple at the Occidental Torremolinos Playa. Overall we enjoyed the main pool area which was large and nearby pool bar plus we had a excellent pool and sea view room as provided by the hotel.
The food was typical for an All Inclusive hotel and I would agree with it's 4 star status and overall Trip Advisor score. The hotel provides exactly what it should for one of this standard and couples and families will enjoy their stay here.
The hotel has a great location in terms of being right on the promenade and next to the beach. It's around a 20-30 minute walk into the main part of Torremolinos where you will find lots of bars and restaurants and nightime entertainment.
