This welcoming hotel is centrally yet quietly located, only 100 m from the splendid sandy beach of Torremolinos. Shops, bars and restaurants are to be found in the vicinity. Málaga is around 11 km from the hotel, whilst the airport is just 7 km away. Links to the public transport network are in front of the hotel. Renovated in 2005, this superbly situated hotel comprises a total of 66 rooms spread over 5 floors. Guests may make use of the air-conditioned foyer which has public Internet connection. Guests may choose to pay a visit to the cosy bar and the restaurant. Individually and tastefully decorated, the rooms are all air-conditioned and feature a balcony or terrace with views of the sea or pool. There is a swimming pool with sun loungers in the outdoor complex. The nearest golf course is just 3 km away.

I’m writing this as a Travel Agent who has inspected and stayed in hundreds of hotels in my career. The Essence is an exceptional boutique hotel in a most perfect location, a very short stroll to the sea. Tastefully appointed decor with a touch of elegance which includes the inviting patio out front, to the extremely friendly and welcoming lobby and staff. I only know Sergio and Patricia by name however each staff member was exceptional. The restaurants are amazing, whether it’s a cafe latte in the lobby or the buffet for dinner or my ultimate favourite The Space Monkey restaurant and rooftop bar. Space Monkey should be Michelin star rated. The pool is warm and clean but very deep (buying a pool noodle helps ) and the 3 hot tubs or cool tubs in August was the best! The rooms are very small according to North American standards however we managed to find space for all our belongings. I only wish there was a coffee maker vs Espresso machine however once again, knowing this in advance, I brought my own coffee apparatus to make decent coffee. The hotel is surprisingly quiet considering there are restaurants galore out front along with markets and shops. Enjoy the beach promenade where there’s more restaurants, shops, bars, music, and activities for every age. 100 meters to the tour bus pickup. Easy walk into town. This is one of my favourite hotels and I’d love to say that we will return! ❤️

The best hotel in Torremolinos
A hotel with a soul. You can feel the care and attention paid to its guests in every corner. The pool area is simply stunning. If we find ourselves in Torremolinos again, we'll definitely choose this hotel.
Wonderful 9 days in Essence Hotel, Torremolinos, Spain.
Location was perfect, also staff too. A little bit more expensive, like others, but every cents valued. Modem hotel, with high quality service. Atmosphere was amazing! Rooms perfect and clean with everyday cleaning. Wonderful breakfast and dinner. Perfect! I can offer for everyone, who wants to going to Torremolinos.

A small but very proper hotel near to the beach .
Very near to the beach (2min walk) and a bunch of restaurants and shops around. Impressively clean and modern, esp the pool, Jacuzzi and sun bathing beds. The rooms are not big but all things were there. ( but most part of the pool is deeper than an adult height, suggest adding some cushion layers to the bottom so more areas to stand on ). The beds, pillows are super comfortable to all our family members. Together with the fully blackout curtain, it gave us good sleeps, except that one of our two rooms facing the road got an extras side window, which appeared to have a lower sound proofing function. The first night with parties going on downstairs after 12 midnight caused one of us difficulties to sleep. The second night was better and the room facing the pool was perfect . Breakfast was rich and tasty with poolside view. Receptionists are nice and always try to help.

Always a pleasure to stay with Essence Hotel. A great location close to the beach, with friendly staff and a lovely product. Comfortable rooms and the outdoor pool area is great for relaxing the day away. I highly recommend this property.
