Staying here now , it is sooo noisy . Walls must be very thin and have been awake for 2 hours since 1.30 am with people being sooo loud.
I stayed at BLUESEA Solaris on 3 April for one night with my dog and, unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. To be fair, there were a few positives. The location is excellent, the rate for Easter was reasonable, and the gentleman at reception was polite and professional. The dog welcome pack was also a nice touch. However, the cleanliness of the room was completely unacceptable. When retrieving a ball from under the bed, I found a thick layer of dust that had clearly been there for a long time. The corners of the room were heavily built up with dirt, and the furniture was visibly worn with chips and damage throughout. The bathroom was in particularly poor condition. The silicone was black and discoloured, the bathtub overflow was covered in limescale, and there was even a dirty sponge left behind by housekeeping. As a result, I did not feel comfortable using the shower or bath at all. The issues extended outside to the balcony, which was covered in bird droppings and clearly had not been cleaned. There also appeared to be a pigeon nesting above, which could be heard constantly. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit was thick with dust, extremely loud, and did not produce any cold air. The television also had no signal for the duration of the stay. I work in hotel management myself, so I do not make complaints lightly. These are not minor issues but basic standards that should be met before any guest checks into a room. I chose to raise this directly with the hotel rather than immediately posting a public review. While they responded, the resolution offered did not reflect the seriousness of the issues experienced and focused more on the fact I had not reported it during my stay. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not return.
The location, with its beautiful sea views, is amazing and very relaxing. The hotel staff are extremely professional, welcoming, and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble, and you feel well looked after from check-in right through to departure. The hotel is clean and well maintained, which is clearly down to the dedication and hard work of the team. However, the lack of investment in the rooms is beginning to show. Small upgrades such as new curtains, bedding, improved lighting, and fresh painting would make a big difference. This hotel has huge potential and could be even more desirable with some thoughtful improvements. Many customers return year after year, and this is clearly thanks to the wonderful staff and the warm, welcoming atmosphere they create.
This is a perfect location to stay. Its entrance brings you out to a busy walkway full of shops restaurants bars etc. we loved it here as it’s so close to the beach front. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels should we request them. Reception were most helpful too and pleasant
Positives: The location is great, right on the beach where there’s loads of bars and restaurants. Easy to get to other places as the train station is about a 15 minute walk away. The staff readily helped us change rooms when we had been put in a twin instead of a double, and we were able to check in early. Rooms were pretty clean. Didn’t notice any issues with the noise level as mentioned in other reviews.
Negatives: Not sure I’d say the hotel looks like its photos, was quite dark, small and in need of some modernisation. A bit difficult for us to find, as it didn’t look like a hotel entrance from the outside. Bathroom could have been cleaner, hair in the sink and the walls around the bath/shower in need of a deep scrub. Balcony facing into the street wasn’t very private, out of their hands but more of a heads up for anyone looking to book as it faces the buildings on the other side.
Overall fine for the 4 nights we were there, location was definitely the biggest positive but unsure that we would stay again.
