We stayed at this hotel for a week as a couple. It’s absolutely fine- would say 3 Star rather than 4.

We paid a little bit extra for a pool view so we didn’t have the noise from the road that lots of other people have complained about. The rooms are fine, pretty standard and we found ours to be well cleaned. The walls are thin and you can hear a lot but not much can be done about that. The breakfast is very good there’s lots of choice including eggs made fresh by the chef, pastries, continental options, etc. They also had a range of alternative milks like oat, soya and lactose free which was good.

The pool area is not so good. If you are not waiting by the doors at 9.15am then you cannot get a sunbed- it’s an absolutely ridiculous situation where you have people queuing by three separate doors (two in the bar and one by the stairs) and then it’s pot luck which one will be opened first causing utter chaos with people literally running and barging past each other. It doesn’t help that a large portion of the sunbathing area is taken up by beds that you have to pay €30-50 to use depending on the day. Ridiculous- it’s not ocean beach club… Many people would also leave towels on beds and not return for hours and nothing was done about this by the pool staff. As a result we spent most days at the beach instead. The pool bar is okay- I would suggest eating lunch elsewhere as it’s quite expensive for very average food.

Location is excellent- the train station is a couple minutes away and you can easily get to the airport. There are lots of good bars and restaurants within walking distance and the beach is about 15 minutes away.

Overall it was pleasant enough given we had got a good deal but I would be unhappy if I had paid more.

We stayed here for a week in May, would I return ermmmmm probably not.

we was on the 4th floor at the front of the hotel and the noise from the road did not stop all night long, the walls in the hotel are very thin, we could hear next door talking until early Hours etc. we could hear a couple above us having s*x. The walls need some sound proof adding.

The food was average, we found it very repetitive. One night was chicken wings and my partner bit into it and it was raw !! Complained to the restaurant staff and got 1 free drink for this, but they hadn’t pulled the chicken wings off which I found bizarre.

Could do with some atmosphere around the pool, 2 days they had some entertainment at lunch time which was great. They never really had music playing unless someone went and asked them to put it on.

For what we paid it was average, if we had paid more than what we had I would have been annoyed, I would say it is more like a 3 star than a 4.

The location though is great, loads of shops and restaurants around. Train station a 5 Minute stroll and can be in Malaga within 15 minutes. I would come to Torremolinos again but not stay at this hotel.
